Hump Day Humps ~ Best I Ever Had

Get more humps here!
Since it's been a while since I posted one of these, I thought I'd post Best I Ever Had. I got a fab review for this book and well, it deserves sharing.

Here's what Trully had to say:
Want saucy, juicy and a lot of raunchy? This book is the first I have read of its kind. The dynamics of all the relationships are superbly written. Having characters filling in the missing voids of each other while apart is one thing, but when they are together, it is a whole "nother" ball game. One you will see they each play differently. But, will the ball drop? Let us just say plenty of balls will drop, roll, and be fondled and twisted. You will like every moment as the fruit and nuts mix... to make a nice mixture of something tangy and sweet. These characters have some interesting personalities and hot bodies that you can smell as you read each word. This book gets 5 cups, because the steam felt from this novel does not compare to a hot cup of anything! It is direct, clear, and always keeps your attention." ~ Trully, Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance & More

BEST I EVER HAD
by Wendi Zwaduk

A Dirty Bits Short Novella

The objective—keep her safe. No one said anything about falling in love.

All she wanted was a pint of ice cream, not to be a witness to a double murder. Good thing Emma’s got not one, but two, sexy men willing to keep her safe. As long as she can keep her hands to herself.
Sam’s mission? To find the man responsible for the murder. He’s not going to rest until the streets are safe, even if it means having his best friend guard his best girl. It’s the best option, right?

Quint never dreamed he’d be attracted to his best friend’s lover…and his best friend. He’s got to keep his hands to himself all while figuring out what he wants from life, even if love equals Emma and Sam in Quint’s bed.

Is love in the cards or are they going to go up in flames before they get started?

Warning: Graphic language and adult situations; intended for age 18 and over.

And now for that Hump!

Emma collapsed on the bed. Her legs fell open. She never could resist his caress. “Take
me, Sam.”
“My girl still wants me. Halle-fucking-lujah.” Sam groaned. His voice dropped two octaves to a rough bass that made her womb quiver. “Jesus, I missed you.”
“Missed you, too.” Emma nodded. “Show me.” Her heart thrummed in her ears and her breath caught in her throat. She wanted him for the rest of her life. She dropped her hand from her breasts and guided him to her soaked cut off shorts. She should’ve felt exposed. Instead, she felt complete. “Right here, right now, Sam.”
Sam ripped the t-shirt up over his head, giving Emma teasing glances of the chiseled muscles of his chest. Her gaze followed the thin trail of crisp mahogany hair that disappeared below his belt to where the true pleasure lay trapped. Emma moved her knees, her hands sliding down her torso until she hooked her fingers into her waistband.
“That’s right, baby.” Sam tossed the discarded garments onto the floor. “I want to see all of you.”
Emma shrugged out of his shirt. The brisk air in the bedroom kissed her dewy skin. She fumbled with the zipper on her shorts. Sam grasped the frayed edge of her shorts and pulled. The scream of ripping denim ricocheted through the room. “No bottoms?” Sam crawled along her body and planted his knees on either side of her hips. He cupped her chin and nibbled her ear. “You shaved.”
Emma threaded one arm around his neck and spoke against his lips. “I like being bare.”
“I like you bare.” He took both her hands in one of his and arranged her on the bed. “You’re so wet.” His gaze seared her. “For me.”
“Sam?” Her heart pounded. “Make love to me, Sam. With Quint watching.” She held her breath. She’d known about Sam and Quint’s involvement for quite a while and she liked Quint. More than she should’ve. He’d hovered in her life for the past six months and become a fixture in most things she did. With him out of the room, things felt off. Yes, she loved her husband, but she loved Quint, too.
“I want Quint to watch,” she whispered. “I do.”
“Quint?” Sam dragged his fingers over her pussy lips. “You’re sure?”
“More than ever. He’s your lover, too. Why would I count him out?” The

Friday Flirts ~ News and Dates to Remember!!!

Whew! Been a long week, and I haven't even had the time to pay attention to that huge fantastic romance across the pond. I've got a bit o'news! I got the edits for Please Remember Me and I'm happy to say they are back and in the editors hands. Yay!!! I'm also darned proud to say the edits for What Might Have Been are also back in the hands of the editor. Double Yay!

And since I'm spreading the news...I got a release date for Ever Fallen in Love!! August 15th!! Can you tell I'm excited? Sure am!

I've still got at least one sub out there floating around. Can't wait to hear about it...I'd love positive news, but yanno, the chips will fall where they will.

My goal for this week is to get the Farmer really going. I keep saying I will and I keep falling down on the job. I don't really have an excuse. Just busy. So that's the plan. Get the farmer in shape so I can (hopefully) resub him. I'm sure he'd tired of being in the box waiting for his turn.

Some important dates:

* May 23rd is the release day for Please Remember Me from Total-E-Bound!

Another Review! You'll Think of Me - A Review!

So I opened my emails yesterday, and low and behold, the first review for You'll Think of Me. Pretty nice and lots of lovely compliments. Thanks Virginia!

Here's the review from Coffee Time (or you can read it here):

Melanie Roberts has just about given up hope that the soldier has waited so long for will come home and admit that he loves her and needs her. Not that this puts a damper on her feelings for him... but she knows that he will not settle for her love, at least not her love alone. She has taken steps to be able to walk away… but her body is begging her to stay.

Cade Nicholson has been injured and will not be going back to the battlefield again. He is home for good and injured. Feeling like he is no longer a whole man and haunted by the things he has seen, he longs to come home to Melanie, the one thing in his life that makes him feel safe. Will he be able to silence the demons that are tearing him apart and have the kind of relationship with her that she deserves?

Passion erupts as hot and fast as a wildfire and these two lovers are swept back into a relationship that mirrors the one they shared in the past. When a woman determined to steal Cade away from Melanie slides into the scene, claws at the ready to tear them apart, will their love be strong enough to stop her? Or will the ghosts of the war and mistakes of the past keep them apart?

A tender tale, blended using the trauma of a military man coming home to try to have a normal life and a woman who is ready to be strong for him when he needs it, You’ll Think Of Me is written with a harmonious mix of passion and love that is as achingly beautiful as the song it was named after. Cade encapsulates the many feelings a veteran has to deal with when trying to cope with life at home after the trauma of war, while Melanie is the kind of woman any soldier would love to come home to. Although parts of the story were somewhat repetitive and could have been tightened up, for the most part it was elegantly told and well rounded. An excellent story and I will look forward to more from this author’s creative pen.

*Warning: Graphic erotic scenes
