One touch from his lover and this marble will come to life.

Kratos, God of power and strength, has been imprisoned in pure white marble for more than two centuries. His lover can break the spell—if only his lover would find him.

“Do you have some … clothing?” Kratos waved his hand in front of Andy. “Something like you have?”
“I’ve got a change of clothes in my car. I don’t know if they’ll fit you, but anything is better than running around nude.”
“Nude can be freeing.” If he had his way, he’d strip the odd clothing from Andy’s body and learn every bit of him.
“Freeing, but it can get you arrested. Public nudity is against the law on campus.” Andy grinned. “Give me a minute or two. My car’s in the back lot.”
“Car?”
“Ah—it’s like a chariot, but without the horses.”
“Interesting.” He had so much to learn. He’d been able to observe some things, but not enough to venture out on his own. Andy would be invaluable, and not just as a guide.
Andy picked up keys. “Stay here. I’ll be right back.” He hurried out of the room, leaving Kratos to his thoughts.
Kratos glanced around the room. The human race evolved so well. Tall windows opened the view to the other rooms in the building. A couple of other statues waited in the room. They weren’t the vessels for imprisoned deities. He touched the face of the female statue. He remembered seeing the work back in Athens. Praxiteles carved Aphrodite well and captured the very essence of her faint smile. He’d been vanguard to sculpt her without clothing. Then again, Aphrodite preferred to spend her time in the nude—usually with one of her many suitors.
He sighed and folded his arms. He missed the other gods and goddesses. What he didn’t miss was the water and the ship. The man who’d rescued him from the depths of the sea didn’t please him and couldn’t free him from the marble. He shuddered at the memory of the man’s hands on his body. Rough touches, fondling his ass while the man grunted and rubbed his own dick on Kratos’s thigh. His stomach churned. Was the rescuer the man who sent him? Couldn’t be. That man had to be dead by now. Then who was his owner? He wanted to think about better things—like Andy. He closed his eyes. A vision of Andy’s bright-blue eyes formed in Kratos’s mind. He could listen to Andy’s voice and moan into his touch.

“You’ve broken the curse.”

Can an accident and a rim job lead to a lasting love?

Aiden Connor wasn’t looking for a date. Sure, he wanted one, but relationships seem to be too difficult to maintain. He’s an ER doctor and doesn’t have time for commitment…that is until he runs over a curb and needs a new rim for his sports car. The mechanic isn’t anything like he expects, but could be the one man he needs if he’s willing to open his mind and heart.

Matt Phillips equated dating with disaster, but sees himself as an eternal optimist. When he sees Aiden, he wants to give relationships a try. Every cell in his body screams to get the sexy doctor naked and in his bed. But Matt has demons and addictions he’s still working through. Will he fall prey to his past or learn and move forward with the hot doctor?

EXCERPT: ©2017 Megan Slayer, All Rights Reserved
Aiden watched Aaron leave Matt’s room and a pang of jealousy hit him. He’d just gotten to know Matt and the connection was real. Was Matt that kind of guy who made everyone feel invited? Was he the type to click easily? Aiden scrubbed the back of his hand across his mouth. Man, he was overthinking things. The situation with Matt was new and fragile. Suck it up and stop expecting something so fast. But could he listen to his own advice? He ducked into Matt’s room and hoped for the best.
“Hi.” Matt sat on the edge of the bed. He’d managed to put his jeans on and wrangled a button-down shirt over his shoulders. “I really don’t like this thing.” He waved his arm in the sling. “Motherfucker, that hurts.”
“Which is why you’re not supposed to.” Aiden helped him finish putting the shirt on. “Don’t do that again without help.”
“Then be my help.” He wriggled his eyebrows. “I don’t want to be snarled up in this sling. I like to move.”
“You’ll be able to move before you know it. It gets easier.” He stood beside the bed and folded his arms. He sounded like a damn greeting card. “You’re waiting on the paperwork?”
“Yeah. I’m glad to get rid of the IV. I hate that stuff. You said saline, but it could’ve had something else mixed in.” Matt shook his head. “When you know addicts, you vow not to be like them. I don’t mind a beer every so often, but never pharmaceuticals. If I can’t have control, I’m not doing it.”
“Makes sense, I suppose, but it wasn’t mixed with anything. You like pain but on your terms.” Aiden notched his chin in the air. “Have you ever considered getting implants? The discs or whatever? They give me the heebie-jeebies just thinking about them.”
“Wow. No.” Matt struggled to his feet, wobbled, then sat back down. “I like the art and the pain, but I’m not into dermal anything. I’m also not used to being upright. Wow.” He leveled his gaze at Aiden. “I can’t stay here. I need to get out.”
Aiden recognized the pleading in Matt’s voice and couldn’t argue. He believed the best healing took place when the patient was the most comfortable—and usually at home. “The attendant will be here in a few with a wheelchair.” He paused. “It shouldn’t be much longer.”
“Are you leaving?” Matt asked.
“Yeah, soon. I’m late for a nap.” He didn’t move. He had to deal with his twinge of jealousy concerning Aaron. “I saw your business partner came back. He’ll take you home, right?”
“Yeah.” Matt toyed with the edge of the sling. “Would…would you be interested in stopping by my place? Say it’s to check on me or because we’re friends and we want to talk. I don’t care. Just come by.”
“Aaron isn’t staying with you?” He’d hate to impose.
“He’d love to be, but I told him no.” Matt tipped his head. “What do you think?”
“I think you’re supposed to have someone staying with you for the first twenty-four hours in case you have complications. You should have Aaron sleep over for a precaution.” He hated arguing and encouraging Matt to be with Aaron.
“Then you come over. We’ll talk more and you can watch me all you want. I’d planned on asking you to take me home so we could get to know each other better.” Matt reached for Aiden. “It’s forward and pushy, but it feels right to ask you.”

Paranormal Romance
by A.M. Griffin

When Hunter and Asha’s worlds collide, neither is able to walk away from the other.

Asha has a simple plan for her life—her hopefully soon-to-be immortal life. All she’s ever wanted was to be so powerful that no one could ever hurt her again, and once she becomes a Vampire her dream will come true. Sure, being a Vampire’s protégé isn’t the easiest job a girl could have, but there are far tougher roads she could be walking, like following in her drug-addicted mother’s footsteps.

Hunter Arany hates Vampires, and with good reason. So when Dark Wolf Enterprises is forced to hire a group of the blood-suckers to find out who’s been stealing company money, he’s sure having them around will be a problem. He never figured it would the Vampires’ human servant who causes him the most trouble—trouble of the love and life-mate kind.
He’s hoping to convince Asha a brighter future exists in his arms, but old dreams fade slowly and can become living nightmares—of the dying kind.

 Now for an Excerpt!!!

“You almost got me killed,” she announced.
He turned away from one of the screens he watched to frown at her. “Huh?”
“Stepping between me and Clarissa yesterday then leaving paw prints all over the property. I know it was you.”
He leaned back in his chair and watched her. “I wanted to make sure you were okay. And you shouldn’t be upset that I stopped a mad Vampire from breaking the rest of your fingers.”
Ash narrowed her eyes. “You don’t understand how Vampires work,” she bit out.
“I know plenty, which is why you shouldn’t be anywhere near them. You’re human.”
She lifted her chin. “I can handle myself.”
He glanced at her injured hand. “Right.”
She stabbed the air with her finger. “You think you know everything, but you don’t. No one is making me stay with them. I’m with them because I want to—”
“Be one of them.”
She could feel her temperature rising. “And what’s so bad about that?”
“Nothing if you enjoy feeding off blood.”
“It’s a necessity.”
Hunter got up and crossed the short distance between them. He put a hand on the side of her head and tilted it to view her neck. “No bite marks.” He sounded surprised.
She pulled out of his grasp and stepped away until her back hit the door. “They don’t bite me there.” She knew it was the wrong thing to say as soon as the words left her lips.
He stepped up to her. Their bodies were almost touching. “Where do they bite you, Ash?” he asked in a low voice.
She couldn’t find the words to say anything. He smelled so good—outdoorsy and fresh. She breathed in deeper, filling her lungs with the scent of man.
He lifted her hand and turned over her wrist. “Do they bite you here?”
She didn’t like to be touched. She hated it. But she welcomed his hands on her skin. She wanted him to touch her more. “S-sometimes.”
He ran his fingers up to the soft side of her elbow. Heat erupted on her skin in their wake.  “How about here?”
She shook her head and her messenger bag dropped from her hand. He went to her hip and she inhaled a sharp breath at the tingling sensation that he caused.
He used his hand to travel down her hip and stopped at the juncture of her groin. “Here?”
“Y-yes.”
“You have to hand it to them,” he said, his voice deep and raspy. “They know where the liquid is…sweetest.”
Air caught in her throat. Hunter leaned down and captured her mouth with his. The prickly hairs on his upper lip and chin grazed across her face. He was all man, yet feral and predatory at the same time. He used his tongue to part her lips and delved inside. She was hesitant at first, unsure what to do or how to kiss him. But it didn’t take long before instinct took over and she explored his mouth just as much as he did hers and met his tongue with the same ferocity he displayed.
He reached around and palmed her butt, squeezing and kneading her onto him. His hardness was against her belly in the most delightful way. He gripped and lifted her off her feet. Using the door to steady her, Hunter urged her to wrap her legs around his waist. With their mouths locked together, he walked her over to the table and sat her on the edge.
She didn’t care about the compromising position. All that mattered was how his muscles felt under her hands. She explored him, caressing his face, neck, arms and back. She wanted more. She longed for him.
He pressed his hips between her legs and she shuddered. Only the thin barrier of her panties separated his cock from her. Little moans escaped her mouth as he moved, grinding on her clit. She let her hands roam across his lower back, urging him on. With fervor, he kissed her, and deep moans came from his throat. Her stomach knotted at hearing his pleasure in her ears.

Excerpt #3
As he sauntered over to her, with plate in hand, she took a deep breath and her mouth watered as the aroma of onions, tomatoes, cheese and eggs hit her nostrils. “That smells wonderful.”
When he held the plate out to her she practically snatched it from him, making the fork fall onto the floor.
“Whoa, slow down. It’s not going anywhere,” he joked.
“Sorry, I’m hungrier than I thought.” When she started for the utensil, he stopped her.
“Don’t worry about that. I’ll get you another.”
“Thanks,” she said as he leaned down to get it for her.
He stopped and took a long sniff at the air.
“What the heck are you doing? Are you smelling me again?”
This wasn’t the same kind of sniff that he’d given her earlier. This one was longer, more sensual and she swore he had shivered as he did.
“I’m sorry. I couldn’t help it. You smell…delectable.”
She pressed her knees together, unsure of exactly how she should feel about being sniffed. “Just…just don’t do that again.”
He looked up at her. “Why not?”
She was mortified. “Why? Because, because it’s not proper. One does not go around sniffing other people’s crotches. It’s rude.”
“Not for Wolf-Shifters.”
“I. Am. Not. A. Wolf-Shifter.”
“I’m well aware of that fact.” He dropped to his knees and she scooted her chair back so fast that she tipped to fall. Just as fast, he reached out and caught the chair legs and righted her before she tumbled backward.
“I should probably say thank you, but I’m not going to.”
“No need to thank me.”
She stared down at him positioned between her legs. How could she close them if he had his body wedged there? “So, um, can you move now?”
“No, I was thinking that I could eat, while you eat.”
She nodded toward the stove. “That was the plan. That’s why you made two omelets, right?”
He pulled his gaze away from her crotch to stare up at her. The minute their eyes met she knew she was in a world of trouble. Light-brown eyes, shielded by heavy lashes and projecting sex stared back at her. And she thought the looks he’d shot her the first night had been smoldering. No, the way he watched her now was exactly how she imagined lovers looked at each other.
“I don’t want to eat…that,” he said.

Tate sighed and gripped the nearly empty bottle. He shifted on the seat enough to look at Raine. “You asked me, so I’ll ask you. Where’s your boyfriend?”
“Don’t have one.” The blush returned. “Single and ready to mingle or whatever it’s called.”
“Oh.” Perfect.
Raine waved his hands. The beer sloshed in his bottle. “Strike that. I mean… Christ, I don’t know what I mean. I don’t have a boyfriend. The last time I tried to date, the guy said I was too nerdy and turned me down.”
He placed his palm on Raine’s thigh. “What if I said I wouldn’t?”
Raine dropped the bottle onto his lap and yelped. “Wait. Wouldn’t turn me down?” He wound his fingers around the neck of the beer and stared at Tate. “You just met me.”
“So?” Tate stood, then put his bottle on the makeshift coffee table. “Sometimes things are meant to happen fast.”
“Fast maybe, but are you sure? I’m…no one. I bet Blake has a guy over there that’s more like what you want.” He scrambled to his feet. “Someone hotter.”
“You’re one of the sexiest men I’ve ever met.” Tate tugged Raine into his arms and stuffed his hands into Raine’s back pockets. He liked the way they fit together. “Dance with me. The music is just loud enough for ambience.”
“Sure.” Raine bowed his head and draped his arms around Tate’s shoulders. “I’m not very good at dancing.”
As they swayed together, Tate held Raine to his chest and breathed in the scent of him. Spicy, but fresh. He rested his chin on Raine’s shoulder and feathered a kiss over Raine’s neck. “You’re doing a great job.”

“Am I?”

“I’m so ready to be done with this place.” Roderick Green tossed his stylus onto the desktop and groaned. He wasn’t going to be able to leave until at least nine p.m. Damn it. He’d come into the news room at six that morning. Fifteen hours of scheduling, sorting through news stories and dealing with the broadcasters who didn’t want to cooperate. He was damn near pulling his hair out.
He’d been a producer at Channel 25 for the last eight years. He liked his job. The news of the nation as well as local stories colored the broadcasts. The channel featured plenty of sports stories, courtesy of one of his best reporters, Tory McClellan.
Most days, he loved his job. Bringing the news and working with the various groups made him happy. Today? Not so much.
He flipped through the papers on his desk then turned to his tablet. Of all the stories planned for the next week, he had Tory’s schedule, but that was all. He needed more than what Tory had given him. The broadcast couldn’t feature one reporter.
But hell, he’d lost two of his reporters that year. Filling their spots hadn’t been easy. He gritted his teeth. Speaking of the new reporters, where in the hell was their work?
He punched the numbers on his desk phone. Someone needed to give him answers and fast. After three rings, Holden, the main news reader, answered. “Yes, sir,” Holden said. “I’m currently working on that piece about the community center. I’m trying to get interviews with the staff. The work they’re doing with the young men and women is really inspirational.”
“Great, but I need stuff for the end of this week,” Roddy bit out. “Come on.”
“Ask Susan. She’s got a fluff piece on the animal rescue center. I thought she was finished.”
“She’s not.” But he’d be sure to contact her next and give the weather girl some explaining to do. He didn’t mind that she wanted to branch out and work on other stories, but she wasn’t keeping up with her own workload.
“I’ll have mine done this weekend and will have the comeback kid story about the young man who helps the Tigers ready by tomorrow. He was a talker, but I’ve got enough to do the story justice.”
“Fine.” Actually, really freaking good. “Okay. I can work with that. I’m looking forward to the footage.” Roddy groaned. “Tomorrow.”

“This (Constant) is the first time I have read anything by Megan Slayer, but it won't be the last. I did think the book could have been longer, and I appreciated the epilogue. But I would have liked to have seen more interaction between the two men - hearing that they had played together for two years put things in perspective, but I am one who likes to see the feelings develop over time. Not a complaint though. The book was well-written, the story line was awesome and sweet, and yep, I just loved Vegas. I'm off to find some more of Megan's books.” ~ Rated 4 stars ~ Liza ~ Sinfully...Addicted to All Male Romance  http://sinfullysexybooks.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/review-constant-by-megan-slayer.html

“This (Constant) was a sweet story about taking that chance on love. Roddy and Vegas work well together and make a good couple. They are both strong men who know what they want. Although each has been hurt in the past the two try to overcome their fear to try for love once again. The men are hot together and their feelings shine through in all that they do. Watching their attraction turn into something much deeper made for a nice read. Each man must be careful and avoid the stigma that comes with their lifestyle. It was nice to see others stand by the men and encourage them to fight for the right to their own private lives. As the two men work through their relationship, outside factors come in to play and the men prove what stand up men they truly are. They prove love is worth fighting for whenever you can find it.” ~ Mistletoe ~ Long and Short Reviews  http://www.longandshortreviews.com/book-reviews/constant-by-megan-slayer/

I would describe Constant as a beautiful powerful read. I love when BDSM brings another layer and deeper connection to characters. Ms. Slayer makes me love her character and want much more of them. I also have read Permanent but you do not have to understand this story.  I would suggest reading it anyways it is a wonderfully written story with unforgettable characters. When you want some edge to you man love this is the book to pick up. ~ Reviewed by Redz  ~ Rated Five Shooting stars and Recommended Read  ~ On Redz World Reviews http://redzworld.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/star-dust-award-constant-by-megan-slayer.html

Here’s what Senior Editor Sarah has to say about Constant:
“This is a fantastic snippet both into the world of news broadcasting and BDSM lifestyle.
Roddy and Andrew are essentially two very different characters in terms of traits and their outlook on life, but I think in reality this is actually what draws them together. The course that their love travels is gripping and I found it fascinating how their insecurities are whole-heartedly laid bare to the reader by Megan Slayer. This is a real insight into how BDSM co-exists alongside everyday life for everyday people.” https://www.pride-publishing.com/blog/editors-choice-constant

Shaken and Stirred with a splash of dirty.

Candy Wilson arrives in St. Albert with one mission—to sign the next young, hot model to her modeling agency. She has no time for distractions and isn’t prepared for bartender Eric McKenna—the brother of her young client-to-be, Melissa. Eric challenges her on all counts, irritates her daily, and heats her body to boiling temperatures with just one touch. He’s hard to ignore and impossible to resist.

Eric McKenna will be damned if his baby sister signs any contracts with Candy Wilson. No way in hell will he allow anyone to whisk Melissa off to a foreign country and lead her on a path that’s not right for her. And yet Candy pushes him further than he’s ever been before and drives him crazy. Eric can’t control his need for her or the desire to engage with her … on so many levels.

Excerpt © Kacey Hammell, 2015
There was no way she’d tell Melissa she had the hots for her oldest brother. “All is good. Is there anything I can help you with, though? I waited tables once. A lot of years ago, but I’d be happy to help.” Besides, it would get her mind off the hot-blooded male behind the bar who made her want to hop over it and take him right there. A full room of customers or not.
“No. Absolutely not. I didn’t ask you to meet me here so I could put you to work.” Melissa glanced over her shoulder when one of the customers yelled for her and raised one finger. She turned back to Candy. “Maybe we should meet tomorrow?”
Candy nodded. “Sounds good. Come by my hotel, okay? But for now,” she slid from the booth, “put me to work. What can I do?”
Melissa stood and hugged her, then pointed to the corner. “Well, I’m behind in getting out more nuts. The bowls on the bar and tables need refilling. I have enough to get some done now, but we’ll be closing in an hour and will need more. If you don’t mind, could you grab some?”
“Not at all.”
“Thank you so much. They’re on the very back wall, third shelf from the bottom.” Another customer hollered for Melissa’s attention. “Thanks again,” she said before hurrying off.
The girl was meant for bigger and better. Not that there was anything wrong with working hard for a living, but her long and lean figure, her regal neckline and great posture would be better served on a runway or in a magazine than hustling from table to table.
She strode across the room to the side door Melissa had directed her to. The door was ajar, held open with a small wooden crate. She pushed the crate inside and entered, shutting the door behind her.
“Damn it. Who let the door close? Drew, fuck, you know better.” The masculine voice from somewhere in the back startled her. Thankfully she recognized the voice or she’d have been screaming bloody murder about being locked in a room with a stranger.
“Sorry, Eric. It’s Candy. I closed the door.” She moved further into the room and around one large utility shelving unit.
“Christ, what the hell are you doing in here?”
She found him near the back wall, piling boxes of what looked like the nuts she had to find on a small cart.
“I was giving Melissa a hand.” She pointed at the item in his hand. “I was going to take them out for her, for after closing, and give her a hand.”
He snorted, set down the case and reached for another one. “I don’t think a woman like you would be into this type of work. Don’t want you breaking a nail or anything like that.”
“Oh shut up, dickhead. You’re so pompous.”
He raised his head and glared at her.
“Don’t look at me like that, either. I’m no stranger to hard work.” She scanned the room. Jesus, wasn’t there air-conditioning in this little closet? She pulled at the neckline of her scoop neck top. “Anything else I can help with?”
Eric set aside the last case and leaned against the shelf. His arms crossed over his chest, and Candy tried to ignore the bulging biceps that stood out beneath the sleeves of his grey t-shirt.
Ah, hell.
Her heart skipped and her pussy throbbed. Just when she thought she’d shoved the need for him aside, he had to go and look all manly and tasty standing there.
“I thought you were here to whisk my sister off somewhere?” She hated that he could see right through her plans. “Or are you here for a job? No longer young enough for those crazy sharks in magazines these days?”
Oh the bastard knew how to cut her to the quick. She wasn’t a washed-up has-been, but her time in the fashion and modeling limelight had come and gone. “You really need to let go of that high-and-mighty attitude. You know nothing about me. Now,” she waved her arms, “anything here need to be taken out front?”
He smirked, and she wanted to slap him. But he shrugged and pointed to the shelf above her head. “I need that red box there brought down. The blue one beside it too. They aren’t heavy, just napkins.”
She nodded and lifted her arms. In her six-inch heels it was hard to reach so high, and she widened her stance for better balance. The tips of her fingers eased the red box closer to the edge for her to grab the sides. She lowered it and set it on the stack of cases he had on the cart.
“I’m glad I can help. Melissa looked a bit frazzled out there. She is a hard worker.”
He coughed. “We all grew up working hard.”
Candy reached for the blue box and nodded. “It seems like a great family unit that you all have.” Crap, this one was a bit farther back. She felt a breeze cross her skin as her top rose, baring her midriff. She wobbled on her heels. Shit. That’s all she needed was to fall on her ass while in a skirt and look like a fool.
Warm hands suddenly circled her waist. Gasping, she drew in a deep breath and grabbed on to the shelf with both hands as he touched her.
“Easy there, darlin’. Those heels aren’t exactly made for working.” His searing breath washed over her neck. Electric currents spread along her skin, igniting and firing to life. Goddamn, goddamn.

“Now there’s our girl.”
Kitty’s attention pricked. She knew that voice. Vic. She glanced up at the doorway. Vic and Gale stood watching her.
“Why do you look so sad, hon?” Vic crossed the room first and offered his hand. “The bastard tried something, didn’t he?”
She drank in Vic’s presence. The tight T-shirt clung to his muscled frame. Although he was in his human form, the power of the wolf showed through. His salt-and-pepper hair glimmered in the light. His blue eyes sparkled as he knelt beside her. She loved how he contrasted Gale’s tall frame.
“I’m okay.” She brushed her hair away from her face and allowed him to pull her to her feet. “He was pushy, but I handled it.” She turned over his wrist. “Ah, you’re here for sex and feeding.”
“Are you pleased?” Gale uncrossed his ankles and left the doorway. He didn’t just walk over to her. He stalked across the room. His gray eyes glowed and a lock of his sandy brown hair slipped over his forehead. His clothes hung on his lanky frame. He embodied the strength and sexuality of a vampire, but without the jackass attitude.
“I am.” She slid her hand into his. “I’ve been waiting on you both. It’s not as fun here without you.”
“Oh?” Vic closed the door and engaged the lock. “I’m honored.”
“You should be,” she replied. She shouldn’t have been snappy with them, but after the nasty vampire, her nerves were shot.
“He fed from you.” Gale caressed her arm. “Left big ass puncture wounds, too. Didn’t he bother to close them?”
“II didn’t look.” She glanced at her wrist. Bright red blood dripped down her arm. Well, shit.
Gale scooped her into his arms. “The bastard.” He carried her to the bed, then plunked her onto his lap. In one slick move, he licked the wounds shut and stopped the bleeding. “He had no right to do this to you.”
“It’s my job,” she managed. Her vision blurred a bit. How much blood had the vampire taken?
“Sleep, little one.” Gale stretched her out on the bed, then cuddled beside her.
Vic slipped between her and the wall. “Recharge. We’re not going anywhere.”
“No?” Her eyelids grew heavy and she fought to stay awake. “Don’t let me die.”
“We won’t,” Gale murmured. He tore into his wrist, allowing a rivulet of blood to dribble onto her lips. “Take some of mine and sleep.”
