The itch of ‘baby lust’ has prickled just under the surface of Tessa’s skin since she turned thirty. Five years have passed since her thirtieth birthday, and her obsessive nature has stoked the minor irritation into a full-blown fertility frenzy. The contrast with the amber center was startling. Such gorgeous eyes should be illegal.
A snapshot of their tryst in the stairwell flashed in her mind again. So many surprises were attached to it for her to ponder. Michael’s unexpected appearance, his bold advances, and then the biggest brainteaser, her reaction to it. She hoped to hell her instincts about this man were right.
