I want to belong here. Tyrone Zade shook his head. No, he wanted to belong to someone at Club Desire. He wiped his hands on the legs of his leather pants and blew out a long breath. He’d loved coming to the club each of the four times he’d visited. He knew what he liked and what he wanted to do when he got there. No names or major details—just playing. Most of all, no sex.
He’d adhered to his rules for the last four months and kept his visits to once every four weeks, coinciding with when he’d returned to town between games. Talking to anyone about his job wasn’t an option. He wanted to keep his career as the first baseman for the Red Devils separate from his need to be spanked and tied down. Hell, until he’d spoken to Rocke Houseman, he hadn’t felt confident enough to visit the club in the first place. Once he’d realized people would do what he needed and keep quiet, he’d known he had to go to Club Desire.
Ty straightened his shoulders. He’d paid his admittance for tonight’s special event. According to the signs, the club was throwing a Raining Men party. He’d seen the advertisements for the recurring bash a more than once but had never been in town at the right time. Tonight was perfect for a lot of things, especially meeting his Dom outside of a scene.
He stepped into the main playroom and scoped out the situation. People milled around, watching porn movies being projected onto the walls. On the main floor, three couples were in the midst of sex acts. Doms, some he recognized and others he didn’t, orchestrated a few of the scenes along the edge of the space. He snorted. He wasn’t sure why he’d expected to see a few women. Not tonight. Raining Men must’ve been aimed strictly at gay men.
Standing along the edge of the room was an option, but not a good one. If a Dom spotted him and decided he should be part of a scene, Ty would have to comply. He wasn’t collared by anyone—not yet. He wanted his Dom, Leo, to do it, but they hadn’t spent enough time together for such a situation to take place.
Ty toyed with the black band around his wrist. On the baseball field, he knew just what to do. Get out there and play. But in the club, his confidence melted. Rocke had mentioned settling down, but part of Ty wanted to stay free. Why tie himself down to one guy, especially when he wasn’t ready for the entire baseball league to know he was gay? And what if he couldn’t find someone he wanted to settle down with? Why choose someone who might be only “good enough”? Or had he set his standards too high?
God, he’d crawled too far into his own head again. He was here to have fun. If he ran into Leo, good, but right now, he just wanted to dance and let loose for a little while.
Rocke strolled past him and grinned. “Get out there. You paid the hundred bucks. Get your money’s worth.” He headed over to two men at the bar.
Ty sighed. He’d come to the event to hook up with Leo and he’d never get anywhere standing along the edge. What was wrong with joining a group already together? Or finding someone for the night? Because they weren’t Leo. But Leo probably didn’t see him as anything other than another random sub.
He noticed a group of four men gathered on the couch. Glitter billowed around the room, except for where these guys were knotted together.
“Care to dance?” A man with a harness across his chest and a tiny g-string writhed beside Ty. “You want to. Come on before one of the Doms snaps you up.”
Ty didn’t argue as the guy pulled him into the middle of the room. Throbbing techno music nearly blotted out what the man said, but Ty wasn’t paying attention. He’d noticed one of the individuals on the couch—Leo.

One Night With You

From the Brothers in Arms Anthology

By Megan Slayer

M/M, Military, Contemporary, Anal Sex

From Pride Publishing

Short Story

One night to find the man of his dreams in the least likely place…

Airman Tate Gibson thought going to a party at the local college with his friends would take his mind off his troubles. He’ll head back to Korea in two days’ time—after the funeral of his baby sister. He’s always taken responsibility for her and he’s not ready to deal with her being gone. He wants someone to help him deal with his sadness and give him a reason to get through his deployment.

Raine has had a crush on his neighbor across the hallway, but once he spots the hunky airman his thoughts center on Tate. He wants to strip the handsome blue-eyed hunk down and lick him everywhere, but geeks like Raine never get the man. He’s stuck playing the perpetual wallflower.

Will one night tear them apart before things get hot or will it be enough to bring these two wounded souls together for a long-term engagement?

Tate sighed and gripped the nearly empty bottle. He shifted on the seat enough to look at Raine. “You asked me, so I’ll ask you. Where’s your boyfriend?”

“Don’t have one.” The blush returned. “Single and ready to mingle or whatever it’s called.”

“Oh.” Perfect.

Raine waved his hands. The beer sloshed in his bottle. “Strike that. I mean… Christ, I don’t know what I mean. I don’t have a boyfriend. The last time I tried to date, the guy said I was too nerdy and turned me down.”

He placed his palm on Raine’s thigh. “What if I said I wouldn’t?”

Raine dropped the bottle onto his lap and yelped. “Wait. Wouldn’t turn me down?” He wound his fingers around the neck of the beer and stared at Tate. “You just met me.”

“So?” Tate stood, then put his bottle on the makeshift coffee table. “Sometimes things are meant to happen fast.”

“Fast maybe, but are you sure? I’m…no one. I bet Blake has a guy over there that’s more like what you want.” He scrambled to his feet. “Someone hotter.”

“You’re one of the sexiest men I’ve ever met.” Tate tugged Raine into his arms and stuffed his hands into Raine’s back pockets. He liked the way they fit together. “Dance with me. The music is just loud enough for ambience.”

“Sure.” Raine bowed his head and draped his arms around Tate’s shoulders. “I’m not very good at dancing.”

As they swayed together, Tate held Raine to his chest and breathed in the scent of him. Spicy, but fresh. He rested his chin on Raine’s shoulder and feathered a kiss over Raine’s neck. “You’re doing a great job.”

“Am I?”

Anders held the phone on his lap. Feed Galen. He’d never offered himself up to Galen. Even in their lowest times… Galen offered his vein plenty of times, but Anders didn’t reciprocate. Why? He’d been scared. What if they were supposed to be together and he didn’t feel the same way for Galen? He’d be giving blood to a man he didn’t love. But was that the truth? Now that someone had done something horrible to Galen, the feelings he’d kept down for so long welled to the surface. Love was possible, but he loved Bethany and Johnson, too. He cared about them all even more because he saw life could be so precious. But who did he want?

He shifted his position on the arm of the couch and watched Galen. Some supers were real assholes. Only a dick would drain someone, but only a dick would refuse his best friend too. He nudged Galen’s foot. The vampire still didn’t move.

He scooted off the couch and knelt beside Galen. “Hey.” He patted Galen’s face. “Gale. Hon.” He swatted Galen’s unbitten thigh, but the vampire didn’t move. “Stop dicking with me. If this is a joke, I’m leaving your ass for a younger, prettier model.” More panic set in. “Galen, I’m going to fuck you.”

“Stop shouting,” Galen mumbled. “You can’t leave me. I paid the rent this month.” The muscle in his jaw tensed. “You won’t fuck me, so don’t tease.”

He’d gotten an answer and snark from Galen. The man wasn’t completely dead. He held Galen’s hand and rested his forehead on Galen’s fingers. “I called Vita. She’ll be here soon. Until then, you need to eat.” He bared his fangs and ripped into his own wrist. “Come on. Take mine.” He rubbed his forearm against Galen’s mouth. “Take it.”

“No.” Galen didn’t open his eyes, but he did shake his head. “Whatever this is—it’s bad. I don’t want you to get it.”

“What?” He smeared his blood onto Galen’s lips. “The poison or whatever it is probably isn’t all of the way through your system.” Well, he hoped not.

“I’m dying.” Galen licked his mouth and moaned.

“Hon, you’re a vampire.” He dribbled more blood onto Galen’s lips. “You already died. You can’t do it again.” Technically, he could die a final death and would end up in a pile of ash, but Anders refused to let that happen. “Stop joking.”

“I’m not.” Galen managed to open his eyes. Instead of the dark luster and shimmer, the sparkle in his brown eyes dulled. The middle reminded him of coffee with a little cream—not a black pupil. “I’m dying.”

Sports Romance

Sometimes switching things up really does mean getting the guy.

Allan Clark thought his life as a wide receiver for the Wildcats was over the moment he was told he’d be the new punt returner. He’d thought he didn’t want to be a special teams player. He’d rather have the limelight. But once he starts returning punts, he realizes this was where he should’ve been all along. Speaking of perks, he now gets to spend time with the sexy kicker, Tyler Leigh. Maybe this switch is the best thing that could’ve happened to him.

Unlike Allan, Tyler isn’t planning on going into the draft or playing football for the rest of his life. He’s got other plans, though a side trip in the sheets with Allan isn’t off his radar. He’s wanted Allan since he joined the team. But Tyler’s got baggage and an overzealous ex-boyfriend hell-bent on making his life miserable. With Allan, he sees a bright spot.

Will these two seeming opposites leave their desires on the field, or will they find common ground together and score?

“Ride with me to Lorne’s. My car’s right over here and in the morning, we’ll call Dad. Deal?” He pressed the fob on his keys. The headlights on his coupé flashed as the doors unlocked. “Perfect for a twosome.”

“Okay.” Tyler inched up to the car. “Just— I can’t walk in with you.”

“Because of Blake and Devan?” The pair of asshats were starting to get on Allan’s nerves and they weren’t even within earshot.

“Yeah.”

“He can suck my ass.” Allan opened the car door for Tyler. “Get in. The bugs are starting to swarm under the bright lights and I don’t want to be eaten alive.”

Tyler acquiesced and slid into the passenger seat. He held his bag in both hands and didn’t look at Allan. “It’s nice. The car. You’ve got a nice car.” He blew out a long breath. “Sorry. I’m babbling.”

“You’re fine.” He shut the door and rounded the hood. Excitement surged through his veins. He had Tyler Leigh in his car. So the guy didn’t think he was popular. He probably didn’t think he was handsome, either. He was wrong. Popularity wasn’t that important, but damn, the man was cute. Allan collapsed onto the driver’s seat and basked in the comfort of the faux leather. Sitting down was a good thing for his aching body. He’d taken one too many hits on the last punt return and needed a break.

“I’m indebted to you,” Tyler said. “What do you want other than help with punts? Blow jobs? My ass?” His voice cracked.

Allan closed his car door and gripped the steering wheel. He wanted to lash out at Tyler, but having an attitude wouldn’t help the matter. Blake was the problem. Blake’s treatment of Tyler, to be more specific. The man was using Tyler and for some reason, Tyler didn’t seem to see he wasn’t worthless. Christ. He wasn’t even sure Tyler knew better.

“Sorry,” Tyler mumbled.

“No. There’s nothing to be sorry for.” He had to be delicate. If he moved too quickly or without tact, he’d screw everything up. “Was Blake your first boyfriend?”

“It’s Valentine’s Day. What’s on your docket?”
“I’m not sure. Aydin said something about a plan and celebration. I’m the lousy boyfriend this time. I hadn’t gotten him anything and was going to on the way home.” The tips of his ears burned. “I was so worried about the review, I kind of forgot it was Valentine’s Day.”
“You forgot?” she blurted.
“I did.” He walked beside her. “I was going to get him flowers.”
“Flowers?” She stopped in her tracks. “Are you serious?”
“He likes them.”
“Not chocolates?”
“He doesn’t like them. I thought he did, but he just ate the ones I got him for Christmas because he didn’t want them to go to waste.” When she started walking again, he fell into step beside her. “I know what he likes—now.”
“Flowers, eh?” She laughed. “And what else? Some hey-hey?” She elbowed him. “Right?”
He wasn’t about to tell her the other gift would be a blow job.
“Well, good.” She stopped at the classroom door. “I hope you have a good night.” She poked her head into the classroom. “Bye, Aydin. Have a wicked hot night.”
“That’s the plan.” Aydin left his spot on the desk and picked up the portfolio. “Ready?”
Heat slid through Brandon’s body. He couldn’t wait to get home. He’d strip Aydin down and taste every inch of him. “Yeah.”
“Good. Let’s go. I drove, so we can blow this popsicle stand.” Aydin carried the case out of the room. “Goodnight, Georgie. Do you need us to walk you out?”
“Nah, I’m meeting my friend Durand upstairs.” She waved. “Night! Do all the things I can’t do but want to watch.”
“We will,” Aydin called.
Brandon stood rooted to the spot for a second. Do all the things I can’t do but want to watch…holy shit. And Aydin hadn’t batted an eye. Damn. Excitement radiated through Brandon. He had the guy, the grade, and good friends. Now, he’d have a hot Valentine’s Day. Fucking sweet, indeed.

Aiden watched Aaron leave Matt’s room and a pang of jealousy hit him. He’d just gotten to know Matt and the connection was real. Was Matt that kind of guy who made everyone feel invited? Was he the type to click easily? Aiden scrubbed the back of his hand across his mouth. Man, he was overthinking things. The situation with Matt was new and fragile. Suck it up and stop expecting something so fast. But could he listen to his own advice? He ducked into Matt’s room and hoped for the best.

“Hi.” Matt sat on the edge of the bed. He’d managed to put his jeans on and wrangled a button-down shirt over his shoulders. “I really don’t like this thing.” He waved his arm in the sling. “Motherfucker, that hurts.”

“Which is why you’re not supposed to.” Aiden helped him finish putting the shirt on. “Don’t do that again without help.”

“Then be my help.” He wriggled his eyebrows. “I don’t want to be snarled up in this sling. I like to move.”

“You’ll be able to move before you know it. It gets easier.” He stood beside the bed and folded his arms. He sounded like a damn greeting card. “You’re waiting on the paperwork?”

“Yeah. I’m glad to get rid of the IV. I hate that stuff. You said saline, but it could’ve had something else mixed in.” Matt shook his head. “When you know addicts, you vow not to be like them. I don’t mind a beer every so often, but never pharmaceuticals. If I can’t have control, I’m not doing it.”

“Makes sense, I suppose, but it wasn’t mixed with anything. You like pain but on your terms.” Aiden notched his chin in the air. “Have you ever considered getting implants? The discs or whatever? They give me the heebie-jeebies just thinking about them.”

“Wow. No.” Matt struggled to his feet, wobbled, then sat back down. “I like the art and the pain, but I’m not into dermal anything. I’m also not used to being upright. Wow.” He leveled his gaze at Aiden. “I can’t stay here. I need to get out.”

Aiden recognized the pleading in Matt’s voice and couldn’t argue. He believed the best healing took place when the patient was the most comfortable—and usually at home. “The attendant will be here in a few with a wheelchair.” He paused. “It shouldn’t be much longer.”

“Are you leaving?” Matt asked.

“Yeah, soon. I’m late for a nap.” He didn’t move. He had to deal with his twinge of jealousy concerning Aaron. “I saw your business partner came back. He’ll take you home, right?”

“Yeah.” Matt toyed with the edge of the sling. “Would…would you be interested in stopping by my place? Say it’s to check on me or because we’re friends and we want to talk. I don’t care. Just come by.”

“Aaron isn’t staying with you?” He’d hate to impose.

“He’d love to be, but I told him no.” Matt tipped his head. “What do you think?”

“I think you’re supposed to have someone staying with you for the first twenty-four hours in case you have complications. You should have Aaron sleep over for a precaution.” He hated arguing and encouraging Matt to be with Aaron.

“Then you come over. We’ll talk more and you can watch me all you want. I’d planned on asking you to take me home so we could get to know each other better.” Matt reached for Aiden. “It’s forward and pushy, but it feels right to ask you.”

“I hear bells,” Wyatt shouted. “Here comes the horses!”
Colton made quick work of cutting down the third tree. Ashley returned with Tyus’s dad. “I got help,” Ashley said. “He’s got tags, too.”
Colton dragged the third tree to the path and with help, hefted the two bigger trees onto the back of the wagon. He plunked the third one on top, then followed Ashley up the steps. He sagged onto the seat and draped his arm around Ashley. Wyatt bounced up to where Tyus sat.
“You didn’t have to do that.” Ashley shook his head, then kissed Colt’s cheek. “I love it, though. We’ll have to buy extra ornaments. We don’t have enough.” He snuggled up to Colt. “Oh well.”
Colt rode the rest of the way to the barn in silence. He had so many other things he wanted to say to Ashley, but not yet. He wanted them to be alone. Wyatt might be up with his friend near the front of the wagon, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t listening.  The wagon stopped and pitched Ashley and Colt forward a bit. Colt stood first, then tugged Ashley to his feet. “Go ahead and pay for them. Tell the girl I paid for the one with the bows. She’ll understand. I’ll tie them onto the cars.”
Wyatt jumped off the wagon. “Can we get a pizza?”
“Sounds good.” Colt nodded. “Why don’t you order a couple on-line and pick them up on the way home.” He squeezed Ashley’s ass. “We’ll eat while these dry out in the garage, then we can decorate when we’re done.” He kept Ashley closer and dropped his voice to a whisper. “Once we’re in bed, I’ll decorate you.”
Ashley shivered. “Yes.”
He kissed his boyfriend and sighed. God, he loved this man.

“You’re ready for this form of play.” He slapped Roddy hard on the ass with his bare hand. He slid his middle finger between Roddy’s ass cheeks. “Who does this belong to?”

“You, Sir,” Roddy answered. He held his reservations in check. Master Vegas had said the word play. Not love, not romance or desire. Just play. He shouldn’t have hinged his hopes on Master Vegas wanting him in a romantic way.

“You belong to me. Say it again.” Master Vegas punctuated his words with flat-handed spanks on Roddy’s butt. He tapped Roddy’s asshole on the last word.

“You, Sir.” He flexed his hole, ready to allow Master Vegas into his body. The toys and masturbation weren’t enough. He needed a real man.

“Good, pet.” Master Vegas dribbled chilly lube down the crack of Roddy’s butt. He continued tapping Roddy’s hole. “How much do you want me here?”

“I crave you, Sir.” At least he’d been honest. He pressed his face into the warm leather. “Please, Sir? Fuck me.” He wanted his Sir in his ass right now. Needed him. Couldn’t wait another minute.

“You expect a lot.” Master Vegas caressed his middle finger over Roddy’s hole, then eased inside. He pushed past the tight ring of muscle until he buried himself two knuckles deep.

Holy shit. Roddy wanted to thrust. Every instinct told him to ride Master Vegas’ middle finger. Instead, he held back. He wasn’t in control.

“Good, pet. You’re withholding for me. Pleasing me.”

Can the star drummer step away from the buzz of fame long enough to grab what he needs with both hands or will the lure of the crowd be too much?

Matt Walker knew from the moment he got involved with Jacen that their relationship was temporary. Jacen’s a celebrity and he holds the position of the sexiest eligible bachelor of the band. Even if Matt saw a future for him and Jacen, the odds aren’t in their favor. But he can hope, right? He’s been head over heels in love with Jacen since the moment they met.

Can these two opposites make a go of their fledgling relationship or will celebrity and the challenges of fame keep them apart?

Matt busied himself with straightening the counter space and trying not to watch Jacen. Fuck. How could he not? The man featured in his dreams and had become his favorite spank bank material. He swept his gaze over Jacen. The denim shorts hugged his hips and accentuated the strength in his legs. Jacen rubbed the back of his neck with his fingers and flexed his upper body.
Jesus. Was Jacen trying to turn him on? If so, he’d accomplished his mission. Matt plopped onto the stool and pressed his knees together. Blood rushed to his cock and his mouth watered. Just a few touches. Kisses. He didn’t want much. Really.
“Mother fucker.” Jacen whipped around and held his phone in a white-knuckled grasp as he strode back to the desk. “He’s a piece of shit. Where are those peas?”
Matt offered up the bag. “Whoever it is, I hope you lit into him.” He shut the laptop down, then moved the device to the lower portion of the counter. “Better pick up your key before you forget.” He slid the card across to Jacen. “Have a good night…well, a better one than you’ve had so far.”
“Huh?” Jacen glared at Matt and plunked the bag back onto his bruise. “Are you here all night? I thought Cady hired on people to work the desk so you and her weren’t stuck.”
“She did, but this is my night. I have to earn my keep somehow.” He grinned to hide his displeasure. “I can’t feed my music and running habits without some source of income.”
Jacen tucked his phone into his pocket and lingered at the counter. “Want some company? I came here to work on music, yeah, but that wasn’t the only reason.” He offered up the bag. “I’ve melted this.”
“I’ll stick it back in the freezer. No problem.” He gripped the melting frozen food. “Stick around a moment in case anyone comes in and I’ll put it back.” He left Jacen alone long enough to put the peas in the fridge. He’d probably make them for lunch the next day instead of wasting them. When he returned, Jacen had rounded the counter.
“All good?” Jacen asked.
“I’ve got lunch for tomorrow.” He tensed. “Thanks for holding down the fort.” He expected Jacen to leave, but instead, he crept closer to Matt.
“I didn’t just return for Rory and the music. I came here for you, too.”
“Me?” He frowned. “What?” He had to be hearing Jacen wrong. No way Jacen meant that.
“Uh, yeah. You.”

Biting Love by @MeganSlayer ~ #gayromance #gay #vampires #novella #eroticromance #Romance #excerpt

Biting Love By Megan Slayer

A Rosie Peaks Crossover Novella
Megan Slayer Publications
M/M, Anal Sex
Vampires
Contemporary, Paranormal

Mix one vampire with one human who doesn’t believe in the paranormal and add some sizzle.
Anson wasn’t looking for a partner when he spotted the handsome human, but he’s not about to argue when the mood strikes. He’s got to bring a date to the Halloween bash and Parker fits his bill exactly. Now all he needs to do is convince Parker that vampires truly exist.
Parker is practical, intelligent and a little on the geeky side. He can’t believe his eyes—a handsome man has not only hit on him, but asked him out…to a masquerade ball. He doesn’t believe in vampires, but Anson wears his Dracula costume a bit too well.
Can these two find love and trust after all or will the sparks only last until the dawn?

“Okay, then where’s your boyfriend?”
“Don’t have one.” Not since Seth dumped him a year ago. Seth wanted to sleep around and Parker wanted monogamy. According to Seth, gay men couldn’t be monogamous. The asshole. Parker tried to get him back, but Seth never called him again.
“You should.” Anson grasped Parker’s hand. “But it makes this so much easier.”
“Me? I? What?” Oh Jesus, he had to stop talking. He made no sense and he could’ve sworn Anson wanted to kiss him.
“It’s rather difficult to ask someone out if they’ve already got a date or boyfriend.” Anson scooted he chair around the table until he sat next to Parker. “Right?”
“You’re asking me out?” He must’ve heard Anson wrong and understood the wrong vibes. “Really?”
“Of course…unless you don’t want to.” Anson trailed his fingers down the back of Parker’s neck. His eyes shimmered. “Not interested?”
“I…yes.” Christ. Start going for what you want, Parker. “I’d like a date. Yes. But I need some time. I mean—not tonight.” Shit. He was fucking up the plan. “I mean…”
“I’m pretty free. What works for you?”
“Uh…I need to get this paper down. But I’ve got time around lunch tomorrow. If I can get this turned in before tomorrow night, I’ll be free for Halloween. Would lunch work? Then if you don’t like me, we’re not committed to a night date?” He’d just talked himself out of a date. Shit.
“No good. I’m…in a class at lunch.” Anson draped his arm across the back of Parker’s chair. “I’m better at night.”
“Oh.” Anson didn’t strike him as a college student. “Which class? I could meet you at your building afterward.”
“Uh…it’s off campus at the sculpture building at the old farm.” Anson nodded. “You know, all of those power tools and bending machines. They can’t have it too close to campus in case one of the artists does something crazy.”
“I doubt that.” He turned in his seat to face Anson. “The worst you could do is burn down the building, but why? Performance art? Nah. You’re all careful. It’s a reason to be out there.” He wanted to touch Anson and prove to himself the man was real. He rested his forearms on his thighs instead. “I’ve never been to the arts building out there, so I wouldn’t know too much about it.”
“Oh? Why not?”
“No wheels.” Embarrassment washed over him. If his dorky personality wasn’t enough to push Anson away, his lack of a car would be the topper. “I had to sell my car to make my tuition payment. My job at the front desk at the student housing complex was cut.”
“That’s awful.” Anson didn’t pull away. He kept caressing Parker’s biceps.
“Unless I can find a sugar daddy or get some cash flowing from my writing, I’ll have to get a part time job over at the burger joint across from the student center. It’s not a bad job, but I’d rather be writing.” He smiled to hide how he felt—embarrassed, dejected, screwed over. He had to get more positivity into his life, but damn it. Life kept throwing him curveballs.
“You never told me what you write.” Anson wriggled his eyebrows. “Anything juicy?”
“No.” Here he wanted to be a writer and he hadn’t self-promoted. Bad Parker. “Science fiction with a little paranormal mixed in. It really depends on the day and my mood. I’ve got one about aliens invading the earth and this one is more paranormal.”
“Really?” Anson smiled.
Parker couldn’t read his expression. “You don’t like it? Too out there for you?”
“No, I’m fascinated.”
“You are?”

“I never got a chance to give you his rundown.” Alec grinned. “Since the waiting room is empty, I’ll just tell you now. No worms, no fleas, but I’d give him a bath. The weight loss helped but I’d also suggest getting Dragon on a tooth brushing regimen. He’s been eating things he probably shouldn’t that did a number on his gums. I ran a heartworm test which was negative and I’ve given him a pill for this month. When you come in next we’ll set you up right. Call, okay?” He winked and walked back into the closest exam room.
We’ll set me up? Call? He wanted me to call him? I hadn’t heard those terms in such a long time. Maybe my assumption more than fifteen years before had been more on the money than I thought. I shrugged him off back then. I could be over-thinking. Again.
I looked down at Dragon, who was sprawled on his side on the floor.  He gazed up at me with his droopy eyes and his tongue sticking out of his mouth. At least I had him back. What I’d do about my overzealous crush on the vet and his advances, well I hadn’t figured that out yet. I stress yet

Can an accident and a rim job lead to a lasting love?

He’s an ER doctor and doesn’t have time for commitment…that is until he runs over a curb and needs a new rim for his sports car. Matt Phillips equated dating with disaster, but sees himself as an eternal optimist. When he sees Aiden, he wants to give relationships a try. Every cell in his body screams to get the sexy doctor naked and in his bed. But Matt has demons and addictions he’s still working through. Will he fall prey to his past or learn and move forward with the hot doctor?
