Felicity Black never quite understood love. She worked her assets to get what she wanted and didn’t care who got in the way. Until she met John. He saw past her superficial self to the woman inside. Death separated her from John before she could tell him how she truly felt. Now she’s got her chance...just not in the way she expected.
John wanted Felicity to haunt him. She had been the only woman to stir not only his heart but his soul as well. But the woman claiming to be his lost love can’t be her... Felicity was dead. He has to decide whether to trust his gut or walk away from a new start.

“John?”
He jerked upright and glanced around the bar. The dream wasn’t a dream any longer. He’d heard his name. The last time he’d checked, the bar had been empty. Who’d said his name?
“Hello, John.”
A tingle shot straight through his brain. He knew the voice. Felicity. He had to be dreaming again, but he wasn’t sleeping. A hand gripped his. He turned to his left. The woman smiled and a lock of pale blonde hair slid over her eyes. “I’ve missed you, John.”
“Lisa? I thought you went home early last night. Everything okay?” John scrubbed both hands over his face. “You look like you saw a ghost. I know I feel a little strange.”
“I’ve got one hell of a story to tell you.”
“Oh yeah?” He stood and stretched, not ready to look at her. He could’ve sworn he heard Felicity’s voice. “I’m all ears. Did you finally hook up with that guy you met last night? He seemed really in to you. What was his name? Eddie? Carl?”
“Wow, okay. This will be a little harder to explain especially since I have no idea who you’re talking about.” She stepped back and opened her hands. “John, I’m not really Lisa.”
He snorted and broke into laughter, finally looking at her. “Okay, what’s the gag? You’ve worked for me for almost a year. Are you going to tell me your name is Kim Kardashian or something and you’re researching a role?”
“I got a second chance.”
