It's WIP day and yes, I'm a day late. It happens. Some of you know I write as Megan Slayer as well as writing as Wendi Zwaduk. Why? Because there are things that Megan can write and get away with that Wendi can't. Is that bad? Nope. I realize there are readers of Wendi who don't want the elements I have in my Megan work and that's cool. I don't mind. But Megan's been getting a lot more attention lately. It's not a bad thing, just the juggle of writing two names.

So what have I been up to under the Wendi brand? I'm still plotting out Arran/Sav/Mindy's story. It's complicated and I really need to sit down to plot it out correctly. There's a lot of "him" going on in this one.

Anything else? Yes. Although she's not talking really loud, Summer, from Please Remember Me has been chatting with me. She and Andrew Speedle had a thing and would like to sort the thing out or go their separate ways. So... I'm listening.

I used to think I was a powerhouse writer. Give me a short deadline and I'll knock that sucker out. These two stories are proving to me that the powerhouse isn't going full tilt. That's not a bad thing. :-) So enjoy and happy reading while I'm happily writing for you.

Arran and Mindy's story is slower going than I had planned. Always happens that way. I've got tons of characters chattering at one time and only so many can be heard at one time. I'm trying. I like their story so I'm willing to be patient. So not much to tell today, but hey, I'm getting there. :-)

It's Wednesday, the time of the week I realize I am a total slacker sometimes. I know what I want to write, but there's just not time in the day to do it. I've got characters shouting at me, CPs who want my attention and a pen name that's going gangbusters. I should be happpy - and I am, don't get me wrong - but I really want to get back to Arran and Mindy. I do. Here's to forcing myself to not have 15 irons in the fire and to focus on ONE thing. Grin. :-) I knew I could count on you!

I haven't had much on the writing front happening lately. Not for a lack of wanting to. Nope. I've wanted to. But I have an alter ego. Megan Slayer. Ever heard of her? Yeah, she's had a lot of super shorts that just keep busting out of her and well, I can't contain them. It's not a bad thing as the super shorts are super hot. So I can't complain.

Another thing is the amount of releases lately. I'm NOT complaining. Trust me. I'm thankful for each and every one of them. Smut in the City just came out. Switch is available for preorder if you’re a Total-E-Bound newsletter subscriber/VIP member. At the end of the month, One More Night, my foray into the 1Night Stand series drops from Decadent. Busy month. If you haven’t stopped over, head to the Cyber Launch Party. Yesterday was the party for Switch. I’m going to work on the story for Arran, Mindy and Sav next. There’s trouble in paradise. I’m kinda excited because Arran and Sav got the girl a little too easily and now they’re going to have to work for her. Grin. Always fun to torture characters.

Okay, time to head back to the bat cave. I’ve got stories that want to be written all of the sudden. Grin.

So what's happening on the WIP front...not much. Okay, that's not totally the truth. I mean, things are happening.

Rhiannon from Savin' Me got her story told. I had no idea she wanted a story and then she started talking. Grin. Love when that happens.

Arran and Mindy have started talking again, too. Apparently, and yes, Toni, this is for you, there's trouble in paradise, but not the trouble one might think. Grin. I won't disclose a lot, but let's just say there's jealousy there. I love torturing my characters.

Summer from Please Remember Me has come back. I had a lot of people asking me about Jude and Drew from When You're With Me and that got Summer talking. I'm excited. Now if Maggie would start talking, I'd be in like Flynn....

Oh well, back to the bat cave!

It's time for the WIPs. What's in the works. Grin.

I got to take a ride on the Clandestine Classics train and did my take on The Phantom of the Opera. Kinky. It's finally in and in line edits so I can talk about it.

I've got another super secret project to complete and since it's ALMOST there, I'm a happy girl. Let's just say there are toys, a flogger, a crop and a sex table involved. Grin.

Until the Night, the follow up to My Immortal has been contracted by Total-E-Bound. Should be out in February-ish. Just in time for Valentine's Day. Gypsy, Kendall, Todd, AND Allan. Yeah, it gets crazy in there!!!

I've still got the same should-be done books in the pile waiting patiently. Unless Flash sends me a plot bunny--which is very possible. Today is Wednesday. Oh well. Back to the bat cave. :-)

WIP time!! Woo hoo! Okay, so what's happening? I'm over my head in edits. Yep. I've had... four in the last two weeks? Sounds about right. One was a quick tweak to make it right for a submission. One was something I should've done in the first place. The other two are hardcore edits. Thankfully one is done and the other is started.

I'd been kicking around what to do with Gypsy for what seemed like forever. You remember, don't you? Yeah, well, she got her story. And it's DONE! Yep. Talk about being covert. I wasn't even trying to. Just got totally swept up in getting it done. And phew! She's getting more than she ever dreamed. Allan and Todd are there and so is Kendall. Yep, its the first MMFM I've ever written. It could be longer and I'd love to make a sequel to it. We'll see. But it's done and in editor's hands. Doesn't mean much, but it's off.

I'm debating taking a free read I wrote, making it longer and self pubbing it. Thoughts? Ideas? I've got cover art lined up. I mean, the story is started. Grin. Is it the way to go or am I totally off my rocker? Thoughts welcome.

Okay, time to go back to the bat cave. I've got a new story that needs working on and a very short deadline. Let me know what you think!

Flirty Friday!!

It's time for WIP Wednesday. This used to be a Friday Feature, but after the picture debacle...now it's on Wednesday. I've noticed either people are pulling ALL the photos they don't have rights to or they are leaving them. as much as possible I've tried to take what I don't have the rights to down. Why? Well, I don't want to get in trouble and I don't want to shortchange my fans. I want to have the blog available if the fans are looking for me. So I did it for you, my readers. Thanks.

So what's coming up for me? Well...

I turned in a submission, no, two, and I'm waiting to hear about them. Hopefully soon. I'd love to have news to share.

A while ago I started a short about a pair of teachers. I was a teacher for a while so it's a labor of love to write their story. I had a lot of things get in the way of getting anywhere with the story. I decided to write for an anthology, I worked on some Megan Slayer titles and I took part in the Clandestine Classics over at Total-E-Bound. So to be able to get back to them is kind of nice. They have a good chemistry and aren't so much they do I/don't I that some of my characters have been. I like it. Hopefully I'll have their bit written so I can share it with you.

Sunshine of Your Love came out Monday. Have you picked up your copy? I hope so. Do tell me what you think. It's up to the readers whether or not I go back and write Louisa's story. She's talking, but it's up to you whether it gets done. Let me know.

I'd like to get back to the world of Crawford. There's a couple of characters there, Summer being one of them, that has talked to me a couple of times, but not much. We'll see.

I'm tempted to go back to Arran, Mindy and Sav, too. They've got more to say and I want to let the chatter away.
