This week was indeed a nail-biter. 54 yard field goal with four seconds to go? Who knew? My Bengals won, but you never know. Next week could be the killer. But we'll worry about that next week. Now I believe it's time for some funny football!!!
But first, let me mention the Honorable Mentions...those quotes that were not quite right for last week... or came on Monday night.
"When he goes down, he goes way down."
Just letting everyone know his skill set.
"One on one open field tackle. Well blocked."
They were just "funnin'"
And now for those quotes this week. Some real zingers in this bunch.
"Taking care of Eli's backside."
Aww. Such a nice dom.
"Misfired on some routes."
Messy. Maybe they get into that sort of thing?
"Multiple faces with the same expression - not again..."
Yeah. Not good. Not good.
"So many blitzes, so little time."
Ouch.
"Double A-Gap Pressure."
Now which exactly is the A-Gap? Just checking.
And now for that Doozy of the Week:
"When it comes to going and getting the football, he's got the knack."
Snort. Bet he liked the hammering. Liked it a lot and wanted more. Just sayin.
