Sexy Cover Saturday!

romangorielov / 123RF Stock Photo

This is the only totally MM story I've written as Wendi Zwaduk, but you all wanted to know what happened to Berto and Remi, so I had to write it. I love this story and hope you do, too. Go get a copy. It's free!!!

The end of the book or the start of a new chapter? Berto thought he’d lost a part of himself when his prized miniature bull terrier passed. Thankfully he’s had his partner Remi to help him grieve. Berto’s convinced one day he’ll be ready to open his heart and adopt another pet.

Some day.

Remi has other ideas. He knows Berto’s hurting and Remi wants to soothe the pain in the best way he knows how.

But will his plan backfire before he gets started?

Available here!

Monday Moans ~ What Might Have Been

Today's Monday Moan comes from What Might Have Been. I loved writing a story of a high school reunion gone right. Here's a little bit more about the book:

What Might Have Been Contemp, m/f, bdsm, toys, anal play novella Total-E-Bound
A second chance has never been this sweet or sexy.

Macy Shibley left Mason, Ohio, to figure out who she was and what she wanted. But after more than a few disastrous relationships, she refuses to let anyone tie her down. She’ll control the tying, thank you very much. No man has ever managed to chip away the walls around her heart...except for one man.

Tanner Connolly has never forgotten his high school crush. The sweet blonde with the vibrant eyes fills his dreams and fantasies. He’d had a shot in school to make her more than a friend, but blew it for the sake of appearances. Now he’d like to know what might have been and use it to create a future. But he’ll have to let her go to prove he wants more than one night...

Reader Advisory: This book contains steamy sex against a door, the creative use of sex toys, some harmless domination, and a little anal play for good measure.

And here's the moan!

“I want to make love to you, Macy.”

At the word ‘love’, her brain shut down and her body took over. She’d let herself get too damn close to true emotion. No more. “Fuck me.”

Tanner tore the tunic up over her head and tossed it somewhere out of her line of sight. Her nipples pebbled under his intense azure gaze and heat flooded between her thighs. She tipped her head back to succumb to his kiss. He nibbled along her jaw, his day-old whiskers abrading her cheek. He caressed her backside. “I want to take you everywhere.”

The longer his hands lingered on her ass, the more she wondered what he meant by ‘everywhere’. Something in his voice alluded to deliciously wicked things she’d tried many times, but would never have thought he’d enjoy. She gyrated against him to relieve a hint of the need overwhelming her senses.

His dick, long and hot, jabbed her lower belly. Macy fumbled with the buttons of his shirt and exposed his rippled chest, inch by glorious inch. Her mouth ran dry as she pressed her lips to his taut muscle and kissed the calligraphic Connolly tattoo over his heart. The letters swirled and tangled, almost like a web to protect him. She moaned and bit down. A man didn't get a body full of lean strength like this by working out at the gym. No, his kind of muscle came from working outdoors. The scent of his cologne—something woodsy—flowed over her like a lazy river.

“Yes, babe.” His fingers dug into her ass, not that she cared. “Take what you want from me and make me yours.”

Flirty Friday ~ Updates and Stuff ~ Where I'll Be

So this whole business with the hurricane, and justifiably so, is crazy serious. It's gonna get bad if things go the wrong direction.

The businesswoman in me says that if you're gonna hunker down, why not load down the nook, kindle, ereader with my books? Gives you something to do while being in safety.

The mother in me says, just make sure you stay safe. Find somewhere that hopefully won't blow away, get soaked and make sure you have lots of drinking water and food and blankets and batteries.

You're in my thoughts.

But if you aren't in the path of the hurricane and have nothing to do...

Please Remember Me is out in print and getting rave reviews. Pick up copies of Ever Fallen in Love and What Might Have Been while you're at it. And do enjoy!

Savin' Me comes out in September (the 12th!) in the Treble Anthology from Total-E-Bound. It's my first time in an anthology, so I'm stoked.

Tomorrow I'll be over at Whipped Cream's Yahoo loop chatting. Come check it out. Random prizes all day, Nook/Kindle/$150 GC up for grabs. Megan's chatting on Sunday so yeah, you should be there.

I've got my usual huge load of WIPs going. Gypsy's story got a huge bump when Allan and Todd finally told me their stories. Thanks, guys.

And, I signed the contract this week for When You're With Me. Yup, the stripper and the third Crawford Boys book, (it's a side story to Right and Please) comes out in March of 2012 (wow that seems to close yet so far away) from Total-E-Bound.

I turned in the Greek, so we'll see what happens to him.

Have a great weekend, stay dry, read, and check out the chats!

Monday Moans ~ Berto and Remi... Because YOU Asked For It

ACK! Berto! Man, we forgot to post today. I'm telling you, we'd forget our heads if they weren't attached.
To each other.
Bad.
But you like it.
Well, Wendi gave us permission to chatter on her blog, so here we are. I am the fantastic, wonderful
And handsome
Handsome, Remi Wayne!
And I, am the charismatic...suave
Oh for heaven sakes, he's Berto Katz.
Fine. Anyway, Miss Wendi gave us free run of her blog. I must say it's pretty. I like the red and black.
Yes, it is pretty. Now, if you read What Might Have Been then you probably read about us. I can see the wheels turning in your head. We've had lots of suggestions for our own story. Well, maybe.
Maybe, my buns. We're going to get our own story. She can't possibly make us wait forever.
Well, she can...
She won't. I have faith.
You also have a nice ass.
Can't you tell we've been together for too long? And thank you. I do have a nice ass.
We do have our eye on a certain cover model, but I happen to know he's in a relationship.
So are we.
True.
But if he asked, I'm pretty sure we'd probably trip over each other to get to him. I mean, Chris is hawt.
True.
We'll put another bug in Wendi's ear to get our story written. See ya!
B~

By Berto. I'll be along in a moment. (checking to make sure he's out of the room) Since he's gone, I'll finish. Yes, I'd like to clarify something. First, yes, Chris is hot, but he's in a relationship and so are we. Second, I'm not in the habit of sharing my partner. I had to do that once before and it just about tore my heart out. Third, Remi is all I want. But, as Berto would say, I'm letting my emotions run away with me again. Oh well. We'll see what Wendi comes up with. As long as she writes us ending up together.
~Remi

Two New Reviews!!!!

I opened the email and the Review Faery popped in. Yup. Two. Double squee!!!

The first one came from Whipped Cream Reviews. Foxglove enjoyed What Might Have Been and I'm am thrilled. She gave it five cherries. How awesome is that?

I love Wendi Zwaduk’s small town atmosphere in her romances. It makes me feel like these are people I know, or would like to meet and be friends with. The characters in this are all too familiar: the arrogant jock gone to seed, the society queen of the prom, all those folks left behind as you grew up. This is a very hot story, and the scene where Tanner gives Macy complete trust and control is one of the best scenes in the book.

The second review to pop into the box was courtesy of Literary Nymphs. This one is for Please Remember Me and I am tickled pink. It got four nymphs and I can't complain.
Both Jade and Marlon have a lot of mistrust issues to work out. Between the plot twists that show up, and the scheming by those around them, it was very easy to see why. I thought the last twist in the scene between Jade and her father was a wonderful one that I did not see coming. I also enjoyed the way the author resolved one theme that showed up in the book.

Thanks to everyone and I hope you continue to enjoy the books!

Tomorrow marks the release of my high school reunion novella, What Might Have Been. I've included the song that had a pretty big hand in influencing the story.
Little Texas - "What Might Have Been": "Big Time"
I also have the blurb and linky for the novella. Check it out!!

Friday Flirts ~ News and Dates to Remember!!!

Whew! Been a long week, and I haven't even had the time to pay attention to that huge fantastic romance across the pond. I've got a bit o'news! I got the edits for Please Remember Me and I'm happy to say they are back and in the editors hands. Yay!!! I'm also darned proud to say the edits for What Might Have Been are also back in the hands of the editor. Double Yay!

And since I'm spreading the news...I got a release date for Ever Fallen in Love!! August 15th!! Can you tell I'm excited? Sure am!

I've still got at least one sub out there floating around. Can't wait to hear about it...I'd love positive news, but yanno, the chips will fall where they will.

My goal for this week is to get the Farmer really going. I keep saying I will and I keep falling down on the job. I don't really have an excuse. Just busy. So that's the plan. Get the farmer in shape so I can (hopefully) resub him. I'm sure he'd tired of being in the box waiting for his turn.

Some important dates:

* I'm doing a book signing at the Sandusky Borders on May 1st from 1-3 with my dear friend Deb Alferio.

* May 23rd is the release day for Please Remember Me from Total-E-Bound!

* May 25th I'm chatting on Coffee Time's Erotic Loop in conjunction with the release. Come join me!! I'm giving away a GC to BN or Amazon!

* May 25th I'm also going to be at Brandyz's blog, talking about, you guessed it, Please Remember Me!!!

That's the news of the nation. Mark your calendar and prepare to join me. It's going to be a great time!

New Cover!!! (I know...again? Yup!)

That's what you get when you sub two books within a shorter span of time. Didn't plan for it to be that way, but hey, it did. Wanna see?

I like this one. I think the infusion of the city at the bottom is fantastic. What do you think? I'm thrilled.

Flirty Friday

I'm a little behind as of late. It happens. A lot.

I'm still pluggin' away at the menage story. I'm honestly one love scene short of being done. It's kinda fun, but kinda sad. I don't really want to let go of the characters. I'll get it done, though.

What's next on the hit parade?

Good question.

I want to help Megan get her story done. It's with a CP and getting there, but not quite ready. So that's a challenge. But I won't give up and I won't let her give up either.

Next for me? Three things. I think.

One - Gypsy, Todd, and Allan's story. They still won't tell me what they want to do. As soon as I think I know, they change the game. Brats.

Two - Rhett's story. So far I know one thing. That's it. Brat.

Three - Felicity's story. I know quite a bit for her. She's probably next on the line, but she may prove to be a brat, too. We'll see.

Oh crud. There's a four. Well...depending upon how the submission goes. I turned in Tucker and Megan's story. That's the infamous 6 year old manuscript. I love that story and didn't want to let it languish. But Janine and Eric want their story. They've waited nearly six years, too. So I guess they are due.

And a five...sheesh. Berto and Remi would like to tell their story. Which might be a bit difficult since they are already together and like one person. Double brats.

Looks like I need to get my plot bunnies in gear.

But...want a little snippet of the reunion story? This is unedited, so it may be a bit rough. Bear with me. Macy's going back to her 15 year high school reunion at Mason Senior High School. She's equally excited and scared to see her high school crush, Tanner Connolly. At the same time, she's with her two best guy friends, the wonderful Berto and Remi. This is when they enter the building and sign in.

As Macy stepped up to the folding table, Remi wrapped his arm around her waist. “I’d like to sign in with my ravishing date, Macy Shibley and my life partner, Berto Katz.”

Faith’s eyes widened as her brows knotted together. She elbowed her best friend and partner in tormenting crime, Jill Mickelson. Biting back a grin, Jill turned the registration book towards Berto and folded her hands. “It’s great to see you. We all wondered if you three would be a modern couple.” Jill snorted and rolled her eyes. “You were always ahead of your time.”

Macy opened her mouth to correct Jill when Remi patted her shoulder. “Thank you, Jill, honey. We thought we’d let Macy out to get some air. We shelter her so.”
“Oh.” This time, Jill’s jaw dropped. “I meant—”

“If we keep her locked up for too long, she gets cranky and I have to get out the whips.” Elbowing Macy forward, Berto nodded. “Bye, girls.”

Once inside the spacious auditorium, Macy plugged her ears. The song playing on the stereo system echoed off the walls and rattled her brain. The fog from the DJ stand clouded the room, making it hard to see more than twenty feet from her face. Grief, she hoped she didn’t trip into the rows of seats.

“I’ll be right back.” Remi planted a kiss on her cheek and one on his lover’s before disappearing into the throng of dancers.

Berto wrapped his arm around Macy once more. “He’s a dork sometimes, but he’s the love of my life. I’m glad you made us go on that date.”

“You’re welcome, but that little comment was childish.” She rolled her eyes. “Whips? I think she choked on her gum.” She ducked in close and spoke in his ear. “But I loved every moment. Next time say something about using the bondage bed. She’ll pass out.”

Enjoy!!

What the? Wednesday!

Whew! It's been a long couple days...what am I saying... Long couple of weeks! I did the blog tour for Careless Whisper. What a blast! I should do it again. After a nap. I had a great time meeting new readers and getting the word out there. Oh, and talking about ghosts. Always fun.

This week I'm over at Whipped Cream as the Spotlight Author. How cool is that? You can win a LinkGC to Amazon or BN if you comment. Why not? I love being spotlighted over there. The ladies at WC/LASR rock.

And then there was the announcement of TWO contracts. Call me an overachiever, but yeah, I turned in two subs and thankfully my editor liked them enough for contract. Please Remember Me comes out tentatively in May! What Might Have Been is tentative for a June release. Both from Total-E-Bound. Yanno, how cool is that?

Sara Reinke stopped by yesterday with her book, Dark Passages. That was a fun tour visit. Yvonne Walus stops by on her whirlwind tour on Friday and in April the ever wonderful Desiree Holt stops by for her 100th release. That is cool.

So really, my what the? Wednesday isn't really that earth shattering, but it's actually pretty good by me. :)

And Don't Forget to Check out These Awesome Authors: Megan Slayer, Kealie Shay, Menagerie Authors, Jessica Jarman, Devon Rhodes, Ashley Ladd, Linda McMaken, Cheryl Dragon, Marianne Arkins, Anne Rainey, KA Mitchell, Mychael Black, and Jenika Snow!

News!! I'm So Excited and I Just Can't Hide It!

News!! If you've read my blog for any length of time, then you'd know I've always got a couple (fifteen) irons in the fire. I can't help it. I like being busy. I've also been sitting on this news for about a week. I wanted to conclude the tour before I unleased the news!

So what is this news?

I turned in the sub for Please Remember Me and a sub entitled What Might Have Been. I am happy to say, both titles have been contracted by Total-E-Bound Publishing. I am thrilled. Please Remember Me is near and dear to my heart because I got to incorporate one of my dearly departed friends, a woman named Judi, into the story. She passed away a couple of years ago, but my experiences as her friend helped shape the story. Also, What Might Have Been
is special because it's how I'd envision going back to GHS for the fifteen year reunion. Hey, a girl can dream that she's got a sexy cover model to serve as arm candy.

The blog tour for Careless Whisper has just concluded and I have to say, based on the feedback, I'm feeling really great about the story and I'm psyched to start the story to follow it Heart Like Mine.

I'm hoping to finish and submit my race-themed story very soon. I love my racing and I love romance novels, so to be able to synthesize the two is awesome for me.

Friday Flirts

I'm sitting here jamming to old Billy Joel tunes and working on revisions/edits/WIP's... Yeah, I'm a busy girl. Megan came over for a while to work on her WIP. I looked it over and I think once she gets this particular pivotal scene done, she'll be pretty good to go. Me? Not so much. I chattered with C for a while, too. She teased me about having one too many irons in the fire and setting the bar a bit high. Duh. I don't know what to do with myself if the bar isn't way over my head and more or less out of reach. Story of my life.

In the planning stages:
Rhett's part of You'll Think of Me. He's still in the rough stages. I mean, I know what he wants to do, but I want to put him in a situation he thinks he can't handle. I mentioned something to him about twins. He was receptive...I don't think he has any idea *how* I want him to end up with said twins. Hee hee.

In the works:
Still chugging away on the NASCAR story. I have the lawyerly parts done and right. The rest needs to come into focus.

In revision:
I have two here. I sent What Might Have Been to the CP, got it back and have one scene to finish. I *think* I have a handle on it, but as I know all too well, my having a handle on things isn't always what I think it is.
Also, I'm working hard on the resub. I spoke about that one yesterday, so not much to report as of right now. But hey, I feel a lot better about it than I did on Wednesday. Will it be the fresh, original, creative thing my editor expects? I have no freaking idea...and I'm scared it won't live up to standards.

In edits:
I should be getting the first round edits on Careless Whisper. I always get the feeling of dread knowing the edits are coming. Why? Cuz...I do. I dunno.

Releasing Monday:
Tangled Up releases from Total-E-Bound. Grab your copy!

Back to the grindstone, plus the song changed. Yes, I'm listening to a-ha and I like it.

Friday Flirts

I should be doing something other than watching old Ghost Adventures episodes on Netflix, but hey, everyone needs a stress reliever. Plus, I can blame Megan for getting me hooked on it. Darn her and her love of all things dark and strange.

So, Friday Flirts...

Please Remember Me is still sitting with the editor. I haven't heard anything and well, I'm kinda relieved. Odd? Maybe a little. I'm of the theory of no news is better than bad news. Of course, good news would be fantastic, but hey, there's a certain safety in not getting ye ole hopes up.

What Might Have Been came back from one CP. Waiting for it to come back from the other. Once in hand, I plan to work on it so I can sub it in February. (Yes, I am a masochist.)

Ever Fallen In Love is the NASCAR one. It had a different name, but since I've changed my decision as to which pub to sub it to, I felt the name wasn't right in it's prior form. Plus, I've got a lawyer aquaintence...I love that line from The Goodbye Girl...this lawyer friend is helping me deal with the legal parts of the story. I mean, I can't use a John Grisham tactic if I have no clue what I'm doing. I'd hate to show complete ignorance.

No rest for the wicked. I'm in the process of helping Megan get her MM story ready for submission as well. She's aiming for March. I hope things work out for her. She's worked really hard on her story.

Okay, enough for now. I've got stories to write and GA to turn off. Soon. Maybe.
