Demon’s Bounty, Book 1 in Hunting Hell Jocelyn Dex

demons-bounty-2-(1)
Thanks for having me here today! Demon’s Bounty is a cross between erotic paranormal romance and urban fantasy. It features a fun cast of characters including: demons, a siren, a dog, a witch and others. Check out the blurb and excerpt below and if it sounds good to you, I hope you’ll give it a read.

Blurb

Welcome to the Network, a secret organization with a mission to hunt and kill rogue demons, a job best left to the experts. When the Network hires a siren named Lydie, things get a lot more complicated for veteran demon hunter Tanner, and a lot hotter. Passion ignites when Tanner decides to give in to his desires and sample what Lydie is offering in Demon’s Bounty, Book 1 of Jocelyn Dex's new paranormal series Hunting Hell.

Excerpt

“Nice place,” he said as he accepted her offer to sit. “Thanks.” She treated him to a dazzling smile that formed a lump in his throat. The urge to reach out and touch her golden hair and lick her pink lips deluged him.

“Can I get you anything?” Had he imagined the suggestiveness in her tone? Probably. As much as he wanted her, he was probably projecting his wants onto her. He cleared his throat and tried to keep from ogling her.

“No thanks. The man you left with tonight, I need to know where you dropped him off.” She leaned in a little closer, giving him a better view of her ample cleavage. “Hmm. Are you sure you wouldn’t like a drink?”

He needed to keep his cool, remain in character, but her nearness was driving him nuts. He couldn’t remember the last time a female had affected him so profoundly. She exuded an energy, a vibe, that made him want things he didn’t have a name for.

“I’m sure. The man?”

“He isn’t a problem. Forget him.”

She reached out and gave his thigh a little squeeze as if to accentuate her words. His dick instantly hardened, and his thoughts muddied. What were they talking about? Rubbing his temples, he strained to remember. Oh yeah. The demon. His bounty for killing the demon.

“Mi—Lydie,” he corrected, “it’s important you give me his location. He’s dangerous. You’re lucky you weren’t hurt.” That magical laugh drifted through his mind again, compelling him, mellowing him.

“He didn’t seem all that dangerous to me. And see”—she stood, did a twirl, and sat back down next to him, closer than before—“I’m all in one piece.” Yeah, one exquisite piece she was. “You got lucky. Now where did you take him?”

“You have sexy eyes…officer.” She leaned forward as if to get a better look. “I’ve always preferred dark eyes on a male, and yours are the darkest I’ve ever seen.”

With her face so close to his, her sweet breath caressing his cheek, he barely fought back the desire to kiss her, ravage her. She affected him like no other. Her essence pulled at him, drew him in, but he had to fight it, just a little longer. When he got the information from her, he’d make quick work of killing the demon and delivering the body to D, and then he’d be back here to put out the fire that was obviously burning between them.

“Thanks,” he choked out. “About the man…”

“There’s no man but you, here, right now,” she said. Her voice raised an octave, the most melodic sound he’d ever heard, the trickling lull of the wall fountain a perfect backdrop to the melody. Brain feeling fuzzy, dick hardened to granite, he again fought to remember why he was there. “You, uh…” He couldn’t remember. All he knew, in this moment, was that a goddess sat next to him, and if he didn’t touch her soon, he’d die.

Thanks for stopping by and reading!

Scrap Metal with Jennah Scott

Today my good friend Jennah Scott is here talking about her latest book, Scrap Metal. Read on because this looks like a great book and  I know it's a fun interview! What are your current projects?

I’m working on a few things right now. My co-author, Alexi Raymond, and I just finished the second book in the Midwest Kisses series. I’ve also got a couple of short stories in the works. They are both set in Wyoming with cowboys as heroes. One is two friends finding each other for a second chance and the other is two strangers who find they can’t get enough of each other.

OOH! Cowboys! Gotta love 'em. Do you see writing as a career?
Absolutely! It’s my ideal career, wouldn’t wish for anything else.

Grin. Me, either. Do you have to travel much concerning your book(s)?
Not as much as I’d like to. However, I did just take a trip with my family that resulted in an idea for a series of short stories. Once the idea came to mind, everything we saw on the trip helped me develop the plot.

That's what I love about traveling, even if it's only a short distance. You get great ideas. Do you have any advice for other writers?
Take the time to learn the craft of writing as well as the publishing business. If you rush, you risk disappointment. It’s hard to find the patience, but I can attest that it’s worth it.

Yep. I've done my own share of rushing and not letting things percolate. I can attest to waiting and patience being worth the time. How long does it take you to write a book?
About two months with the first draft and revisions.

You're fast! As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
An English teacher! I can remember setting up all of my stuffed animals and teaching them how to write a story.

I did that, too. Grin. But I taught them all about the American Civil War. Yeah, I was a goofy kid. What animal do you think makes the best pet and why?
Cats for sure. They don’t take a lot of work and are really fun to cuddle with.

Very true, even if my dog swears she cuddles better than a cat. Now for the fun questions! Boxers, briefs, boxerbriefs…. Or commando? Why?
Boxerbriefs. I’m not sure why, but a guy in boxerbriefs never fails to make me sigh.

Because as much as they are showing - those things are tight! - there is so much that's left to the imagination. Leaving things to the imagination sometimes is exactly what is needed. grin. What were you doing at midnight last night?
Editing!

I was sleeping. Good night I had a bad headache. Have you ever cried during a movie? If yes, which one and why?
Oh, yeah. I bawled like a baby during The Notebook. My husband and I laugh about it now, because I am not a crier. However, we found out a couple of weeks later that I was pregnant, so I blame the crying on hormones.  J

Works for me. Grin. Are you a morning person or a night person?
Night! Always have been. I’d much rather stay up late and sleep in.

I second that, although my cat is convinced I need to be a morning person. He likes to paw my face until I get up. The brat. Can you tie a cherry stem in a knot?
Yep, sure can.

I never learned. Oh well. One day. Can you taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke? If so, which do you prefer?
Oh for sure! They are very distinct. I don’t like either one, actually. I prefer Dr. Pepper. And yep, there’s a difference between that and Mr. Pibb too. J

And a little bit about Scrap Metal...
Not one to settle down, Angelica Rousseau never thought she’d consider planting roots in the small town of Kimmswick, Missouri. When her art speaks to her—and gives her a reason to get up close and personal with body shop owner, Ryker Talcott—sticking around starts to have appeal.

Ryker has to deal with a lot of personalities and has found that custom orders for women almost never end well. Especially when the women are as picky and confident as Angelica. This time it’s different. He's never met a woman like her. She rivals his confidence and has the attitude to back it up.

When the past threatens their future, Angelica and Ryker have to decide what's more importanttheir own promises to themselves, or the love they both feel for each other.

Star Catcher and Kimber Vale!

Hi, Wendi!  Thanks so much for having me today.  I’m excited to be here!

I'm glad you're here! Let's get this interview started! I can't wait. How did you come up with the title for your book?

It’s weird.  My title for “Star Catcher,” came after the story was finished. My manuscript was saved on my computer as “Extra” for the longest time (as in Extraterrestrial—I was rather hung-up on playing with that word somehow. Sextraterrestrial? Extra-large Alien Penis? Something like that. I had no clue). I sent it out to my betas and they were like, “What’s the title?” And I was all, “I don’t know! Lay off me—I can’t handle your pressure!”

When I finally backed away from the extraterrestrial spin-off, my title was so obvious, I felt like a bit of a dolt. Dr. Noth Zobor, my hot alien hero, is named after a constellation visible from his home planet, Artanos.  It’s called “Noth the Star Catcher” over there.  Stella, my heroine, whose name means “Star,” is accidently abducted by her lover, Noth.  Apparently, I needed flashing neon signs to figure out my title should be “Star Catcher.” At least I got there eventually.

I've had that happen. I've got at least two that are called "Untitled". Yeah, so original. Grin. What book are you reading now?

A Dance with Dragons.  I was putting it off because my husband was disappointed with it.  Now I’m reading it because I’m sick of hearing him complain about how bad it was.  I’m determined to love it at all costs, just to be the devil’s advocate. Plus, I need to know what my boyfriend Tyrion is up to.

Hee hee! Always good to do that. What are your current projects?

Aye yi yi. I need to clear my plate! I’m polishing up the first book in my contemporary M/M series, and hope to get it sent out soon. Like yesterday. I’m about two-thirds done with the second in that threesome. I have half of my hetero witchy paranormal BDSM erotic romance done, and need to start pounding that one out to the finish line. I’ve also started another sci-fi (hetero) that is going to be fantastically fun with lots of kicking and punching and body morphing and crazy space chases.  Oh, and steamy sex.  Really looking forward to giving it my full attention.

Oy! You are busy! Do you see writing as a career?

Wouldn’t that be awesome? I’m really lucky that I’m a stay-at-home mom, and I’m able to find more time to write than the full-timers out there. All of my cherubs will be in school full day next fall, though, and I plan to pick up about eight hours a week at that time.  I’m an RN, but I’ve been out of the work force for a while and need to get back in so I don’t lose my skills.  I’ll also have a lot more time to dedicate to writing when they are all off getting educated. [Evil laugh].

It does help when you've got time to write for longer periods of time. I know I'd love it. What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

I guess that I have a bad back, so I am frequently lying on my stomach on the floor while writing. Stupid bulging disc.  Cherish your backs, people!  Cherish them!

And your knees! Mine are shot from dancing. (Long story) What animal do you think makes the best pet and why?

Guinea pigs, hands down.  Why?  Look at them, for corn’s sake!  They’re the cutest things ever! And that little squeak they make? So adorable.  And, if you’re wearing long sleeves and you pull your shirt cuff wide in front of a pig’s face, it’ll crawl up your sleeve.  Just make sure it doesn’t stay in there too long in case it has to pee.  The turds you can just shake out.

Um, I think I'll stick to cats. I've never been much of a guinea pig person, but that's what makes us all unique. Grin. What is your strangest habit?

I am a manic tooth brusher.  I have to brush after every meal and for at least five minutes at a clip.  Soon I won’t have gums or enamel anymore, but my breath is always minty fresh.

I have to carry a notebook with me. Have to. And my Captain America pen. Who doesn't want to take Chris Evans with you everywhere? What’s a saying you use a lot? Where did it originate from?

“For real?!” I don’t know when/where it started, but if I find the person who made me start saying that (sometimes ad nauseam) I’m going to flip them for real.

Mine's no worries. And yet, I worry...a lot. How many fingers am I holding up?

Twelve.

Ah...you guessed it. What is one thing scientists should invent?

Time machine, for sure.  I always warn my kids that they’re in trouble if I get my hands on one.

Works for me. Grin. Here's a little more about Star Catcher!

Lust flares hot and bright when Stella Aims’ world collides with the gorgeous and mysterious Noth Zobor. The tall dark stranger doesn’t speak a word of English, but Stella is happy to teach him everything she knows, including a crash course in the universal language of love. Their passion burns down to sweet and smoldering before Stella’s reality is completely spun around.

People aren’t always what they seem—but what if they aren’t even human?

Concerned that Noth’s been lying to her, Stella searches for him and walks into a trap straight out of a nightmare. When she wakes, she finds the real deception was far worse than she ever suspected, and her lover is not at all what he seems. Forgiving him might be the easiest thing Stella has to do, because getting out alive and saving her fellow humans from captivity and experimentation will be the toughest challenge of her life.

Can lovers from two different planets overcome forces that push them galaxies apart? When the fate of two species hangs in the balance, love may be the only thing strong enough to save them all and give hope for a new future.

Hump Day Hump with Dual Threat

Follow the other humps here!
It's time for the Hump Day Humps. I thought I'd use another snippet from Dual Threat. Can't get enough of those Tiger Shifters!

They want their mate. She wants love without pain. Together, they can be whole.

Kaia Martin dances to pay the bills. She doesn’t mind baring her body, but her heart? That’s another question. But what happens when two tiger shifters push her out of her comfort zone and into her heart’s desire?

Evan and Ian Davis have been in love with Kaia since the moment they met her. Their tigers know she’s the one for them. They’ve waited long enough for her to see what they’ve always known—she’s their mate. Can these twin tiger shifters prove love really can conquer all?

Available June 10th from Liquid Silver Books.

And now for that Hump!!

“Make love to me.” She stood up in the water like a shimmering goddess. Bubbles slid down her curves. He’d seen her so many times in the club, but she never looked as radiant as she did now.
“I’m glad you got the piercings done. Sexy.” Evan grabbed the closest towel and dried her off, taking liberal time on her breasts and pussy. He massaged her and touched her belly. He turned her around with her back to him. Kaia leaned back in his arms and groaned. She rested her head on his shoulder. His cock throbbed, and he nudged her ass. His tiger roared and pawed him from within.
Fighting his need to take her, Evan kissed the soft spot between her neck and shoulder. “We need to wait for Ian,” he murmured.
Kaia moved his hands to her breasts. He caressed her supple skin, pinching her nipples. He tugged the piercings, happy when she whimpered and ground her butt into his crotch.
He dragged his teeth over her shoulder. His tiger growled again, ready to mark her. Footsteps padded on the floor. When Evan glanced down the hallway, he noticed Ian leaning on the door frame. With one nod, Ian telegraphed their next move. Evan disengaged from Kaia and then scooped her into his arms. She clung to him, but didn’t fight him.
Evan carried her to the bedroom and placed her in the middle of Ian’s king-sized bed. Kaia blushed under their twin appraisals. She clasped Ian’s hand in her left hand and grabbed Evan’s right hand with hers. Her nipples pebbled, and she opened her legs. Her cunt glistened with her juices.
Evan leaned over her leg and breathed in her scent. Her spice imprinted itself on his mind. His tiger gnashed its teeth and snarled. Evan buried his nose in her curls and then traced his tongue over her cleft. Her salty taste exploded on his tongue.
Kaia released her grasp on him and shoved her fingers into his hair. She wrapped her leg around his shoulder and dug her heel into his back. When he glanced over at Ian, Ian palmed one of her breasts and flicked his tongue over the other. Evan grinned and then resumed tasting her. He speared one finger into her hot pussy. She gripped him tight from within. Her vagina rippled around his finger as he stroked her. Buzzing his lips, he vibrated her clit. He added another finger, stretching her.
“God, yeah.” Kaia planted her feet and rode his hand. “Evan.”
He winked at Ian, who sucked hard on her nipple. Ian moved from her chest to her mouth and kissed her lips. Seeing his brother loosening up with Kaia made Evan grin. His cock throbbed and his balls ached. His tiger clawed at him from within. He fought the craving to take her.
Kaia bucked her hips. “So close,” she panted.
“Make her come.” Ian dusted his fingers over her taut nipples. “Come for him, Kaia. Show us how beautiful you are when you come apart.”

Sunday Snoggin' with Dual Threat!

Follow the other snogs here!

It's time to snog and I love it. Dual Threat comes out in a couple weeks but I can't wait to share a snippet with you. I love this story and the cover is so hot! Check it out.

And now for that snog!!!

“Let’s go inside.” Ian placed his hand on hers. “We can talk there.” His larger hand dwarfed her smaller one.
“He’s right.” Evan stepped out of the truck. “I need to start the water.” Without another word, he hurried into the house.
Kaia kept her head low and didn’t move.
He needed to tell her something. Anything. Ian turned in his seat and placed his other hand on hers. “Shifters are funny animals. We turn into something else and have the senses of both critters. I’ve got a twin, so I can feel what he feels and understand what he’s thinking. All that doesn’t mean I have to be with one certain individual. Tigers are even stranger. Yes, we’re meant to be with other tigers, but sometimes rules are meant to be broken and sorted out in a different way.” He tugged her into his lap. Her eyes widened, but she didn’t fight him.
“Kaia, I want you.” He held her jaw in both hands. “Evan wants you. We’re going to show you men aren’t assholes. We’ll do whatever you want us to do. If that sounds crazy, well, then crazy is true.” He slid one hand down her neck, past her collarbone to scrape over her breast. Her sharp intake of breath and subsequent moan resonated in his brain. He inched forward and tasted her. Like an explosion of cherry and mint, he feasted on her bottom lip.
Kaia pressed against him and rubbed her chest on his. Her nipples pebbled, despite the clothing between them, and she groaned into his mouth.
“That’s my girl,” he said between kisses. Ian palmed her breast, taking care with her nipple. He never noticed the piercing before, but the moment he touched it, he craved tasting it—tasting her. His tiger roared and paced. Soon, he reminded himself. Soon. His jeans stretched tight over his erection. God, he’d imagined having her in his arms so many times, but the real moment trumped any vision.
“Want you stretched across my bed, open to me. Begging for me.” He threaded his hand into her hair and tugged. “Open for us.”
Kaia nodded and writhed on his jean-covered dick. “Yes.”
“Want to see those sweet little piercings. Taste them. Fuck.” If he shoved her panties aside and unleashed his cock, he’d be inside her in a heartbeat. He held back. Not without Evan. His tiger panted and hissed, not wanting to be refused.
“You never wanted to kiss me before.” Kaia splayed her hands on his chest. “I’m glad you did.”
“Me too.” He swatted her butt, thrilled when she yelped and her eyes glittered. “We should include Evan next time.”
“We should.”

Sunburn with Rosanna Leo!

I’d like to offer a huge thank you to Wendi for allowing me to appear today. I’m really excited to be here!
I’m here to tell you a bit about my newest paranormal erotic romance  Sunburn, but also to chat a bit about the whole plotter vs. panster dilemma. Have you heard of this? Any author will hear these terms and probably roll her eyes because she identifies with one or the other.
Now, a plotter is what I would dearly love to be. However, my brain is not capable of rational, logical thought. It wanders, and so despite my valiant attempts, I am somewhat of a punster.
A plotter plots out her novel in advance, much like a traveler plots out her route. She likes to know where she’s headed, and what she’ll see when she gets there.
A pantster likes to make it up as she goes along, hopefully enjoying the journey, keeping the plotlines fluid and open.
For the most part, I tend to fall into the latter category although I do like to have an overall idea of how the book will end. When I first put pen to paper, I don’t always know all my characters or conflicts. I know the main ones, but they others “show up” later.
Is this a good thing? Many writers swear by it and hate plotting it out. I am starting to get a little frustrated with being a pantster. There’s more stress involved, and although I’ve always worked well under pressure, sometimes it backfires and you have to do rewrites.
And yet each time I’ve attempted to write out complete plots ahead of time, they change. So I ask, what’s an annoyed pantster to do? Short of throwing my manuscript out the window.
I think the key is to blend the two schools of thought, using elements from both that will help. Plotting, while still remaining spontaneous. Sound good, right?
Sure. I’ll be over here in the corner mulling it over…pulling my hair out as I try to finish this next scene.

It's all good. We love the books, so we'll wait :-)

Here's a little bit about Sunburn:

Patience O’Conner is a travel blogger who lives for her work. Her dedication to her readers brings her to the famed Helios Resort in Mexico, a locale that stuns her with its beauty but at which she suffers from some very strange accidents.

Luckily, hunky resort bartender Apollo Delos is always there in the nick of time, a malcontent guardian angel. Apollo stuns Patience again and again with his life-saving
abilities, to say nothing of his smoldering looks and apparent desire to keep her alive.

Before long, Patience wonders if there is more to the sexy bartender than mixed cocktails and insane first-aid skills. Something strange is happening at Helios and Apollo doesn’t want to talk about it.

Can Patience open herself up to this enigmatic man, even though she is terrified to be vulnerable again? And can Apollo recover from an eternity of hurt and learn to trust once more? They must both decide before Death comes calling.

Sunburn Excerpt:

She approached the booth, only to find the blond bartender manning it. Her eyes almost
popped and she blurted, “You!”
He grinned, but there was still a tightness around his eyes, as if he were sizing her up.
“Hello, Patience.” His strained expression said volumes about what he considered to be
the unsuitability of her name.
She tried to ignore the sucker punch in her gut, the one that hit her as soon as his deep,
velvety voice caressed her eardrums. “Aren’t you supposed to be at the bar?”
His smile grew wider, showing off his perfect white teeth. “I’m everywhere.”
“Clearly.” She forced herself to look away from his gorgeous face, feeling light-headed
because of the suns dancing in her eyes, the suns that seemed to come from him. To
distract herself, she touched a few of the painted bowls on display. Not that it snuffed out
those blasted suns.
He stepped closer. “Do you see anything you like?”
She choked on her saliva and coughed like a victim of the Black Death. He rushed to
calm her, putting his hand on her back, massaging. She recovered upon feeling his touch
and was hit by the bizarre, fleeting notion his touch made her recover. As if he’d healed
her.
Utter nonsense. Yet as much as it was nonsense, her head swam with the bizarre
possibility.
“Better?” he asked quietly, his face serious now.
She stared into the man’s eyes. They were blue, so very blue. “Uh, yeah, thanks.”
Curiosity got the better of her and the question poured out. “What’s your name anyway?”
He breathed in. “Apollo Delos.”
“Oh, wow,” she said, breaking into a grin. “Just like Apolo Anton Ohno! I loved him on
Dancing with the Stars!”
He got a curious look and let out a strange laugh. “Yeah. Just like him.”

Sunday Snoggin' with Somewhere I Belong

This week for the Snog I thought I'd get one out of the vault...Somewhere I Belong! Love this story and yes, I am working through a sequel...still. Grin. The characters are being themselves. What can I say? Enjoy!

He never knew what he was missing until he came home to find his place to belong—with her.

Sullavan Tanner walked away from Jarvis, Ohio, afraid to give his heart to the woman he loved. He lived the rock and roll lifestyle, but never quite made it to the big time. Fifteen years later, he’s back and ready to claim what’s his—if she’ll accept his help.

Marley Lockwood’s done asking for help. The family farm is more than she can handle, but if she can survive a cancer scare, the loss of her parents, the abandonment by her first love, and a messy divorce, she can handle anything.

Until Sully shows up.

Although she’s not interested in rekindling the love affair, she’s not above accepting Sully’s hands on the farm. What’s the worst that could happen? They get the farm out of the red and into the black? That’s her plan. They actually fall in love? The past says it won’t work, so she’s not hedging her bets.

Too bad Sully’s not giving up this time.

Available now from Liquid Silver Books!

And now for that kiss!

“Why’d you go all cave man on me?” She cocked her hip and thrust out her chin. “You already had my attention.”

He wound his fingers through her hair, drawing her close. God, she felt so right. Why didn’t he see the connection before? Or rather, why didn’t he make the connection before? “Marley, being in New York didn’t soothe my soul.”

“I see. It’s not making me change my mind about men, but I see.”

Think, Sul, think. “I’m more afraid of the things I can’t control. You make me so crazy. My thoughts jumble and asshole things come out of my mouth.”

“I’m not looking for love.” Marley shoved her hands into her back pockets. Her breasts arched towards him. “I’m running away at a full sprint.”

“That’s when love finds you, when you aren’t ready.” He traced the neckline of her T-shirt. Sully cupped her breast, flicking his thumb over the beaded tip.

She slapped her hand through the air and backed away. “Save the syrupy stuff for one of your power ballads. I’m sitting this one out.”

“I’ll put in all the schmaltz I can, if the song’s written for you.” He grabbed the waistband of her shorts and tugged her flush against his body. Her mewl turned him inside out.

She stared at his shirt a moment before gazing into his eyes. “Hey, I’m not perfect or beautiful, and I speak my mind, I’m not the kind of woman—”

Sully gave into temptation and dipped down to taste her, silencing further explanation. Marley whimpered, thumping her fists against his chest. After a moment of hesitation, she opened to him, twining their tongues. He wrapped his arms around her body, cradling her, learning her curves.

“You need time, but you make it hard for me to behave.” He broke the kiss and tangled his hands in her hair. “I want you.”

“Sully, this—us—can’t happen.” She panted and fisted his shirt. Her cheeks glowed a pinkish hue. “I won’t let it.”

He willed his breathing to slow to normal. She churned him up in too many delicious ways to count, and he wasn’t about to let her get away so quickly. “I’m not the same man I was when I left. Please don’t push me away like I pushed you.”

Ten Line Tuesday!!

This is from a shifter story I've already submitted. I love the story and hope you (as well as the editors) do, too. Grin. It's tentatively titled, Dual Threat. Enjoy!!

“It’s crazy.” She fumbled with her buckle. “I don’t know what you two have planned, but I’m scared and excited.”

Evan left the door open, but didn’t leave. “Why? Afraid we’ll bite?”

“I’m not worried about the biting.” She chuckled. “You’re tigers. Biting has to factor in somewhere.”

“Then what is it?”

“Our friendship. I know what I want to do tonight and once we cross that threshold, there’s no going back. Are we sure we want to take whatever we’ve got between us to the next level?”

“Lines are meant to be crossed.”

And now for that moan!!

Marley nibbled the inside of her cheek and toyed with the hem of her shirt. She cast her gaze downward. “My past isn’t rosy either. To use your words, I don’t know how to explain it.”

Sully smoothed his hand over her cheek, tilting her head to meet her gaze. “I’m here when you’re ready to talk.”

Sunday Snog ~ Believe!

This week for my snog, I thought I'd spotlight a book by my pen name, Megan Slayer. Believe features characters I fell in love with long ago and hope you'll love, too. Don't forget to check out the rest of the snogs and do leave a comment. Thanks for reading!

Believe by Megan Slayer

Raylan believed himself unworthy of love until he met Chase. Chase brought out Raylan’s natural need to control and the power to force submission. But time and distance make having a relationship hard. Can Raylan prove to Chase they have what it takes for love to last through this Christmas and every other Christmas for the rest of their lives?

Chase found the muse for his songs in Raylan. Each time they touch, kiss, make love, music fills his soul. But working odd gigs to make ends meet while Raylan photographs rock and roll royalty isn’t beneficial to Chase’s creativity. Can he convince Raylan they’re better off together than apart?

Contains: M/M, LBGT, BDSM, Fetish, anal sex

Available here!

And now for that snog under the mistletoe!

Chase folded his arms. The tree wasn’t exactly full or decorated very well. A professional would more than likely faint if they saw the crinkled limbs and snarled needles on the second-hand tree. The sad strand of twinkle lights engulfed the two-foot fake pine. The star caused the tree to bow to the right, and the two ornaments didn’t fit on the miniscule branches. Adding candy canes would probably send it the rest of the way over. He cocked his head. “Raylan?”

Raylan eased up behind him, wrapping his arms around Chase and nudging Chase’s ass with his cock. “It’s cute. Not quite what’s expected and a little lopsided, but who needs stale perfection when originality is so much better? I love it. Besides, our originality could be the next big thing in holiday décor. You never know.”

“I don’t know if I want to share.” Chase rested his head on Raylan’s shoulder. “I’ve missed you.”

“Mmm,” Raylan murmured and licked a path of fire along Chase’s neck. “I couldn’t wait to get home. Christmas isn’t any fun alone.”

Groaning, Chase ground his ass into Raylan’s erection. His loins ached. He needed to feel Raylan’s tenderly tough touch. As punishment? Not in the truest sense. He needed to feel wanted and sexy. He turned around in Raylan’s embrace and worked the row of buttons bisecting Raylan’s dress shirt.

“Let me take care of you.” Chase sank to his knees and stared up at Raylan. “Let me remind you what’s here at home.” Chase folded his hands behind his back, waiting for Raylan’s permission to take the initiative. When he felt the touch of a warm hand on his head, Chase took a deep breath, drawing in Raylan’s scent as he kissed Raylan’s cock through his jeans. The motion felt dirty and out of his element and completely sexy.

“Merry Christmas to me,” he groaned and flicked his tongue over the blunt end of Raylan’s prick.

“Oh Chase.” Raylan forked his fingers into Chase’s short hair, tugging the strands. He moaned, and his hips bucked. Almost as soon as the action started, Raylan stopped.

“Stop.”

Chase froze. Stop? Huh? He didn’t look up at Raylan, rather he stared at Raylan’s jean-clad cock. A shiver cut right through him. Something…something wasn’t right. Raylan tugged Chase’s head back gently and forced Chase to look him in the eye. The pregnant pause as Raylan considered Chase took the breath from Chase’s chest. Fire flickered in Raylan’s eyes.

“Naked. Now.”

Stunned by the terse directive, Chase stood and fumbled out of his jeans. He tripped as the denim tangled around his feet. When he stumbled forward, Raylan caught him under the arms.

“I wanted you naked, not coming apart at the seams.” Raylan chuckled. “Take your time, but do this right. I want you properly naked so we can celebrate the holidays in style.”

Sunday Snog ~ Somewhere I Belong!

This week for the Snog I thought I'd get one out of the vault...Somewhere I Belong! Love this story and yes, I am working through a sequel. Grin.

I goofed up when I posted the Sunday Snog yesterday on Megan's blog, so I'm trying to make this one look good. Snicker. Sometimes you just goof up. Anyway, here's a story about learning from your goof-ups and making the best of it. Grin. Enjoy Somewhere I Belong.

And now for that moan!!

A warm hand touched her other shoulder, jerking her from her thoughts. “Do you mind if I sit with you?” The gravelly voice rolled down her back. Heat enveloped her and not from the August night. The twinge of fear subsided, replaced by the strength of his presence.

“Sully.”

Sully shuffled his feet and crinkled his brows. His cocoa-colored eyes glittered in the firelight. He’d shaved the midday scruff from his cheeks but left a sprinkling of hair on his chin and upper lip. Instead of wearing the standard bandana, his hair stood in messy spikes, giving him a tousled, straight-out-of-bed look. His cologne wrapped around her like a woodsy blanket. Her mouth watered. How could one man look so darned sexy without effort?

“Chores are done, you’re free, I’m free. I wanted a dance for old times’ sake.” The silver ring on the middle finger of Sully’s right hand caught the light as he gestured to her. “Will you dance with me, Marley? I don’t have cooties, man germs, or any other gross diseases.”

Man germs...good grief. She needed an answer to put him back in his place.

“Dancing isn’t my thing.” Why did Sully make her so nervous? Because Sully made her inner thighs heat and her heart thunder. Every time she heard him sing she swooned. Hell, when they worked side by side on the wagons, she resisted the urge to smother him with kisses. She pressed her lips together. The idea of his sexy naked body melding with hers had haunted her dreams since she hit puberty. Of all the men she knew, Sully remained elusive and out of reach. And yet, he’d come back when she needed him the most...like a white knight. God, she had to get the childish, fanciful thoughts from her head and regain her footing in the real world.

Sighing, he eased down next to her. “I don’t buy that for a moment, but I’m not gonna push.” He bumped her shoulder with his, sending a frisson of lust snaking through her body. “I missed our late-night conversations.” A chuckle erupted from his throat. “You know, I never found someone to understand me like you do.”

She balled her fists to keep from touching him and stared at the crisp yellow flames. Sully smelled like sin and pine. “Conversationalist is my middle name.”

Sully cupped her chin, redirecting her gaze. “And all this time I thought it was Elaine.”

Despite wanting to stay, Marley stood. “I never could fool you.”

“Dance?”

She shook her head. “I have a question.”

“Shoot.”

“You left after we had sex. Like right after. Was it that bad or was it just a notch for your belt?”

His smile faded. “Marley, that’s not fair.”

“Thanks for your answer.” She brushed imaginary debris from her lap. “You and I work together. There will be no dancing, no kissing, and no love. Got me?”

“Who said kissing?” He stood and grabbed her hand. Sully tugged her away from the fire and the rumble of conversation to the privacy of the back porch. “There’s a lot of stuff you don’t know about, and I don’t know how to tell you, but I absolutely want to kiss you.”
