Oy... I should blog more and goof around less

I am the first to admit there aren't enough hours in the day. I want to write and have a whole slew of stories perolating in my head. And I have to reivew, play with my DS, aggrivate my DH...and learn a new puter program.

Am I bellyaching? Nope. Just sharing what's on my mind.

But, how do you write when the words won't come? See, my roundabout issue is that when I force myself to sit down and write... it doesn't happen. Oh no. It happens about 11 at night when I really want to sleep. Or at midnight when I'm sick as a dog and don't feel up to sitting up.

Which is why I'm sitting here blogging rather than writing the short story I want to write.

So instead of grousing some more, I think I'll mosey over to Megan's blog and aggrivate her a bit.

Ah, I know how you feel! I always get the best ideas when I'm out walking the dog, or right before falling asleep...and I can't seem to force myself to write...
Nonetheless, I try to do it anyways, 'cause if not I would never get anything done!^^

I haven't even blogged today - except for visiting your blog and a couple others. I need to write a blog post but it's eleven and I have to get up at 6 am so I might just wait until tomorrow.

But you and I did a lot of critiquing today which is great. I wrote 1,000 words today. It wasn't the 3K I said I'd do yesterday, but 1K's a lot better than nothing.

You're doing great. But I understand the feeling. I get it a lot.

I'm not sure if that part gets better or not. I sure hope so. I find I do the 'grunt' work when I sit down and force myself and the 'creative' stuff comes when I least expect it.

Yeah, sitting at the doctor's office I get an idea for a vampire story. Go figure. At least I had my notebook. The guy sitting next to me had to think I was nuts for how fast I scrawled across the page.

I think I'm gonna try to put the words in the notebook into the computer. I think.
