I Wanna Be Loved by You ~ Part Six

copyright C. 2011 Wendi Zwaduk

“My room is the second door on the right. Wait for me?”

Livia nodded to hide the trembling. Whatever he had to say to the other woman didn’t really bother her. She’d been around enough mortals to realize love lives were sticky. What bothered her was the look in Brett’s eyes. He knew something and down deep into her core she knew he wasn’t just some drunken frat boy.

She counted the doors and made her way into Tyler’s inner sanctum. Other than a poster on the wall, the room held no character, no insight into what made him tick. Beige walls, navy comforter on an enormous bed. Even the computer was blandly black. She sat down on the edge of his bed and stared at her reflection in the mirror. Her power paled along with her wings. When she set out to the party, the thought that her wings would be visible hadn’t crossed her mind. As far as she knew, they’d been torn from her body when she fell. Yes, she felt them from time to time, but all she had to show for them were the twin scars on her shoulder blades. What was it about Ty that made them so visible? She doubted a sexual relationship would be enough to reinstate them, if it was even possible.

“So it’s over?” The woman’s voice rose up an octave and grew louder. “I made a mistake.”

Whatever Ty said in return was garbled.

Livia rubbed her chilled arms. She shouldn’t eavesdrop. It wasn’t polite. She stretched her wings, then tucked the tight against her back. She sighed. At least she had them for a little while.

On the other side of the wall, something thumped. “Bastard.”

Livia peeked out the window. The woman stomped down the sidewalk, talking to herself and gesturing. “This time it’s done. I’m not coming back.”

A twinge of sadness stabbed at Livia’s heart. She knew the pain of a dead relationship. She’d been in the woman’s shoes.

“She does this at least once every couple months.”

Livia jumped and scooted away from the window. Ty stood in the doorway with his arms folded and lines crinkling around his eyes. Stress? She wasn’t sure. She should say something, but what?

“I knew when I dated her things would be rocky. I’m sorry you had to witness Rochelle being Rochelle.” He unfolded his arms and crossed the room. “Odd. For a moment, I thought you took your wings off.”

She glanced at the mirror. By God, they were back and at full luster. “Stranger things have been known to happen.” She’d explain what she knew later.

“Strange doesn’t bother me.” He stood and pulled her up against him. “On you, they look beautiful.”

“Flatterer.” Livia ran her hands up and down his chest. “You can keep going.”

“I intend to.” Ty fused his mouth to hers and threaded his fingers into her hair.
His cock throbbed against her pussy, despite the clothing between them. She moaned and wriggled her hips. The contrast of his hard body against hers felt like heaven. Like what she’d been looking for.

Ty released his grip on her hair and scooped her into his arms. Drunk on his kiss, she wrapped her legs around his waist. She gasped at the coolness on her back and wings.

“Can’t wait.” Ty placed her feet on the floor and fumbled in his back pocket. He tossed his wallet and put the rubber packet in his teeth. With deft hands, he shoved her skirt up over her hips.

Livia shivered as more cool air flowed around her sopping pussy. She worked the buckle on his belt and unfastened his jeans. Ty tore the packet as she took the condom from him. She rolled it down his length and stroked him.

“So good.” He pressed his face into her neck and pulled her back into his arms.

Her wings unfurled to their fullest span as he entered her slick channel. The breath wrenched from her body and her vision blurred. She dug her nails into his shoulders.

Each thrust, each push into her body brought her closer to completion.

His hips slammed into hers in a frenzy of lust and desire. She couldn’t breathe, but didn’t care. Her wings wrapped around them, cocooning them in the building passion.

Tyler’s rhythmic movements turned frenzied and a feral growl ripped from his throat. Every nerve ending in her body sizzled. The orgasm tingled in her pussy and rushed through her veins. She collapsed against the door and fought to catch her breath.
He placed her feet on the floor and rested his head on her shoulder. His labored breaths feathered over her flesh as her wings opened. He rubbed his cheek on the feathers and sighed.

“I’ve never...made love with most of my clothes on. I wanted to go slow.” He stood and righted her skirt. “Nothing went quite how I’d imagined, but I don’t think I’d want it any other way.”

“Me neither.” She placed her hand over his heart. Heat and love radiated between them. Maybe there was more to what they’d done than just a quickie against the door.

Ty cupped her cheeks in both hands and stroked her skin with the pad of his thumb. “Does this mean I get the chance to date you and treat you like you deserve?”
She stared into his eyes, waiting a moment before answering. The smile on his lips faded a bit.

“Too soon?”

Livia kissed him, laving her tongue over his lips. “Yes.”

His brows knotted. “Yes?”

“I fell once. Doesn’t mean I can’t fall again.”

“Hell, yes.”

I Wanna Be Loved by You ~ Part Five

copyright C. 2011 Wendi Zwaduk

“I hoped you’d say that.” Despite his calm exterior, Ty’s insides trembled. “But do you really want to make love with a party going on around us?”

“This is your home.” She nodded to the door. “Besides, I can kick anyone’s ass if they try something.”

Ty chuckled. She looked frail, but he had no doubt she could hold her own. He laced their fingers and guided her down the stairwell to the first floor. The tang of beer and sweat hung in the air. He crinkled his nose. Maybe bringing her to his room wasn’t such a good idea. Having an apartment on the ground floor rocked most of the time—just not when there was a rowdy party.

With her behind him, Ty pushed through the mass of people bobbing in his living room. How many people did his roommate invite? Five paces from the hallway he stopped short. Fuck. Rochelle slipped a lock of her inky hair behind her ear and pursed her lips. The Christmas lights decorating the living room glittered off the gloss on her cherry lips.

Livia crashed into his back, from the jostle of the crowd or because she didn’t realize he’d stopped, he wasn’t sure.

“Are you okay?” She squeezed his arm. “We can go slower.”

“No.” He gathered her in his embrace. If he wanted to face the demon in his life, he’d have to walk past Rochelle with his head held high. He pushed ahead, ready to get on with his life in peace.

“Got out of the way of a dancer?” Livia tipped her head, but didn’t move forward with him. “Or are you having a hard time dancing past your trouble?”

Ty fumbled for an answer. He opened his mouth, but never got the chance to reply. The scent of apple martini swirled around him, sickening his stomach.

“Tyler.” Rochelle wriggled, like she wanted him to see her assets. “I thought I’d find you here.”

“I live here.” He looked her straight in the eye. “It’s not hard to find someone where they live.”

“Still funny.” She elbowed past Livia and crowded Ty against the wall. “Dump the costumed frump and let’s get reacquainted.” Rochelle pressed her chest into his. “I miss you and the little General.”

He groaned. He hated that nickname. It was his penis. His junk, his manhood, not the little General.

“Don’t you miss me?” Her lips curved down into a frown. “You like the frump, don’t you?” Her top lip curled. “Since when did you start finding blondes hot?”

He glanced over Rochelle’s shoulder in search of Livia. Instead of waiting patiently, she kept backing away from Brett. Damn, the drunk hadn’t left.

Rochelle continued to speak, but Ty heard none of it. Brett knew how to be gentle. He’d managed to romance the clothes off of many a girl. But add in beer and whatever else he’d ingested—then the man was dangerous and uncontrollable. The moment Ty saw Brett’s hands on Livia’s arms, he saw red. Livia’s head jerked as Brett shoved her into the middle of the crowd.

“He likes her. Let them go.” Rochelle dug her nails into Ty’s forearm. “You have me.”
Ty shook away from her grasp and surged into the mob of dancers. Fuck this shit. The blur of Livia’s wings caught his eye.

“Come on, baby.” Brett clenched her breast in one hand and nuzzled her neck. “You owe me.”

Fear shone in her eyes. Livia glanced at Ty for a split second. Heaven help him, he wasn’t going to let anything happen to her.

The fear left her face and her mouth formed a tight line. “I owe you nothing.” Livia brought her knee up and connected with Brett’s groin. “Not now. Not ever.”

Brett’s face went red then white and he slumped over. “Fucking bitch. She burst my balls.” He wobbled and swayed. “I will kill you.”

Not on Ty’s watch. He grabbed Brett by the scruff of his neck and shoved him through the parted crowd. “Next time I tell you to go, do it.” He tossed Brett’s crumpled body out the front door. “Hell with it. The party’s going down the block to Nelson’s place. He’s got a new keg.”

Whoops and shrieks rang out in the room as the people thundered to the door. Forget the mess and the stench. He needed to find Livia. She still stood where Brett left her, but instead of the show of strength, she trembled. She looked up at him with watery eyes.

“I’m sorry I ruined your party, but I will not be a victim again.”

Ty crushed her in his embrace. There were so many things he needed to know, so many things he wanted to say, but in that moment, the party was the last thing on his mind. Hell, she saved his sanity.

“You didn’t ruin anything.” He stroked her hair and held her tight. “It was a stupid party anyway.”

“She’s still here,” Livia whispered.

Ty sighed. When one disaster died down, another always showed up. “Stick with me. I
owe you a good time. Okay?”

“I’m right here. Now deal with the woman scorned.”

If only Rochelle would make things easy.

Fat chance.

I Wanna Be Loved by You ~ Part Four

copyright C. 2011 Wendi Zwaduk

Had to be joking. He had to be. Yes, he embodied her fantasies and made her body react like never before, but...the honesty really was beginning to be too much. Love wasn’t in her future. She’d chosen her path long ago.

“So these wings are real?”

Ty’s simple question pulled her from her thoughts. “Yes.” She stretched her wings, showing off their full beauty. “Most of the time they aren’t visible. Must be the moonlight or something.” Or the company...

“May I touch them?”

Livia hesitated. A gentle touch wouldn’t harm anything...would it?

“I won’t do anything you don’t give me permission to do.”

Damn. There was the honesty again. She bit the inside of her cheek. What the hell... “You may touch them.”

Tyler caressed the leading edge of the wing, smoothing a feather between his
fingers. She shivered, enjoying his touch. Through the fabric of his jeans and her leather skirt, his cock thrummed against her pussy. Feelings of raw need and desire awakened from a long slumber deep within her. She shouldn’t want to, but more than ever she wanted to feel a man moving within her—him. God help her she wanted Tyler.

“Soft, like flower petals,” he whispered.

Heat flowed through her veins. “You amaze me with your kind words.”

“Yeah?” He started swaying with her in his arms, dancing to music only he could hear. “Maybe I’ve got a reason to be kind.” He took her hand in his once again and kissed her fingertips.

Things seemed to move in slow motion. For the first time in a long time someone was taking the time to romance her. The heat in her veins concentrated in her pussy and slickened her panties.

“There’s something about you I want to know very well. I really like you, Liv.”

She pulled her hand away and shoved the wonderful feelings way down deep into her stomach. She didn’t deserve him or his kindness. “I can’t make you immortal and I refuse to be a notch in your belt or headboard or whatever.” She turned to leave his arms, but his strong grasp prevailed.

“The man you fell for was foolish. He lost out and I’m damned glad.” Ty cupped her jaw in both hands. “This probably sounds like a lame ass pick up line, but I don’t want to fuck up my chance. I mean every word when I say I want to be loved by you.”

“You do?”

“Absolutely.” Ty closed eyes and lowered his lips to hers.

The moment his mouth fastened onto hers, Livia’s knees went weak. She clutched his shirt and nibbled on his bottom lip. Sizzles flew along her nerve endings and more cream coated her panties. She ground her core against his thigh, not caring if anyone saw her acting so forward.

Ty slid one arm down around her waist and stroked her wing with the fingers of his other hand. “Does touching your wings turn you on as much as I think it does?”

God, she couldn’t fall from grace all over again, but she could fall in love. Why was that thought so damned scary? Because being vulnerable wasn’t a place she liked to be.

“Livia? I’m not being kind because I want in your pants.” He rubbed his thumb along her chin. “I do very much want to make love to you, but I’d like to get to know you, too. You snagged my attention the moment you walked in the apartment and I don’t want to look anywhere else.”

“Have you had too much to drink or was the change in altitude too much?”

“I’m stone cold sober and height doesn’t bother me.”

“This is foolish.” I want you more than I even understand. Wanted his hands on her body, his cock filling her pussy and his kisses rough on her lips. He was such a riddle—soft and rough at the same time and nothing like she knew.

“This is two people finding each other.”

“You’re corny.”

“Maybe, but I’m willing to believe a fallen angel didn’t just come to my part to watch college kids get drunk and have lots of sex. I think she didn’t know how or why—she just had to be there.”

“Take me to your room.”

Flirty Friday

I love Flirty Friday because I get to share what's new and next for me as a writer. Today, I'm being interviewed on CR Moss' blog!! Yeah! Click here to read it. I'm stoked. She was here on Wednesday. If you didn't read the interview, well, you should. It was fun.

What else is new? I'm doing NaNo. Yup. Sicko that I am, I'm going to give it a whirl. Why? I don't actually have a novel ready to write. Yeah, I need to get either Summer or Maggie's story written, but they aren't talking. So what am I gonna do? This should prolly stay a secret, but I'm positive I am not the only person to do this. I've got three shorts that need done. One that's 25k (or should be), another that's the same length, and one that's roughly 16k. Kinda need to get those going. So...NaNo here I come! Megan's joining me, so it should be a blast. Still not sure what's up with Gypsy, but really, the girl dances - literally - to her own drum, so anything is possible.

That's all for now. Check out the interviews. You'll be glad you did!

Thursday Ramblings

I happened to be at my totlet's school, picking the totlet up when as I waited, I saw a teen dressed in something that was remarkably like what I wore in high school.

I lived in my flannel. Warm, snuggly, layers over everything. So much fun. Oh, and it's cheap.

I was never really into Smashing Pumkins, but hey, we all have our quirks.
But everyone had this shirt.

I've never been able to wear skinny jeans. I'm too curvy for them. But still.

But in my case, they folded down because the leather got soft and gave way. We didn't BUY them folded.

Why am I rambling about it? Well, I thought this stuff went out in oh, 1999. I didn't realize that flannel was making the comeback with the remastered Pearl Jam albums. Maybe this is why my parents, Mom in particular, thought I was crazy for wearing some of the garish stuff they thought was cool back in 1974. Sigh. Is this a sign I'm getting old? Or is it just fashion, even bad fashion, never dies?

In closing, We're screwed if neon, the scrunchie, and plastic clothing comes back into vogue.

Another Thursday Rambling

Going the way of the Dinosaur?

E-Readers
The e-reader has already undergone significant changes in its short history, evolving from a product with a keyboard to one with a touchscreen and more recently being integrated into a kind of a tablet-hybrid, but according to Golvin, the market for e-readers will mostly disappear by the end of the decade.

“The tablet will largely supplant the e-reader in the same way that the iPod increasingly gets displaced by smartphones,” Golvin says. “Tablets will take on the e-reader function of handling magazine, newspaper and book reading.” In essence, spending money on an e-reader that can only handle reading when tablets can do this and more will come to seem as useless as buying a GPS system that can only look up directions when other technology does this as well.

Just how small the e-reader market becomes may depend somewhat on advancements in display technology. One of the biggest incentives for consumers to buy a pure e-reader is to have an e-ink display (like reading from a book) rather than a backlit display (like reading from a computer screen), but according to Golvin, manufacturers are already working on ways to merge the two reading experiences and create a tablet that doubles as an authentic e-reader.

Even then, there may be still be some e-readers on the market at the beginning of next decade, but not many.

“It could be that by 2020 you can still buy a super cheap e-reader for $20, but by and large, the volume of sales will be so close to zero as to be indistinguishable, like CD players are now,” he says.

Author Interview with C.R. Moss

This week's interview is my pal, C.R. Moss. She's talkiing about her newest book and lots of other fun things. Read on!

Welcome, C.R. What was your favorite scene to write in Wild West Weekend?

~ The scene on the rock at the pond when she has him strip and blindfolds him and then they have some naked time together out in nature.

That sounds inspiring. What was the inspiration behind Wild West Weekend?
~ A vacation at a working ranch & my muse started asking, “What if?”

What is the most interesting thing you’ve done in the name of research?
~ I took a cruise, went horseback riding in the jungles of Mexico and checked out Mayan ruins. At the time I wasn’t really researching, but then when I started writing a couple of stories I realized the trip would fit into them. It was the same with a stay on a working ranch.

I grew up on a farm and it factored into my stories, too. What do you consider as the most frustrating side of becoming a published author and what has been the most rewarding?
~ Most frustrating galleys and waiting for the book to come out. Most rewarding: having readers love my work.

What accent inspires you to do naughty things?
~ Love British and Australian accents… mmm…

Gerard Butler can read me the phone book... So can Ewan McGregor... Back to the questions while I get a fan. Name something readers would be surprised to learn about you?
~ I used to be a dancer…jazz, ballet, tap.

Cool! If you could ask the readers one question what would it be?
~ What one genre is your all-time favorite?

What’s your writing process like?
~ I do what I call an information dump. Get whatever is in my mind about the story out on paper as fast as I can. Some might say it’s outlining, plotting or a first draft. Call it what you will. ;) Then I’ll flesh out the story from the information dump. Once it’s fleshed out and I’ve gone through it, the story goes to my critique partners for their read through. Any suggestions they make I decide whether or not to implement, and I go through the story once more. After all that, I format the doc as per the publisher’s requirements, create the query and synopsis & send off the submission package.

Sounds way more planned out than my jotting in the notebook and writing furiously. I send to CPs but you sound way more planned. What can readers expect next from you?~ I have a short story, Chasing Miss Kringle, coming out in Evernight Publishing’s 2011 holiday anthology.

What is the best thing about being a writer? The worst?
~ Best: Working for myself & readers loving the stories. Worst: Rejections & negative reviews

My next question I should've asked was how to deal with those negative reviews. Those are a pain, absolutely. So, what is your method of breaking through writer’s block?~ Take a bath, light some incense, listen to some music. I’ve even taken naps and woken up with the answers to the issues I was facing in some stories.

Me, too! Plotting in the shower or on the riding lawn mower. What fuels you as an author to continue to write?
~ The voices in my head… The fact that this is what I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember, and if I’m not writing, I’m not happy.

Can you tell us a bit about what book(s) you have coming out next and what you’re working on now?
~ My next release is a short story, Chasing Miss Kringle, coming out in Evernight Publishing’s 2011 holiday anthology. My writing partner and I are working on the second Wild West book, and I’m working on a four book contemporary erotic romance series.

When you get a chance to read, what books do you love to read?
~ I have a very eclectic taste when it comes to books. I’ve read stuff from sci-fi, to horror, to suspense, romance, literary classics… It all depends upon my mood. Recently I’ve been going back and forth between a few stories – erotic romance, military romantic suspense, and dark fantasy romance.

Now for the rapid fire questions. What bores you as a reader?
~ Fluff. The stuff that doesn’t really pertain to the story.

What is your favorite feature on a person?

~ Eyes and teeth.

What is your favorite time of day?

~ Nighttime

What music gets you dancing?
~ Don’t know about dancing. Used to dance…not so much anymore. ;) What can get me moving though is music with a good beat, whether it’s country, pop, alternative, etc.

Aliens have landed on the planet. What are the three things you would tell them that are great about this planet?
~ The food, the Arts, the Wonders of the World

You have been locked in a mall and told you can get anything you want and when they open in the morning you won’t have to pay a single cent. What stores would you hit? Better question how would you haul away all your loot?
~ I’d hit up one of the department stores or sporting goods stores and find some canvas and poles and rig up a litter to carry the stuff. Maybe attach a couple of skateboards to it so it moves with ease and I don’t get tired pulling it. Then I’d go to the clothing stores and shoe stores and get new outfits and all the flip flops and sandals I can find. Next I’d stop in at the jewelry stores and get some bling and all the watches I can find. I’d like it if an optometrist was around so I could get several pairs of glasses too. If there was time, I’d go to the novelty stores for bed, kitchen, body and tech stuff.

You cover all the bases. :-) If you could share one major writing tip, to help other writers in their quest for publication, what would it be?
~ Be prepared. Learn the basics of the craft – the how-to stuff – and brush up on how to market yourself.

If you could write in any other genre what would it be, and why?
~ I’ve thought about inspirational…maybe YA… Why not?

Never know until you try. Where can we find out more about you and your work?
~ Find C.R. at:
Website: www.crmoss.net
Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/crmoss
Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/crmoss
Blog: http://crmoss.blogspot.com/

And finally, have you got a sneak peek excerpt from your current work in progress you can share with my readers and me? The hotter the better!

Wild West Weekend ~ Double D Ranch Tales, 1

Two people scared to love again. Two others hesitant about commitment. A weekend in Nevada will change all that.

Bristol Ashcombe is swearing off men and taking a vacation with her friend, Cassie. Damon Dougan is packed and ready to leave the ranch for a trip, that is, until a long-legged, sexy woman steps out of a vehicle and he decides to stay. Will one sex-filled weekend be enough for either of them?

Cassie Harding travels to the Double D ranch to meet Bristol and looks forward to seeing her old friend, Dakota. Dak’s excited when Cassie, his former sweetheart, returns. Cassie and Dakota, though they’re heating up ‘the sheets’ in and out of the bedroom, have fears about commitment after years of being single. Will they find it’s better to dance together than apart?

Be Warned: light bdsm, sex toys.

Bristol & Damon ~
Bristol reached for his hand, tucked it comfortably between hers. “I want to go back to the love shack and fuck. I mean sex. No, what I mean is have lots of sex. With you and me.” She really needed to stop drinking as well as speaking. Soon.
A sly grin slid across his face. His eyes sparkled with lust. “With you I like make love. It sounds better for you and me.” He leaned in close to her, his breath warmed her cheek. “Tell me again how you would like to take me back to the cave and have sex with me.”
Was it the booze that had her inhibitions running wild and free, had her saying things she couldn’t have ever imagined coming from her mouth? Plain and simple, she wanted the fuck part, not just the making love that consisted of gentle and boring. “I want you to fuck me, Damon. You’ve been kind and gentle, but I want more with you, I want so much more. I want the animal in you to release the animal that I know is somewhere inside me waiting for the right man to set it free. And it’s not the booze talking it’s me, the real me.”
His lips touched her hand. “The booze may have pushed you a bit, but I do believe the vixen in you is ready to shine. I’m going to set that animal inside you free, darlin’. I promise.”
During the drive, then short walk back to the cave, Damon held Bristol’s hand. They’d made it back in forty-five minutes with their scattered stops to kiss, grope each other, and Damon removing most of her clothes.
They came to a halt at the ladder.
“Stop.” Damon put his hands on her hips, and caged her between him and the ladder. His lips covered hers as his hands slid the last article of clothing she wore, her underwear, down her legs. Once the panties hit the ground, she stepped out of them, and he lifted her to sit on the third step of the ladder, spreading her legs with his knee.
A primal passion filled Bristol to the point she felt like she was drowning. She put her arms around his neck and placed her lips against his.
His finger found its way into her pussy. Slowly, he slid the finger in and out. The cicadas took up their nightly song as the desert night breeze brought her nipples to attention. He inserted a second finger inside her and moved his lips to her neck, sucking the area below her earlobe.
A nice hickey would probably await her in the morning. Hopefully several. “Take me, Damon,” she ordered in a husky voice, unbuttoning his shirt. “Take me out here in nature.”

Cassie & Dakota ~
He shifted, moved out of the tub and knelt next to it. Holding up a washcloth, he instructed her to sit back.
She reclined again, closed her eyes. Slow and steady, the material caressed her shoulders, her neck, skimmed down to her chest. With gentle movements, he washed her body, always making sure, much to her chagrin, only cloth touched her skin. The fabric, under his strong competent hand, danced along her chest, down and around her legs, graced her crotch. Her nipples hardened with desire, peaked in the water. She arched her back.
A low, seductive chuckle rolled from him. “Impatient, my dear?”
Through half-open eyelids, she gazed at him. She wanted him with an intensity that shocked her. The desire wasn’t just for the sex either. It was for the connection that would occur, the joining of their emotions, the merging of their souls while they loved and created a beautiful bond between them. “Why, yes, I am.” Cassie reached out and ran the palm of her hand down the mid-line of his chest.
Dak grasped her hand, kissed the backs of her fingers. “What about your hair?”
“Already washed today.” She slid her gaze down to his sexy lips. A tiny sigh escaped her. Before she could take her next breath, he clasped the back of her head, claimed her lips with his own.
His free hand slipped into the water and fondled her breast as his lips moved sensuously upon hers. She reached up, took his head in her hands and threaded her fingers in his silky hair. Their tongues warred and sparred in ardent foreplay. She wished the tub wasn’t between them.
She pulled away, observed his darkened and hooded gaze fill with desire. As they stared into each other’s eyes, he massaged the back of her head while the other hand moved to the junction between her thighs. He stroked and tweaked her clit, slid a finger within her slit. Her mind whirred with passion. She moaned and writhed as he brought her to the edge of ecstasy and over the cliff. Her body tensed, vibrated with release.
Her breath caught in her throat. No man had ever done what he had. None had ever watched her with such rapture, looked at her with such devotion, while she came. He cupped her face, pecked her forehead with a kiss.
“God, Catherine, you’re beautiful. I want to make love to you, cherish you, treat you like a goddess. I want this experience to be different than what you’re used to, no domination or submission or kinky role playing. Just two people loving each other. Can you handle that?”

Daisy Harris is here with Studenstein!

Daisy Harris

The fantabulous Daisy Harris is here today to talk about her book, Studenstein. Now I don't know about you, but the title alone nabbed me. I can't wait to read this book. Now, want something just as cool? A GC to BN.com, maybe? Comment and comment often! The more you comment, the better your chances. But we're here to talk about Miss Daisy, so let's get this party started!!!

Hi Daisy! I couldn't wait for your stop! What was your favorite scene to write in Studenstein?

Without a doubt, the funnest scene to write was the pegging. I had to do research, and a lot of imagining. The scene was sexual, but was really about the forming connection between the hero and heroine. In the end, the act itself wasn’t the focal point, but instead the transformation in the heroine and how she feels about the hero.
Plus, pegging! How fun is that?

Isn't it fun to play with the roles in a relationship to see what happens? What was the inspiration behind Studenstein?

I love the idea of “the perfect man.” I also adore male-prostitute stories, especially when the male in question sort of likes being a prostitute. Bones, from Jeanniene Frost’s Night Huntress series was one of my favorite heroes ever, and my entrĂ©e into the world of slutty men.

Yes! How cool. What is the most interesting thing you’ve done in the name of research?

Well, in Mere Passion, my hero and heroine had sex on a snowmobile. This made sense for the story, as it was set in the Arctic. However, I’ve never been on a snowmobile and had a hard time imagining the positioning. So I went out to the front of our house and experimented with our Yamaha Vino scooter. I lay across it a few different ways, trying to imagine a much larger vehicle.

Then I asked fellow author Camryn Rhys to read the scene for me. She’s from the frozen north and had lots to say about sex in the snow.

Hey, whatever works. Plus I'm sure it sparked the imagination. What do you consider as the most frustrating side of becoming a published author and what has been the most rewarding?

The hardest part of being published is the marketing. There’s so much more involved in promoting one’s books than I ever could have imagined! That’s why folks like you are so great for hosting guest-bloggers. It can be hard to get the word out.

The most rewarding part is fan mail. OMG, there’s nothing better than receiving an email from a happy reader!

Yes! I love to host other authors and plus, I love fan mail. Let's get to something naughty but fun. What accent inspires you to do naughty things?

Huh, I’m not a huge accent girl. Oh, but Aiden Turner, the Irish actor from Being Human, has the best voice on the planet! He’s my current not-so-secret crush.

My man obsession is Eric Szmanda on CSI. I get you. Name something readers would be surprised to learn about you?
Ooh, that’s a toughie! I’m pretty sure no one can be shocked by anything I do anymore. LOL.

Well, it might surprise folks that the first romance novel I ever read was Twilight. (That’s not counting Clan of the Cave Bear and Flowers in the Attic as a kid.) I started reading YA, urban fantasy, and then paranormal romance in 2008. Then I started writing romance in 2010.

I have to laugh. I thought I couldn't shock anyone and then I met the girls at the Menagerie. I'm finding I can still shock once in a while. If you could ask the readers one question what would it be?

“What’s your favorite book?”

What’s your writing process like?

I brainstorm first—handwriting pages and pages of notes. Then I do a quick-and-dirty outline of one sentence per scene. I write between 1000 and 5000 words per day until I have a draft, then do revisions. My revision process is extremely involved! I do multiple read-throughs, create notecards for each scene, cut, paste, cut some more. I’m more of a re-writer than a writer. No one in their right mind would ever want to read one of my first drafts!

But you know what's what so that's all that matters. Grin. What can readers expect next from you?

Currently I’m revising the next book in my Love-Bots series, tentatively named Built 4 It. It’s a male-male stein story and set in a lab. After that, I’ll probably write at least one more Love-Bot novella, possibly as many as three more.

After that? Hm. I have a vampire story set in East Hampton, NY running around in my brain. But I don’t know if I’ll actually write it. Then there’s a vampire orthodontist tale… Maybe a gay vampire orthodontist in East Hampton? We’ll have to see.

Can't say you don't have lots of ideas! What is the best thing about being a writer? The worst?

The best thing is losing yourself in a story. There’s nothing, absolutely nothing in the world as awesome as getting lost in telling a tale.

The worst thing? I guess the promotional part. I’d rather write, write, write turning out great books that make people smile.

I hear you. I'd love to be able to write and have someone else promo, but that requires lots of cash I don't have on hand. Speaking of writing, what is your method of breaking through writer’s block?

I don’t really get writer’s block, per se. Sometimes I get worn out, though. I have a tigger-esque personality where I think, think, think and then WRITE like I’m spring-loaded. I routinely over-work myself and then collapse in a heap. But I’ve learned to respect the process. Usually a nap and a couple days of reading re-fuels my creativity and I’m ready to WRITE like a fiend again.

Cool. I follow the muses (i have a male and a female muse...long story) and I let them run. What fuels you as an author to continue to write?

The desire to make money? LOL. Truth is, I was a technical writer for years before I ever started writing fiction. So I’m accustomed to turning out words every day. I don’t know what I would do with myself if I didn’t write most days. Sometimes I have nightmares about my nails getting too long so I can’t write! I wake up in a cold sweat.

LOL! Can you tell us a bit about what book(s) you have coming out next and what you’re working on now?

After Studenstein, my next book will be Built 4 It. I’m pretty sure the next one after that will be One Night Steined—a story I originally wrote as a subplot in Love-Bots 1: Lust After Death. But after that? Lord if I know! Maybe the East Hampton Vampires?

I’m not much of a planner. As it is, I generally write one book at a time, and never plan more than a couple ahead. Maybe when I become famous I’ll have a longer lead-time on my production schedule. But for now, the thought of planning scares me!

I'm always worried if I pitch something that's not done, either it will be accepted and I won't be able to pull off what I pitched or I won't be able to meet the deadline. I hate/love deadlines. When you get a chance to read, what books do you love to read?

Paranormal! My favorite stories are paranormal and scifi erotic romances with a straightforward conflict and a well-drawn theme. Lately, I love the works of Charlotte Stein. Oh, and I love novellas because I can zing through them in a night before bed.

What bores you as a reader?

Werewolves. I’ve never really understood the whole furry-shifter thing. Kresley Cole wrote the only werewolves that I’ve really liked to date. Oh, and series that go on for too long. I like series that run from 3-5 books. After that they tend to feel “stale” to me.

Food for thought. What is your favorite feature on a person?

Eyes! I’m a fool for big, brown eyes.

What is your favorite time of day?

Late afternoon/early evening. I get my best writing done then.

Me, too. What music gets you dancing?

80’s hip-hip. I’m a sucker for Salt n Pepa, Beastie Boys, Run DMC. I like Flo Rida and Pit Bull, but otherwise that’s about it for “new” music.

I like me some Beastie Boys on occasion. Now for a far out question. Aliens have landed on the planet. What are the three things you would tell them that are great about this planet?

Ethiopian food, rap music, Wikipedia

You have been locked in a mall and told you can get anything you want and when they open in the morning you won’t have to pay a single cent. What stores would you hit? Better question how would you haul away all your loot?

Oh man, I’m easily overwhelmed by too many choices. And my house is tiny! We literally don’t have a single closet. So I’m very careful about what I buy. I suppose I’d see if they had a Barney’s or Tiffany’s. Then I’d find the 5-10 most expensive things I could find that I actually liked. I’d take them home in my Chevy Aveo.

Hee hee. That would be funny to see your car packed with stuff. You wouldn't have room for you! If you could share one major writing tip, to help other writers in their quest for publication, what would it be?

Take Holly Lisle’s How To Revise Your Novel course! I love this course, and use the notes every single time I set out to revise a story. The very first novella I ever wrote got contracted because of this class.

If you could write in any other genre what would it be, and why?

Hm. I could see shifting to sci-fi from paranormal, but otherwise I imagine I’ll stay where I am—writing sexy, romantic paranormal novellas. Sure, I hope someday to write something that transcends the genre. But if I do, I imagine it’ll be along the lines of Tom Robbins—quirky, sexy fun.

All you want to know, vitalstats-wise on Miss Daisy Harris:
Birkenstock-wearing glamour girl and mother of two by immaculate conception, Daisy Harris still isn’t sure if she writes erotica. Her paranormal romances start out innocently enough. However, her characters behave like complete sluts. Much to Miss Harris’s dismay, the sex tends to get completely out of hand.

If you like science-y subplots, fantastical creatures, and red-hot chemistry, you’ll love Daisy Harris.

Studenstein (Book two in the Love-Bots series)
Here's the blurb:A man built for sex… A woman who wants more…

Freedom fighter Shani Brown is determined to drag the ungrateful Royce back to her team in Seattle. Despite his denial of mistreatment, she wants to give him a chance at a better life. Due to her horrific past as an unlicensed love-bot, Shani never plans to have sex again. But Royce’s makers punish him remotely with crippling pain. His only escape is to orgasm. Never one to turn her back on a job, Shani soon finds herself servicing him—and soon after, caring for him.

Love-bot Royce Harden wasn’t looking to be rescued, especially not from the San Francisco BDSM club where he was having a perfectly good time. But rescued he was—by a hellcat bent on delivering him to her people. As Royce starts to trust Shani, he begins to dream of freedom. But freedom comes with a price. Royce must face his vanity, his makers, and even the loss of his sexual upgrades if he’s going to be the man Shani deserves.

And an excerpt for fun!!

Shaniqua! You stop thinking about that boy’s butt right this second! Shani didn’t know where that voice in her head came from, since she’d never had a mother in her undead life. But yeah, that voice in her head, her “superego” Frank called it, always called her by her full name.

So as she led Royce around the outside of the building, Shani focused on the quiet ticks of birds, the rustle of leaves, anything to take her mind of those little dimples that had shown right below his hipbones, or his deep and intriguing groan. As they walked, Shani calculated their distance from the van. Q-ter’s transmitter would only block Royce’s signal within one city block. The bathrooms weren’t all that far away, but Shani wasn’t accustomed to greenery and open space. Without urban landmarks, she didn’t trust her sense of distance.

His biceps flexed under her grip—not pulling away, but maybe trying to warn her he could. Shani’d touched Royce more in the past few hours than she’d touched any man since her captivity. She wanted to think it was because the assignment demanded she lead him about—gripping his firm upper arm—in case he tried to escape, but that voice in her head knew better.

Shaniqua! Let go of the boy-toy! In the dark, his skin felt warm and hard in her hand. It was a relief when she blinked in the bright halogen lights of the ladies’ room. No matter how pretty or tempting Royce Harden might be, Shani would never be able to stomach having sex again. And almost but not doing would be worse than never having tried at all.

And now, some snoggin'!

She stared at him with wide eyes. She’d been hurt before, he wasn’t sure how, but the pain resonated deep in the blue orbs. He’d like to kill the bastard who had ribboned her dignity. Had he been any better, acting like she should fall at his feet because he told her so? Or maybe he should mention her gift and really drive her away… No, he sensed something stronger with Samara, something destined.

He shored up his courage. With Felicity, he believed the lies. For Samara, he’d be completely honest. “I wanted you to come along tomorrow, but not because you were forced. I know you’re a damned good camera tech. Why Tony had you moved to the cubicles is beyond me.”

“From what I’ve heard, he gets off on torture.” Samara shrugged and toyed with the brick in the amber retaining wall, scraping her thumbnail over the rough surface. “Look, I’m game for the investigation. You don’t have to beg or inflate my ego.”

He crunched the paper in his grip. “The waiver is a formality in case we get hurt.” His heart ached in his chest. Maybe he did like women who were out of his league, but dammit, he wanted Samara too much to ignore the feeling that she was more than just another female. “I wanted you to come along because I like you and I’d like for you to like Ryan, not the Ryan Black. Does that make sense?”

The faintest hint of a smile fluttered on her kissable mouth. “You’ve stepped through too many cobwebs. They’ve fuzzed your brain.”

Ah, the sass returned. He hooked his fingers under her chin, thrilled by the tiny gasp as she parted her lips. “For one of the few times in my life, my mind is perfectly clear.” Without thinking any further, he feathered a kiss over her mouth and bit back a groan. Damn, she felt good. Like a woman should, sweet, sassy, and soft in his hands. He closed his eyes and pushed the kiss further, tasting her. Honey, pure feminine honey. When she wound her arms around his neck, he fought off the urge to jump for joy. The one woman he wanted to desire him seemed like she did!

With languid strokes, he caressed her back and cupped the base of her skull. Samara Jacobs embodied calm and restraint, but her kiss intoxicated him like the finest whisky. The denim of his jeans pulled tight over his erection. He could almost imagine the velvet of her body as he slid into her pussy. Fuck yes, he liked her, probably more than he should.

He pushed into her mind for a split second, just to see if he could.

Ryan Black is kissing me!

Holy fuck. If he could hear her thoughts as if they were his own, then she was the one. His true Spirit Mate. Life couldn’t get better.

When he broke the kiss, Samara’s warm breath skittered over his cheeks. He had her on edge as much as he was—nice. She smoothed her hands down his chest, splaying them across his pecs. “You make it hard to think.”

“So do you.”

I Wanna Be Loved by You ~ Part Three

copyright C. 2011 Wendi Zwaduk

Fallen angel? Come on. She had to be drunk. Sure the wings were darned realistic, but maybe he was drunk, too. He hadn’t had anything alcoholic in almost three years, but still. They’d flown. He plopped down onto a roof vent.

Livia rubbed her hands over her bare arms. “Too much?” She sighed and looked away. “That’s my thing, too much, too soon and over my head.”

Ty sat forward with his elbows on his knees and watched her turn away from him. Her wings did move, fluttering slightly and tucking tighter against her back. The movement oddly soothed him.

“One of these millennia, I’ll learn to use my head not my heart.”

Ty stood and crossed the few feet between them. He needed to say something. “Come on, you can’t be a fallen angel. They have darker wings and don’t just fall out of the sky—or are you one of those underwear models I asked for last night before I fell asleep?”

She didn’t turn around. “I didn’t tumble out of the sky.”

“Damn. I wanted to see you in the rest of your underwear.” He brushed his fingers down the leading edge of her wing, marveling when she shivered slightly. I seriously hope this isn’t a dream or a joke. He continued to make his way around her and tipped his head to look into her downcast eyes. “You can smack me. That was a horrible joke.”

“I fell in love.”

He’d heard her speak. Understood the words. And yet... “With me?” he pinched the bridge of his nose and gritted his teeth. Stupid.. “I mean...no, you don’t have to explain. Really.” He folded his arms. “It’s my luck. The first hot girl I really want to meet and there’s a catch. I swear.”

“His name was Isaiah.” Livia sank down next to him on the air vent. A lock of her flaxen hair slipped across her eyes. She folded her hands in her lap, but it didn’t hide the tremble.

Ty slipped his hand under hers and wrapped his fingers around hers. She traced the lines of the veins along the back of his hand. “He was so charismatic...knew the right lines, touched me when I needed it.” Her hand stopped moving. “I was sent to guide him through life, to keep him from getting hurt and what did I do? I fell in love with him and failed.”

He couldn’t not touch her. No matter how much he told himself making a move would be disastrous. “How, Liv? I don’t think you know how to fail.”

“Really?” She stared at him with moist eyes and her voice came out husky in a way that resonated to his core. “It wasn’t love.” She cleared her throat, making her voice deeper. “I found out after I’d fallen, he only wanted immortality. I was so in a rush to feel...something. I wanted his touch, his kisses, admiration and to enjoy a physical relationship. I left my charge to be with him and it was a mistake.”

Somehow he doubted anything about her was true mistake. So she didn’t know her true calling yet. Who really knew what they were meant to do from the get-go? He sure didn’t.

A song played in his head. Yes, he’d only just met her but he refused to believe their meeting was nothing more than a simple chance. He’d been looking for a woman just like her for so long he’d almost given up.

“What if the mistake was a way to get you to the place you belonged?”

“Like learning a lesson so you appreciate what you’ve got?”

“Yeah, just like that.” Ty stood and tugged her up into his arms. He began to sway, brushing his cheek against her temple. “Like bumbling along the road of broken dreams, not knowing at the time it was all important to what you’re supposed to do later on.”

She settled tighter in his arms. “You’re wise for a college man, or you’ve really practiced your come-on lines.”

“I don’t have any pick-up lines.” He let go of her hand and wrapped both arms around her back, below the wings. “If I’m so smart, then why do I feel so fucked up in your presence? I want to impress you, not make you think I’ve lost my mind.” He stopped swaying and gazed into her eyes. God, he could get lost there forever. “This sounds crazy, but I wanna be loved by you.”

Flirty Friday and a Review Link!

So Treble was reviewed by Miz Loves and I do believe it was a hit! Here's the link:
http://www.mizlovelovesbooks.com/2011/10/treble-by-desiree-holt-lisabet-sarai.html

The Pwoar Factor: "Parkur in Savin’ Me: The more emotional of the two men, he tugged at the old heart strings and proved that when you’re broken-hearted, sometimes it doesn’t enhance the muse but hinders it. When love returns, so do the words and the feeling of being complete. Ah!"

Verdict: "Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot! Treble delivers not only hot sex scenes but each tale is a fine one, rich in descriptive writing and plot. With each story you get the whole package. Yes, the sex is very much there, but it doesn’t overrule the story itself and never intrudes as sex for the sake of it. I liked that. "

Pretty Darn Cool.

In other news, still working on Gypsy, Felicity and Berto and Remi. Sigh. Not enough hours in the day to keep my muses happy. I'm taking part in lots of things coming up, so stay tuned.

On to writing to keep the muses from mutiny. :-)

Thursday... What To Blog About....

I never know what to post on Thursdays. Why? It's a crazy day for me. Family needs me more. My time is precious on Thursdays and well, I run out of blogging ideas. Sad.

I'd do Thursday thirteen... but I'd like to stay original or more original. I've done some book reviews, but I'm an author, not a primary reviewer. I don't want to hurt feelings either. Most all of the books I read, I love.

I don't want to do a rambling post. I tend to soapbox, especially when my totlet needs picked up from school. Don't get me started on parents at a school when it's releasing...

Random hot guys is Tuesday... Friday is for Flirts and updates. Mondays are for author interviews/Monday Moans Character interviews. Hmm...

I'm always looking for ideas and suggestions. Thoughts? Bad jokes? How's the weather where you are? Let me know. :-)

What was your favorite scene to write in STILL TAKING CHANCES?

I loved writing the very first scene. It’s always my favorite to write because the adventure is just beginning for me, and my characters. In the opening scene of STILL TAKING CHANCES, Elgin is returning home after a 15-year absence. His last mission in a South American jungle went horribly wrong, for which he blames himself. And while he was there, his only relative – the grandmother who raised him, passed away. His pain and his loneliness spoke to me as I wrote that first scene. I just had to find a way for him to be happy.

What was the inspiration behind STILL TAKING CHANCES?

The idea began with a name. One day the name Elgin Huddleston popped into my head and I couldn’t ignore it. I know this might make me a candidate for a padded room in normal circles, but writers will think this isn’t unusual at all! It took me a while to figure out who Elgin was, but I think I got him right.

What is the most interesting thing you’ve done in the name of research?

Most of my research is deadly dull. Though I do get to shop for some interesting sex toys. The most fun was visiting the Museum of Sex in NYC. It’s surprisingly well done, and a legit museum with some very interesting exhibits. I took my husband with me. I learned a lot, and got to watch him blush every few minutes! If you ever get a chance to visit, don’t miss the Aphrodisiac Bar in the basement.

What do you consider as the most frustrating side of becoming a published author and what has been the most rewarding?

Frustrating? Hmm… I can’t think of a single thing! As for rewarding, that’s easy. You know how you feel when you tell a joke and everyone laughs? You know you told it right and you remembered the punch line, and you feel on top of the world. You entertained your friends, and their laughter and smiles are your affirmation. Well, that’s exactly how I feel when a reader emails me, or leaves a great review for one of my books. I know I told a story they enjoyed, and for a few hours, I made their life better. That’s the most rewarding thing in the world. It makes me want to tell another story, and another…

What accent inspires you to do naughty things?

I love a slow, Southern drawl. It makes me think of other things best done slow.

Name something readers would be surprised to learn about you?

Oh gosh! Readers would probably be surprised about lots of things. I’ve been married to the same guy for thirty-three years, and we have two grown daughters. I’m probably as far from being the stereotype of an erotic romance author as a person could get.

If you could ask the readers one question what would it be?

I’d ask them to tell me about their day. I’m always curious what people are up to and love to hear their stories. People go through their usual routines, and tend to miss the little instances in their day that make that one different than all the others.

What’s your writing process like?

Some writers plan every scene and chapter before they write a single word. That’s not me. I usually take an idea, like the name that inspired this book, and work it over in my mind for a while. I form the characters and setting in my mind, then I decide where to begin their story and how I think it should end. Then I start writing. I never know what exactly is going to happen in between. I let the characters lead me toward their happily ever after.

What can readers expect next from you?

I’ve got several things in the works, including a few non-erotic stories I’m dying to tell. I’ve never written a historical, but I’ve got an idea for an erotic historical I might try my hand at.

What is the best thing about being a writer? The worst?

The very best thing about being a writer are all the people I’ve met, writers and readers both. Romance writers are the nicest, most caring people you will ever meet, and I’ve never met one who wasn’t willing to extend a helping hand to a new author. I’m constantly amazed at the generosity of my fellow romance writers.

The worst thing…sitting on my behind for days, weeks, months, working. I know, nearly everyone does that these days, but when you do it all alone, it’s sort of like solitary confinement. I’d go nuts (yeah, I know my sanity is already in question) if it wasn’t for Facebook and Twitter. That’s how I connect with the outside world while I’m working. They’re my office water cooler. I even wrote an article to that effect once.

What is your method of breaking through writer’s block?

I clean the floors. Yep. If you come to my house, and the carpet has been vacuumed and the hardwood swept and mopped, then you know I’m at an impasse. It’s my version of stepping away and allowing my brain to rest.

What fuels you as an author to continue to write?

As long as the stories keep forming in my head, I’ll keep writing them down.

Can you tell us a bit about what book(s) you have coming out next and what you’re working on now?

I’m currently working on the fifth book in my Lothario series. The series is set on the Lothario, a sexual themed cruise ship, a.k.a. THE LUST BOAT. A friend refers to the series as The Love Boat on steroids! I think that’s a pretty accurate description. The fourth book in the series, FOUR OF HEARTS, releases on Nov. 1st, and I hope the fifth won’t be far behind.

When you get a chance to read, what books do you love to read?

I’m a big fan of Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series, and Sherryl Woods Chesapeake Bay series. I’ve been hooked on the Arcane series by Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick for a while now. In the erotic genre, I love Elizabeth Amber’s Satyr series. I’d buy those just for the covers, but the writing and storytelling is fabulous too.

What bores you as a reader?

No one. I read a wide range of work, including non-fiction books, and can’t remember ever being bored.

What is your favorite feature on a person?

I love to see people smile. You can learn a lot about a person by what makes them smile.

What is your favorite time of day?

I love the still of early morning, and the peaceful time right before sunset. That’s when the deer and bears come out around our house. I sit on the deck, weather permitting, and watch the show.

What music gets you dancing?

Promise not to laugh? Okay, 70’s music. I heard that. See if I tell you anything else.

Aliens have landed on the planet. What are the three things you would tell them that are great about this planet?

Terrorists, guns and bombs. Hopefully, they’d take all of them back home with them.

You have been locked in a mall and told you can get anything you want and when they open in the morning you won’t have to pay a single cent. What stores would you hit? Better question how would you haul away all your loot?

I’d head for the jewelry stores. What I couldn’t wear out, I’d stuff into oversized purses, preferably Michael Kors design, that I picked up from a few other stores.

If you could share one major writing tip, to help other writers in their quest for publication, what would it be?

Don’t give up. Something I didn’t understand before I was published is that you never give up the quest to be published. As soon as you sign the contract on the first book, you start trying to figure out how to sell the next one. Keep at it. We’re all in the boat with you!

If you could write in any other genre what would it be, and why?

I mentioned earlier about my vanilla and historical ideas. I’d like to try my hand at romantic comedy sometime too. We shall see.

And finally, have you got a sneak peek excerpt from your current work in progress you can share with my readers and me? The hotter the better!

“Spread your feet apart.” She kicked his instep, and he slid his foot out. His shoulders screamed at the added stretch. “I’m going to ask you a question, Elgin, and I want an answer. You’ll stay here, just like this, until I get one. Is that clear?”

“Yes, Mistress.”

“I should have asked this one first. Do you have a safe word?”

“Uncle, Mistress.”

“Okay. If you say Uncle, I’ll release you, and this will be over. We, will be over. Do you understand, Elgin?”

“Yes, Mistress.”

“Good. Now, I asked you this morning and you refused to answer, so I’m going to ask again. Where did the name Elgin come from?”

He’d be damned if he was going to tell her. As far as he knew, everyone who knew was dead, except him, and it was a story he fully planned to take to the grave with him. He held his tongue.

“Do you think I’m playing games here, Elgin? I assure you, I’m not. You will tell me.” Her fingers slipped beneath the waistband of his jeans. He sucked in a breath as she flicked the top button open and pulled the zipper down. “Tighty-whities, Elgin? From now on you will come to me commando, no underwear. Do you understand?”

“Yes, Mistress. I understand.”

A moment later, she shoved the underwear down just enough to free his limp penis and balls. She tucked the cotton briefs beneath his package and refastened the top button of his jeans. He looked past her bent head to see his penis hanging from his open zipper. The teeth of the zipper dug into his skin. He gritted his teeth and mentally called himself a stupid fucker in several languages. She didn’t look like a Lorena Bobbitt, but then again, Lorena Bobbitt didn’t look like the kind of woman who’d lop off a guy’s pecker either. He mentally went over the tools he’d seen on her workbench. Did sculptors use knives? He’d seen plenty of other tools there that could inflict serious damage, and that was enough to scare the bejesus out of him.
He closed his eyes and fought down the panic threatening to take him under. He’d never underestimated an opponent the way he’d underestimated Mary Beth Winters. He just hoped she wasn’t some kind of crazy serial killer. She took his penis in her soft little hand and toyed with it. He idly wondered if he’d ever have an erection again.

As if she’d read his mind, she said, “Don’t worry, Elgin. I’m not going to hurt you.” He felt the air stir around him as she moved away. He counted to one hundred before he opened his eyes. She’d removed the cowboy sculpture from her workbench and replaced it with a lump of clay covered with what looked like a wet towel. He watched as she removed the towel and began to work the clay with her hands.

She acted as if he wasn’t in the room. His shoulders burned, and his fingers grew numb from lack of blood flow. His legs and back hurt from trying to maintain his posture to relieve the pressure on his shoulders. If he relaxed even the slightest bit, his shoulders and arms protested. The one time he’d moved his feet a fraction of an inch, Mary Beth had looked up from her work and reminded him all he had to do was answer her question, and she’d let him go. Then she’d hopped off her throne, that’s what he was beginning to call her stool in his head, and kicked his feet further apart. “Don’t move them again,” was all she said before she returned to her work.

It seemed like hours he hung there. He wondered how long his arms and fingers could go without blood flow. Mary Beth ignored him. Time passed slowly. He focused on her hands, hoping to distract himself from his discomfort. Her hands were skilled at what she did. It didn’t take him long to come to that conclusion. The lump of clay was taking shape. He couldn’t make out exactly what she was doing, but somehow, he knew it would be exquisite when she was done.

“Why do you want to know about my name?”

She didn’t look up when she answered. “Names define people, don’t you think?”

“No. Who are you, Mary Beth Winters? You’re not like any fem-dom I’ve ever met.”

“I’m an open book, Elgin. If you want to know something about me, just ask.”

He did. He asked, and she answered. He learned she was from Houston. She owned the art gallery he’d seen in town, and mostly sold her art over the internet. “I have to have someplace to store it, so it might as well be on display while I’m waiting on a buyer. Sometimes people come to the gallery because they want to see a piece in person before they buy it. I also display and sell work from other local artists. It helps pay the bills.”

He learned she’d trained as a fem-dom in one of the best known clubs in Houston, and after she’d fallen for a sub and he’d confessed he only liked to play at the lifestyle, that he couldn’t live it for the rest of his life, she’d picked up stakes and moved to Prairieview. That bit of information about her training convinced him she knew what she was doing. By now, he’d pretty much decided he wasn’t in danger of losing his cock, which relieved him beyond measure.

She didn’t ask again about his name, and he’d run out of questions to ask, so he did his best to ignore his screaming muscles and concentrated on her hands. It wasn’t that she sculpted the clay as much as she seduced it into doing what she wanted. Hud imagined her hands on him, stroking, molding and coaxing. To his chagrin, his cock began to swell. He hoped to God she didn’t notice, but he wasn’t to be that lucky.

“You want me to touch you? Tell me what I want to know, Elgin and I’ll give you some relief. You want to come, don’t you?”

Mary Beth returned her attention to the clay. Every finger stroke drove him closer to the brink. He wanted her hands on him, on his cock. He tried to will his erection to go down, but once he had it in his head that he had to have her, it wouldn’t obey.

“If you don’t trust me enough to tell me something so personal, then tell me something else. Tell me why you came back to Prairieview.”

“That’s personal too,” he said through gritted teeth.

She slid off her throne and wiped her hands on a wet cloth she kept on the table. She went to the bathroom and a minute later he heard the water running. She came out with clean hands and rummaged in the canvas bag again. He cringed at the wicked piece of plastic in her hands. God, he was in deep trouble. No one had ever used one on him, but he’d seen plenty of other men milked before. It looked painful, and humiliating.

She stopped in front of him. Her fingers were cool as she stroked along his stubbled jaw, then brushed a lock of hair from his temple. “Tell me something, Elgin. Tell me something, so I’ll know you trust me. If you don’t, I’m going to use this on you.”
He clamped his mouth shut and let his head fall back. He closed his eyes against the panic making his heart beat like a runaway steam engine. He wouldn’t tell her. He wouldn’t.

She freed the button on his jeans and shoved them and his underwear down over his hips. His cock sprang free of its restraints, and he breathed a sigh of relief. She took his cock in her cold hand and slid the plastic tube over it. The bottom edge pressed tight against his pubic bone. Oh God! She was going to do it. She was going to pump the come out of him. Air swished and whirred as she worked the bulb at the end of the tube, creating a vacuum, sucking his cock with every squeeze of her fist on the little ball. Ah, shit! It hurt like a son-of-a-gun!

“Tell me what I want to know, and I’ll let you have relief in a much more pleasant way.”

Hud thought about the way her tight little pussy would feel. She’d be tight and wet and hot, and there wouldn’t be a damned thing painful about it. He wanted her. God, he wanted her, not some godforsaken plastic torture device.

“My mother. My mother gave me the name.”

“Why?”

“Stop the fuck torturing me, and I’ll tell you.”

“Tell me, and I’ll stop.”

“She had a one night stand. She didn’t know the guy’s name. He left his watch behind in the cheap motel. Elgin was the brand name on the watch.”

As soon as the last word left his lips, Mary Beth broke the vacuum and slid the pump off his cock. Sweat poured down his face and stung his eyes, or maybe they were tears, he didn’t know for sure. He wanted to slump, but he had to maintain his posture or his shoulders and arms would pay the price.

“I need…”

“I know. I’m going to let you come now, Elgin.”

“Don’t call me that!”

“It’s your name. It’s a part of you. I understand it’s a part you wish you could change, but changing your name won’t change what your mother was, will it?”

“Fuck, no, but that doesn’t mean I have to be reminded of it every goddamned day.”

Mary Beth tucked the penis pump back into her bag of torture and came up with a rubber pussy, the kind lonely men use to get themselves off with. “God, no. Mary Beth, Mistress, let me down from here so I can make you feel good too.”

“Not yet, Elgin. You still don’t trust me with all your secrets, and until you do, you aren’t going to touch me, not at all. Do you understand?”

“Yes, Mistress, I understand.”

“Good, then let me help you.” Like he had any choice. She slid the rubber sleeve over his cock. He realized she must have planned this because she’d already
lubricated the inside of the sleeve. It slid easily over his cock. It was tight and wet, and nothing like the real thing.

Mary Beth worked the sleeve along his cock. He bucked his hips with every down stroke, despite the way his shoulders screamed in protest. He couldn’t help it. He had to move.

“That’s it, Elgin. Come for me. Show me you trust me to take care of you. You know I’ll take care of you, Elgin. I’ll always see that you have what you need. You need to come now, don’t you?” She kept up a litany in her soft voice. “I’m going to let you come now, Elgin. When I tell you to, I want you to come.”

“Oh, God, Mistress…”
