Ten Line Tuesday!
This is from a contemporary story aimed for somewhere. Who knows. One of these days I'd like to finish it. Grin. So enjoy!
Artists do it dirty.
He loved the poster on her wall. Such an odd item for the bedroom wall of an adult woman, but then again, he liked it, so maybe he was just as odd. Didn’t really matter. Once the woman caught him watching her, well, the game would be over.
Graig settled back into the easy chair he’d moved into his bedroom. He checked his watch once more. Eleven o’clock. Just about time for her to come into her bedroom.
He shouldn’t watch her. Shouldn’t be turned on by the sway of her hips as she shimmied out of her jeans. But damn. She moved like she knew he was there.
The light flicked on, bathing the room across the courtyard in warmth. Blood pounded in his veins and heat flooded his body. Any moment now.

Sunday Snog ~ Still the One
Though I'd share a little from my story from the Switch anthology. I love doing the snogs and was glad the internet is holding out long enough for me to post them. Yep, lots of wind and rain here and the internet is spotty. Fun times. Anyway, enjoy the snog!
She’ll be his salvation if he’s willing to switch.
Being stressed out sucks, especially when you’re in charge of a team. Just ask Eric Trask. The pit crew of the Fifty-Four truck team depends on him. The stress of keeping things running smoothly is wearing Eric down. What’s a guy to do to get a little relief?
Janine Walters knows exactly what Eric’s up against. She’s the public relations face of the team. Pressure is all a part of the job. Her outlet for stress just happens to be wielding a crop.
Can Eric embrace her methods for stress relief or will her suggestion tear their fragile relationship apart?
Reader Advisory: This book Contains the use of a crop, spanking, a little bondage, a little pegging, some toys and a woman who knows how to use a strap on to pleasure her man.
Publisher's Note: This story has been previously released as part of the Switch anthology by Total-E-Bound
Available here!
And now for that snog!
“Put the bags in the trunk.” She stood tall and slid the scarf from around her throat. “I need you to do something for me.”
“I liked the scarf where it was. Might want to use it on you later.” He slammed the trunk lid. “I can see the wheels turning in your head. What are you thinking?”
“Wrists.” Curt, brusque and to the point. “Now.”
Eric stared at her for a moment, his mouth opening and closing with no sound coming out. His gaze darted around, but he offered his hands.
“Good boy.” Her hunch had paid off. His inner submissive wanted to play, and had won out against his alpha needs. She wrapped the silk around his wrists. “You please me.”
“Janine, what are you doing? I wanted to do this to you, not me.” His voice dropped to a whisper. “I please you? Does that mean you think I’m sexy?”
She threaded her arms around his neck, rubbing her groin over his bound hands. “I,” she said between kisses, “am in control of what we do.” She feasted on his lips, licking his bottom lip and swiping her tongue over his teeth. The tastes of mint and cola exploded on her tongue. She ground against him, pleasuring herself against his thick fingers. “And I want to do you right here, right now, sexy man.”

It's Wicked After Dark!!
It's wicked after dark and keeping with the theme, I'm going to share a snippet from my latest release, Miss Me Baby. There's also a prize up for grabs here. Oh yeah! I'm giving away a bracelet at the end of the hop!
You know you want to win. So what do you have to do? Easy. I've got a question at the end of the post. You leave your answer, your name and your email in the comments. Done! Then you're entered. So go forth and read!
Available here!
Say you’ll haunt me, since I’ll never stop loving you.
Felicity Black never quite understood love. She worked her assets to get what she wanted and didn’t care who got in the way. Until she met John. He saw past her superficial self to the woman inside. Death separated her from John before she could tell him how she truly felt. Now she’s got her chance...just not in the way she expected.
John wanted Felicity to haunt him. She had been the only woman to stir not only his heart but his soul as well. But the woman claiming to be his lost love can’t be her... Felicity was dead. He has to decide whether to trust his gut or walk away from a new start.
Can a second chance at a first impression lead to love or a lifetime of heartbreak?
Reader Advisory: This story contains an out-of-body experience, voyeurism, spanking, rough sex, masturbation, and a chance for love to strike twice.
And now for that excerpt!
“John?”
He jerked upright and glanced around the bar. The dream wasn’t a dream any longer. He’d heard his name. The last time he’d checked, the bar had been empty. Who’d said his name?
“Hello, John.”
A tingle shot straight through his brain. He knew the voice. Felicity. He had to be dreaming again, but he wasn’t sleeping. A hand gripped his. He turned to his left. The woman smiled and a lock of pale blonde hair slid over her eyes. “I’ve missed you, John.”
“Lisa? I thought you went home early last night. Everything okay?” John scrubbed both hands over his face. “You look like you saw a ghost. I know I feel a little strange.”
“I’ve got one hell of a story to tell you.”
“Oh yeah?” He stood and stretched, not ready to look at her. He could’ve sworn he heard Felicity’s voice. “I’m all ears. Did you finally hook up with that guy you met last night? He seemed really in to you. What was his name? Eddie? Carl?”
“Wow, okay. This will be a little harder to explain especially since I have no idea who you’re talking about.” She stepped back and opened her hands. “John, I’m not really Lisa.”
He snorted and broke into laughter, finally looking at her. “Okay, what’s the gag? You’ve worked for me for almost a year. Are you going to tell me your name is Kim Kardashian or something and you’re researching a role?”
“I got a second chance.”
Question:
Who is talking to John?
Remember, leave your name, your email and your answer in the comments. If you don't, I can't add your name to the hopper! So comment away. And so you can keep hopping when you're done, here's the linky list!

Ten Line Tuesday on Wednesday
I wanted to post this yesterday, but there was a lot going on so I saved it for today. Grin. Miss Me Baby came out this week, so here's ten lines. Enjoy!
"She didn’t go into the water alone. She had help."
John stared at the flat line on the computer screen and rubbed his chin. He couldn’t believe his ears. The last night he’d seen Felicity, she hadn’t been near the lake. Eight years’ time made more than the memory muddy. Some days he could barely remember her face. Other times, his heart ached like she’d just passed.
He focused on the bad day eight years in the past. The day she’d died. She’d hated water-boating, swimming... Being in water scared her to death. But the pulsating bars on the sound programme accompanied by the words in the dialogue box didn’t lie-someone had called the police tip line.
Someone wanted him to pay for her death. Didn’t the caller realise John had paid for losing Felicity every day since she’d passed?
"Can you play it again? I thought the person sounded familiar, but now I’m not sure."

Paradise Hops by Liz Crowe
Today I'd like to welcome my friend Liz Crowe. She's showcasing her book, Paradise Hops. Be sure to comment on the post. Why? Liz will be awarding a "swag pack" from her brewery, the Wolverine State Brewing Co including 2 tee shirts, a pint glass, a hat and a certificate for a free growler fill plus $15 Amazon GC to a randomly drawn commenter during the tour. Now how cool is that? Want to keep following her tour for more chances to win? Click here or on the banner!
Now a little bit more about the book!
Paradise Hops By Liz Crowe
A brutal attack left Lori Brockton convinced she was damaged goods. By the time she emerges from hiding two years later, ready to run her family's famous brewery, she's determined to be independent--never rely on anyone ever again. Nearly a year of working in every corner of Brockton Brewing Company, from warehouse to pub, front office to kitchen, teaches her all she needs to know about the business.
Then, she comes face-to-face with masculine perfection in a suit and her world is rocked in more ways than one. Garret Hunter is the new Brockton business manager who takes one look at the beautiful, sad young woman and his entire existence coalesces around winning her heart.
But standing between Garrett and what he believes is his true love, is a six-feet six-inch blond-haired bad boy brewer.
Eli Buchannan is a craft beer rock star, recently hired by Brockton to drag the company into the 21st century. He brings innovation and attitude plus a prima donna ladies man reputation. But he's sworn off anything resembling commitment, personal or professional, after getting burned at his last job on both fronts.
Garret Hunter is “The Perfect Man” -- handsome, successful, stable, eager to settle down. Eli Buchannan... is not. Compelling, smoking hot, creative and elusive, he represents everything Lori Brockton should avoid. But just as she makes a difficult choice, a drastic life-changing shift occurs, and nothing is ever the same again.
And now an excerpt for your reading pleasure!
Lori smiled as the classical music rolled around in the brewery space, watched the brewery staff scurry around, efficient, happy, in spite of the scowling presence of the brew master. They’d all learned so much from him. He’d instilled a sense of pride, a ton of new processes and systems and generally made the whole place run better.
She ignored him for another hour, busying herself with cleaning, then running the filter for a new batch of dark lager. When a hand touched her arm she jumped, and the safety glasses slid down her nose. “What?” Eli gestured for her to follow him out of the cooler. She did so, all the way into the office at the back, her scalp tingling at the memory of their one encounter there. His broad shoulders were tense and his face radiated anger when he turned to her.

BlissKiss After Dark!
I love the fancy BlisseKiss weeks and I couldn't wait for BlisseKiss After Dark! Woo hoo! For this snog, I'm featuring Miss Me Baby. I love a good ghost story and Felicity is a naughty ghost!
Available here!
Here's the Kiss! Leave a comment to be added into the hopper for a pdf from my backlist!
“We needed this chance to find out if what we had was meant to be.”
“This…us… It’s going to take time.” He threaded his fingers with hers. Blood thumped in his ears and heat swirled through his body. Yes, Lisa stood before him, but more and more flashes of Felicity came to the forefront. “As much as I hate Keagan right now, he’s right. We don’t encourage inter-office dating.”
“He does like rules.” She bit her bottom lip. “But if you want me to convince you the rules are crap, I could stick very”—she closed the gap between them—“very close. I was never much of a good girl, and I hate being told what I can’t do, unless you’re offering to teach me a lesson. Want to—?”
He kissed the response from her mouth. He wasn’t even sure where the feral response had come from. Lisa had been his friend, but when Lis looked up at him with those grey eyes and that gravelly purr, sheer instinct took over. He inched her backwards against the wall and crushed his groin against her. The taste of mint lingered in her kiss and her scent toyed with the rational parts of his brain. She brought out his need to dominate her, to feel her surrounding him.
Lis broke the kiss first. She gasped for air. “You know how to scramble my brain.” She rested her forehead against his. Her voice dropped to a husky octave. “This means we’re going to break a few more rules. I like it.”
Don't forget. Leave your name, email and a comment to be entered into the drawing! Good luck!

The end of the book or the start of a new chapter? Berto thought he’d lost a part of himself when his prized miniature bull terrier passed. Thankfully he’s had his partner Remi to help him grieve. Berto’s convinced one day he’ll be ready to open his heart and adopt another pet.
Some day.
Remi has other ideas. He knows Berto’s hurting and Remi wants to soothe the pain in the best way he knows how.
But will his plan backfire before he gets started?

Courtesy of: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File%3ADave_Zastudil_large.jpg
This comes from the Cincy-Cleveland game, and though I'm a Cincy fan, these are funny. :-)
"(Dalton) finding his tight end made the difference..."
"(Weedon) went against the ego to force the ball in..."
And lastly...
"The kicker banged one in deep..."
I can't make this stuff up. Just sayin'.

Ten Line Tuesday!
Ten lines from my latest release, in the Switch Anthology, Still the One. Enjoy!
“Thank you, babe.” He reached for her. “I need to touch you.”
“Lie down.” She stepped out of the dress and kicked the discarded clothing out of the way. She tugged each finger of the glove, then yanked the silken gloves down her arms. Wearing nothing but the boots, she crawled up his body. “Remember your place.”
He dropped his hands. Janine rose to her knees and settled right behind his cock, then grabbed a condom from the nightstand. She wrapped her fingers around his dick, pumping him. He shuddered and bucked his hips. The first tremors of orgasm started low in his belly.
“Close, aren’t you?” Her hair spilled over her shoulders and bobbed with every movement. Janine massaged his balls and rolled the condom down his cock. “I want you to fuck me without touching me.”
No touching?

Sunday Snog ~ Over My Head!
Thanks to Victoria for doing this! Love the snogs! Here's mine:
Over My Head
Total-E-Bound
Contemp, suspense/mystery, action/adventure

Novella
What happens when two opposites realise they have more in common than expected?
I’m a dancer…and a damn good one. I work at the Silver Steel Gentlemen’s Club. My hard and fast rule? No freebies and no office dating. Except for Slade. Hard, fast, slow, gentle...I don’t care. I’ll take him any way possible. But he’s not that into me.
Or so she thinks. I’m a bouncer at the Silver Steel. Astra doesn’t realise I see her—I can’t help myself. She captivates me every time she’s on the stage. I want her, but I have a...problem. I’m not at the Steel to pick up chicks or even work the room. I’m there to stop the influx of drugs into the community. Yeah, I’m a cop. But if the job means sampling the dancers... Well, as long as I keep my heart out of it, I’ll be fine.
I hope.
Reader Advisory: This book has a kick ass hero, a dancer with all the right moves, hot sex, a little mutual anal play for good measure and mention of drug use.
And here's my snog!
Fear? Hesitation? Slade palmed his gun in his coat pocket. Better to be safe than sorry. Astra dropped her bag on the massive bed and turned. Her hair fluttered about her shoulders. Had it been a different situation, he’d have yanked her into his arms for a thorough fucking.
Her lips parted as she closed the distance between them. She shrugged out of her jacket and dumped the discarded garment onto the floor. Her T-shirt, torn at the collar, slipped off one creamy shoulder. Astra placed her hands on his shoulders and backed him against the hotel room door.
“I’ve wanted you since the moment I saw you,” she murmured, her mouth a whisper away from his. “Make me feel alive.”
He didn’t have time to process her words before she pressed against him, chest to breast, mons to groin, and face to face. She licked her lips and placed an open-mouthed kiss to his lips.
Holy hell, he’d waited for this moment. He turned her around, pressing her back against the door and wrapped her legs around his waist. He splayed his hands on her ass. If they were going to fuck, it sure as hell wasn’t going to be up against some cold door. He wanted her in the bed, mussed sheets surrounding her.
Slade sucked her bottom lip into his mouth, thrilled when she groaned. One of her small hands threaded into his hair, tugging at the strands. Fuck. His cock throbbed. He needed her naked. Now. His legs connected with the edge of the bed, but instead of placing her on the mattress with grace, he tumbled down on top of her.
Astra laughed. She fucking laughed as he stood back up and struggled out of his coat. The vixen. “Better not be taunting me, little girl.” He tossed the tangled mass of coat onto the floor somewhere behind him. “I’m not one of those guys from the club.”
“Good."

This is from the Jets/Texans battle and yes, it sounds fine in context, but if you weren't looking up....
"How about that for pocket toughness? It's amazing that he has that kind of poise and accuracy under that kind of fire..."
I honestly imagined an orgy and one person in the middle. Yes, my mind went there. It did.
And now for a NASCAR addition because I didn't post yesterday. And this is from the Talladega race.
"Fast and loose--just the way they like it"

Hot in Handcuffs!
Handcuffs, a little slap and tickle...oh, and a hot hunk. Yeah, those are some of my favorite things. And because this is the Hot in Handcuffs Blog Hop, I'm bringing along one of my favorite stories. There aren't handcuffs in it, but there is a nice bit of BDSM for your enjoyment. The Phantom of the Opera. I stuck to the text Leroux wrote, but yes indeed, it gets hot. I thought I'd share a bit with you. Keep reading because at the end is a chance for you to snag a story from my backlist. Now, on to the book!
The Classics Exposed…
A chance sighting at the Opera, fated love, and three lives in turmoil.
One man pledges to own her, while another wants her heart. The Opera sets the stage for romance and intrigue. In the catacombs below the building lives a man rife with sorrow and passion. The Phantom. But he’s not content to live alone. He wants to possess the one woman who can set him free.
His Christine.
Viscount Raoul de Chagny doesn’t believe the rumours of a Ghost living below the Opera. He only has eyes for Christine, his childhood friend and first love. Together they embark on a sensual journey of discovery and fiery desire.
But she can only have one man. Will love raise her up or tear their world apart?
Available here!
Read the snippet and answer the question!
“I’m not educated in the way to love a man.” Her chest heaved with each breath. “Will you teach me? I want to be yours, if for only a short time. I want you to show me how much you love me. Teach me?”
“Yes, my love.” He held out his hand to her. Christine twisted her fingers with his and eased onto his lap. Her eyes widened.
“What are you asking of me?”
“Your submission. Allow me to direct you as if I were the composer of one of your songs. Do you trust me?” Raoul smoothed a lock of her hair between his fingers. She smelt of flowers, a most intoxicating scent. Although she trembled in his arms, she met him for a kiss. Christine whimpered. Damn the blanket and the layers of fabric between them. He longed to feel her body next to his. He parted her robe and shoved the garment from her shoulders, leaving her in her nightgown. He swiped his tongue along her bottom lip and palmed her breast.
“Raoul,” she gasped, but didn’t swat him away. “I trust you.”
“Let me make you feel the magic.”
Christine stared at him a moment. “What do you want me to do?”
“Give me what I want. Can you do that?” He unbuttoned the top button on her nightgown. “Show me the depths of your soul.”
“I can.” She whipped her nightgown up over her head, exposing her body to him. Her rosy nipples peaked and the flush spread across her entire chest.
Raoul shrugged out of his nightshirt and tugged her back onto his lap. Skin to skin, mouth to mouth, he lost himself in her sweetness. His desire to conquer her took over. Christine slid her hands up his chest and twined them behind his head.
“Do you still wish to learn? This will not be what you expect.”
“I do.”
And now for that question!
What does Raoul want to direct her as?

Finding Time to Write with Jessica Subject
Thank you so much, Wendi, for having me on your blog! It’s been an
exciting month for me with two releases. And that brings me to my topic for
today, finding time to write.
I have two kids, and up until last month, there was always at least one
of them home with me as I wrote my stories. Plus, I have another job which
occupies my time as well. All of that, plus regular, everyday activities and
housework competed for time that I could be writing. In September though, with
the kids back as school, and my other job requiring less of my time, I thought
I’d have more minutes in the day to write. I was wrong.
With the kids gone, I feel lost. I know I should be doing things, but my
schedule has changed so drastically, and I’m still trying to get used to it.
And with two releases in September, I had a lot of promo to do through blog
posts, guest blogs, blog tours, blog hops, advertising, and so much more.
This month, things have calmed down a bit. I’m finding more time to
write, and settling into my schedule. I’m still trying to balance everything,
but I think I’m doing better.
So, what about you? How do you manage your time? Do
you have to have everything scheduled, or are you more laissez-faire?
In one of my September releases, Sudden
Breakaway, Jared has the opposite problem. He has less time after becoming
guardian of his niece and nephew.
Here’s an excerpt:
What have I done? Jared yanked Dylan off
the top of the fridge, holding him under his arm as the kid tried to wiggle
free. “Superman can fly. You can’t. If you jump from that high, you’re going to
get hurt.”
Once the boy stopped squirming,
Jared set him down and rushed over to his niece, who had decided to scribble on
his white cell phone with a marker. “Madison, I know you love everything pink,
but my phone does not need a makeover.”
He grabbed the marker and she
squealed, escaping under the table and down the hall clutching his phone. His
morning had just begun. He couldn’t even take a leak without the kids finding
some kind of trouble. Yes, they went to daycare while he worked, but beyond the
hours of nine to five, they were all his, and on weekends, he had no pardon.
Why on Earth had he thought he could raise two preschoolers on his own?
The doorbell rang.
He glanced down the hall toward
the bedrooms, where an ominous silence reigned. With the children quiet, they
had to be plotting their next mission to destroy his sanity. Or perhaps they’d
already started. Shrugging, he headed for the door, risking a future disaster
to see who stood on his porch.
Dylan came charging at him, his
dark eyes wide, reminding him of his sister when she was a child. “Someone’s at
the door. Who is it, Uncle Jared?”
The boy skidded straight across
the slippery linoleum, his body slamming into Jared’s knees.
Jared stumbled back, trying to
regain his balance, and grasped the doorknob. The latch clicked open. Losing
his footing again, he stumbled to the floor, his nephew landing on top of him.
Groaning, he glanced up at the woman standing above him; his former commander’s
wife. “Can I help you, Mrs. Collins?
She lifted Dylan and balanced him
on her hip. “From the look of things, I think I can help you.” Slipping off her
shoes, she lined them on the mat beside the rest of the footwear and continued
into the house. “I’m giving you the day off.”
What? He’d dreamed about
time to himself since the day after his niece and nephew had arrived, but had
accepted that would never happen. Not until the preschoolers were old enough to
stay on their own, anyway.
He hopped to his feet, shut the
door, and followed them into the living room. Madison had materialized out of
nowhere, to join her brother, the pair of them sitting on either side of Mrs.
Collins, their lopsided halos balancing atop their horns. Why couldn’t they sit
as still when no one else was around?
Slumping onto a chair, he leaned
back and sighed. “How do you do it? How do you make them turn off?”
She chuckled. “I’m a guest. Trust
me when I say kids always behave better around people they don’t see every day.
Back to why I’m here. My daughter says every time she sees you grocery
shopping, you look ready to explode.”
He didn’t remember seeing the
commander’s teenage daughter, but any out-of-the-house excursions with the kids
resulted in him trying to get back home as soon as possible. He tried to avoid
running into anyone he knew. “I’m still getting used to having Madison and
Dylan here. It’s been quite a change.”
The woman wrapped an arm around
each child and snuggled them closer to her. “I always found I was a better
mother when I had time away from my kids. I came back to them with a new focus
and less stressed. But I had family around to take them here and there. Since
you don’t, I’m here to give you a break.”
Sudden Breakaway
Dressed in her black designer suit, Paige Brown recruits men and
women for the Space Service. After the end of her marriage, and several failed
recruiting missions, she yearns to find a way out of her lifelong contract to
live a normal life. To find love again.
Jared Barnes’s life had been flipped upside down by two little kids.
When his former Commander’s wife shows up to give him a reprieve, he jumps at
the chance for a break, and to visit his former squad. But it is not his
buddies he meets in the private suite at the Washington Capitals game, instead
a woman who has been the star of all of his recent fantasies, fulfills his
wildest dreams except the one that binds his heart.
Has Madame Eve made a mistake or can two lonely hearts overcome
seemingly insurmountable obstacles?

Virginia Nelson's Taking Control...of the Blog!!
Virginia
Nelson
When she got voted off "Find Your Hubby," a
reality tv gameshow, Mellie gave up on finding love.
In all the wrong
places...
Everyone knows that you are more likely to get hit by
lightning than find a husband once you're 40. Using the last of her winnings in
a spur of the moment fling, she pays for a matchmaking service that offers you
the perfect person-For One Night Only.
Can you buy passion?
When the 'perfect person' they find her is a woman, she first
questions their selection service...Then her own desires.
About the Author:
Virginia Nelson spends her days chasing three very active
kids around. When she is not doing this,
or plotting taking over the world, she likes to write, play in the mud, drive
far too fast and scream at inanimate objects.
She can often be found listening to music that is far too loud and
typing her next fantastic tale of blood, sex and random acts of
ineptitude. Romance, in Ms. Nelson's
opinion, is not about riding off into the sunset on the back of a horse with
the knight in shining armor- it is about riding the dragon. If the knight can keep up… well, that is
love.
Excerpt:
"Maybe dancing wasn't the best idea."
I knew it. She doesn't find me attractive. Damn it.
Not sure why the thought bothered her so, she shrugged and
followed Alex out the front doors of the restaurant. The beach, painted in hues
of violet and blue, emitted a whispering murmur of surf and night. Everything
smelled fresh and alive, the air full of excitement.
Or maybe she reacted to the pulsing energy she longed to
find an outlet for.
Going through a mental tally of reasons her date-her paid
date-wouldn't like her. From the extra ten pounds she could never lose, to her
lack of conversational skills, caused mostly by nerves, there were a thousand
possible reasons Alex might not find her attractive.
Lost in thought, she wobbled when Alex spun her, pinned her
to a wall, and closed hot lips over her own. Opening her mouth to seek out the
other woman's tongue, she compared it to kissing a man. Similar, but at the
same time, very different-softer, sweeter tasting. Unbelievably erotic.
Fire.
The word blazed in her mind as Alex's body pressed hers
against the wall, her lips both seducing and demanding response. Alex's tongue
slid into the recesses of her mouth as if it belonged there, while she caught
the hair at Mellie's nape and yanked her head to the side. Almost too much…but
added up to just what she wanted.
The kiss took her breath away.
She couldn't think. So good. So right, somehow.
And then she surfaced, gasping, as Alex stepped back, licked
her lips, and stuffed her hands in her pockets. Her mouth quirked into a cocky
grin. "Been wanting to do that all night."
Mellie nodded, lifting one hand to her throat, fingertips
pressing on the hyper-aware flesh. Swallowing, she tried to determine what she
thought of the experience.
"Sorry. I mean, if I took you by surprise or
whatever."
Mellie nodded again. Her body a furnace, need welled up like
a fist to punch her in the gut. Possibilities stretched out, and she hungered
to taste more-wanted to touch and be touched.
"Uh, so…if it made you uncomfortable…?"
She did not want to discuss it.
Live each day like it is your last.
Catching Alex's wrist, she tugged her closer and merged
their mouths.

Sunday Snog!
This week's snog comes from an upcoming release, Until the Night. I really enjoy this story and it's a first for me. It's a menage with four partners. Talk about a lot of body parts! I hope you enjoy this taste of the story as much as I enjoyed writing the entire tale. Grin.
“Sorry.”
“Don’t be.” He stepped into her apartment and closed the door. “You’re paler than normal.” Kendall put both hands up. “I know. Vampires are pale. But this isn’t like you.” He curled his fingers under her chin. “What can I do?”
Her heart hammered. What could he do? Get naked and take her on the couch, then offer his neck, that’s what he could do. Help her slake her need for sustenance and sex then confess he liked her for more than a friend.
Like that would happen. He had a girlfriend, last time she’d checked.
“Just tired.”
“I see that. When did you sleep last?”
“I haven’t.”
“Or fed, either.”
“It’s been a while.”
“Then I’ve got just what you need—a hot and hunky male to share your bed.” His eyebrows bobbed. “Like someone tall, blond and handsome who has lots of blood he’s willing to part with in the name of rescue.”
She laughed despite her tears. “Don’t tell me you’re applying. That’s one of the most horrible come-on lines I’ve heard.”
Kendall cupped her jaw in both hands. Hunger shone amongst the green and blue flecks in his eyes. He worked the muscle in his jaw and the light caught the subtle colour changes of brown and gold in the scruff on his cheeks. She gulped to catch the breath she didn’t need. No heartbeat meant oxygen didn’t help her body like it had when she’d been alive. God, she wanted to be amongst the living and for things would be normal again.
“Would you rather I be blunt?” He kissed the tip of her nose. “I want you. I don’t care if you’re a vampire or if you have those two guys who hang out over here. You infiltrate my thoughts and make me think about you when you’re not in the same room.”
“Me?”

Five Sentence Friday ~ Play to Him
tradigi / 123RF Stock Photo
This one is from my upcoming release, Play to Him! Here's a little bit about the book, then the five sentences!
'Play to Him' by Wendi Zwaduk
The key to her freedom is accepting his bonds.
Rhiannon Dubois set out to find her own path in life—with her music, her career and what she wants in the bedroom. No more giving in to get what she wants. She’s making her own rules.
Except with the billionaire playboy she can’t get out of her mind.
Sebastian Chastain knows Rhiannon better than she knows herself. Despite her best efforts to hide her need for submission behind her independent streak, she blossoms when she relinquishes control. He’s got the tools to jumpstart her career and he’s not stopping until she regains her spot in the limelight.
She puts herself in his masterful hands, but can he also convince her to offer her heart?
Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of bondage and submission, spanking, anal sex, use of toys for maximum pleasure, as well as a leash, collar and nipple clamps.
And now for those five sentences!
“I’ll punish you later. You want it too much.” Pride welled in his heart. “Look at me, Kitten. I want to see your face when I give you this present.”

Football Quote of the Week
Courtesy of: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File%3ADave_Zastudil_large.jpg
This comes from the Packers game this past week, but I'm telling you...it's bad when taken out of context.
"Featured two tight ends up the middle."
Now that just sounds like a tag line to a porn. Just sayin'.

From the Most Unexpected Places – Dellani Oakes
I'm sharing the blog today with my dear friend Dellani Oakes today. Read on, she's got lots of great things to say!
For an author, finding inspiration is a daily thing. It's amazing what will spark the imagination and send us into a writing frenzy. I once wrote a short story that was inspired by a mud puddle on a rainy day.
Conversations are often good for becoming inspired. Incidents at the post office, grocery store or driving my car have also sent me scurrying for a pen and paper. I want to write the idea down before it escapes.
My first novel, Indian Summer, was inspired by a visit to St. Augustine, Florida, when my eldest son was in the fourth grade. The walls and streets of the historic city whispered to me of stories waiting to be told. I found Gabriella's voice there and I listened as she told her tale.
Inspiration for The Ninja Tattoo came while I was driving. I'd dropped my son off at a friend's house on Riverside Drive in New Smyrna Beach. I decided to enjoy the more scenic drive down the posh street rather than taking, far less striking, US-1. The sun's rays glittered in silver and gold slashes across the water. I enjoyed the scenery as I headed south, towards home.
I'd just passed the police station when I became aware of several other vehicles on the street. Up until that point, I'd been virtually alone. Somewhere, I'd picked up a convoy, of sorts. There were three motorcycles, a pickup truck and a Jeep. The truck was first, then me and finally the Jeep. Each of us had a motorcycle behind. The strange configuration seemed too planned to me. How much of a coincidence could it be?
As an author, I find myself trying to find reasons for things. I hear or see something strange, my mind goes into high gear playing “let's figure it out”. I was still puzzling over this odd drive when the biker ahead of me signaled with his left hand. I thought he was telling me that he was turning right onto SR-442, but he wasn't. The Jeep turned, followed by one motorcycle. The man ahead of me didn't turn. He continued down the road after the truck.
At the next turn-off, where Riverside Drive ends and meets with US-1, we all stopped for a red light. The man ahead of me signaled again. The guy behind me nodded. When the light changed, the truck turned right, the lead biker followed. I turned left and the other guy followed me. He continued to shadow me as I drove towards home. By this time, I was ready to turn around and drive back to the police station and see if he followed me. I decided to turn onto my road without signaling. If he followed me, I planned to stop at a house of a police officer, about a block down the road.
The motorcycle didn't follow me, but I couldn't shake the oddity of the incident. It stuck in my mind so much, I had to write it down. After telling my husband about it later, the idea cemented that this could have been something much more than it appeared on the surface. My writer's brain kicked in and I started to speculate – What if this wasn't a coincidence? What if there was something more involved? What if I had inadvertently stumbled into something very dangerous?
As it was the end of October, I kept the idea percolating for a week or so, promising myself that I would use this idea as my NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) book. From that bizarre happenstance, The Ninja Tattoo was born. For Teague, the hero, this odd happenstance turns into something deadly. Curious? You'll have to read the book to find out.

Dellani Oakes thinks of herself as a Florida author, though she's lived all over the United States. She claims Florida since she's lived there longer than anywhere else and this is where she started to write in earnest.
Dellani has two other books published: Indian Summer © 2008 and Lone Wolf © 2010 Both novels are from Second Wind Publishing. The Ninja Tattoo is her first e-book publication with Tirgearr Publishing. Look for the sequel to Lone Wolf, Shakazhan, coming later this fall from Second Wind. Dellani has also contributed to Novel Writing Tips and Techniques , Love is on the Wind and Change is in the Wind – all from Second Wind Publishing.
Also, look for Shakazhan, the second book in the Lone Wolf series, as well as Dellani's contribution to Second Helpings, a Second Wind recipe book & anthology due out in November and Rubicon Ranch: Necropieces, a collaborative novel by the authors of Second Wind.

Ten Line Tuesday ~ WIP Madness!!
I'm using a WIP that's been rolling around because some of my other chatty characters went silent. Imagine that. Grin. So enjoy these ten lines and I'll get moving on finishing the story!
Shannon adjusted the lens on her camera and scratched the wispy hairs at the back of her neck. This had better be worth it. The model still hadn’t emerged from the dressing room. She rolled her eyes and tapped her foot.
“Not out yet?” Professor Sinclair said from over her shoulder.
Shannon suppressed the whimper. Professor Dreamy aka Sinclair could talk to her any day. One word spoke in his gravelly tone and every cell in her body quivered. She’d taken all the course offerings he taught, even when her fine arts degree didn’t call for so many photography classes.
“Children.” He squeezed her shoulder. “I’m glad you were on time. You were the only person I had in mind for this shoot.”

Monday Moans ~ Miss Me Baby
arekmalang / 123RF Stock Photo
My featured moan today is from Miss Me Baby. Felicity really wanted her story told and well, I couldn't say no. Here's the moan!
Available here~
And here's the moan!!
She smoothed both hands up his chest and leant back in his arms. Felicity arched back over his forearms, giving him a delicious view of her breasts. She grabbed his shirt and slid up his body. “You should be naked. I want you.”
Hell, yeah. John untangled himself from her and ripped his shirt up over his head. He snorted. Getting naked in a dream always went so much smoother than in real life. He tossed the shirt out of sight and scooped her back into his arms.
“You’re wearing too much now, Sweets.”
Felicity snapped her fingers. The thin tank and jeans she’d been wearing disappeared, leaving her in nothing but a thong. “You were saying?”
John yanked her tight against him and raked his nails down her chest. Felicity shivered and leaned into his touch. She moved his palm to her breast.
“Pinch it.”
John rolled her nipple between his index finger and thumb. Felicity moaned and caressed the bulge in his pants. She rolled her hips and shifted her damp pussy over his thigh. “John, fuck me.” She clenched her teeth and tilted her head back. “So good. Harder. Mark me. Fuck.”
Holy hell. If she kept up grinding on him and talking dirty, he’d come in his pants. He glanced around the space they were in. Four walls and a bed. Perfect…if he had any idea where the room was located. He mentally shrugged and walked to the bed with her in his arms.
“Lay down.”
