So the More I Thought... the More I Parlayed It Into an Idea

Location: Hiding in my cat room (long story)
Tunes: 867-5309(jenny) on the iPod

As if I don't have enough on my plate, when I couldn't sleep last night, I came up with another idea for a story.

People might say I'm a masochist. They'd be right. At the moment, I have at least 4 stories going, 1 super short, and 2 subbed. You'd think I'd give myself a moment to breathe. You'd be wrong.

The more I thought about the post from the other day about high school and where I am now, the more I think it'd make an interesting story. Not like a this is me and this is my story, but if I could do it again or maybe if I wasn't married and I went back for the big 15, what it might be like. (BTW, I'm Class of '97, so 2012 would be my 15 year reunion.)

Thinking I might just have to write the idea down... well, once this Blackhawk song is over.

You're not crazy LOL. I have so many WIP's, it's not funny! ;)

Sounds like a great idea. Have to let us know how it turns out!

I feel a little goofy some days when I stay up until 3 am because I just have to jot the idea down and then I realize I've pretty much written the story out in LONG HAND in my notebook. But God love my notebook.

But it's written down so I won't eekkk.... FORGET IT!

:-D

I like it very much. Need some help with the deets? You know I'm all over the deets.

Gonna have some time for me later? Cause I've got a wicked little short coming your way.

Too funny. Anything interesting I hear about, see or think about ends up in my idea file. I absorb it all like a sponge. I have so many high level plots it's seriously not funny. In addition to my current WIP, I have a general idea file and 8 other files in progress. I hesitate to call them WIPs because they're just basic sketches of ideas, characters and stories and I'm not actually writing in there as I would if it was a ms, but man, somedays it's hard to keep it all straight. But I have to get it down, you know? Sometimes a scene from one of them will just pop into my head. What's a girl to do? LOL

Seriously - I have taken to planting trees - ala - Johnny Appleseed - to replace the ones I demolish with all the notes and ideas that fill notebooks and fills. Oy, do I know where you are!!
