Sunday Snog!

This week's snog comes from an upcoming release, Until the Night. I really enjoy this story and it's a first for me. It's a menage with four partners. Talk about a lot of body parts! I hope you enjoy this taste of the story as much as I enjoyed writing the entire tale. Grin.

“Sorry.”

“Don’t be.” He stepped into her apartment and closed the door. “You’re paler than normal.” Kendall put both hands up. “I know. Vampires are pale. But this isn’t like you.” He curled his fingers under her chin. “What can I do?”

Her heart hammered. What could he do? Get naked and take her on the couch, then offer his neck, that’s what he could do. Help her slake her need for sustenance and sex then confess he liked her for more than a friend.

Like that would happen. He had a girlfriend, last time she’d checked.

“Just tired.”

“I see that. When did you sleep last?”

“I haven’t.”

“Or fed, either.”

“It’s been a while.”

“Then I’ve got just what you need—a hot and hunky male to share your bed.” His eyebrows bobbed. “Like someone tall, blond and handsome who has lots of blood he’s willing to part with in the name of rescue.”

She laughed despite her tears. “Don’t tell me you’re applying. That’s one of the most horrible come-on lines I’ve heard.”

Kendall cupped her jaw in both hands. Hunger shone amongst the green and blue flecks in his eyes. He worked the muscle in his jaw and the light caught the subtle colour changes of brown and gold in the scruff on his cheeks. She gulped to catch the breath she didn’t need. No heartbeat meant oxygen didn’t help her body like it had when she’d been alive. God, she wanted to be amongst the living and for things would be normal again.

“Would you rather I be blunt?” He kissed the tip of her nose. “I want you. I don’t care if you’re a vampire or if you have those two guys who hang out over here. You infiltrate my thoughts and make me think about you when you’re not in the same room.”

“Me?”

WIP Wednesdays

It's time for the WIPs. What's in the works. Grin.

I got to take a ride on the Clandestine Classics train and did my take on The Phantom of the Opera. Kinky. It's finally in and in line edits so I can talk about it.

I've got another super secret project to complete and since it's ALMOST there, I'm a happy girl. Let's just say there are toys, a flogger, a crop and a sex table involved. Grin.

Until the Night, the follow up to My Immortal has been contracted by Total-E-Bound. Should be out in February-ish. Just in time for Valentine's Day. Gypsy, Kendall, Todd, AND Allan. Yeah, it gets crazy in there!!!

I've still got the same should-be done books in the pile waiting patiently. Unless Flash sends me a plot bunny--which is very possible. Today is Wednesday. Oh well. Back to the bat cave. :-)

Five Sentence Friday~

Hmm... What do we have... flipping through the WIP... five saucy sentences...

This might work. Yes, I think it will. Enjoy!!!

“No.” Allan massaged his temple, then grabbed his phone. “I’m not in the mood.” He punched the buttons. “Not in the least.”

Monday Moans ~ Allan O'Sullivan

I've lived a long time. I've loved enough people to know who I truly care about. So why do certain people drive me to the brink of insanity?

My name is Allan O'Sullivan. I've put up with a lot. I fought in the American Civil War. I've been hungry, tired, soaked to the bone. I can deal with a lot. There's one thing, well, no, one person I just can't...understand how to relate to.

She drives me to the edge. It's like everything is a game to her and nothing's serious. I try to explain things and she just blows it off.

Even Todd coddles her. He doesn't put up with anything from anyone. It's like he enjoys her spontaneity.

Am I the one who doesn't belong? He's my mate. The frustration I feel isn't wrong, is it? I don't know if I want to share him, but she seems to be in every last part of our lives--well, except the sex. So far that's not been a problem.

Maybe I'm overreacting. I mean, she's just our friend and a twenty-something girl lost. She doesn't understand her needs as a vampire.

Sigh.

One of these days we'll get this all straightened out...well, what can be straightened out.

I guess my Monday Moan was more of a moan than a mooooaaaaaaan. Sorry.
