Thank you Thursday...Outtakes!!

I thought I'd put an outtake of one of my stories here to thank my readers. I mean, why not? Here's a snippet from the original version of Ever Fallen in Love. This isn't edited other than by me and never made it into the actual story because it just wasn't ready so...grin and read on! I hope you enjoy.

"I want us to stay together this time, babe."

"I’d love to," she murmured. "I miss the races--the sights the smells, the fans...all of it. No one at the college is terribly interested in racing. All they care about is facts and figures and making lots of money."

It was almost as if she could step back in time and feel him in her arms.

Megan tilted her head back and kissed him. That same familiar electric current ran the length of her spine. His kiss was a little harder in return and more direct, but it still meant the world to her. She wanted to be as close to Tuck as physically possible. She threw caution to the wind and slid her hands inside his shirt and gingerly ran her fingers along his ripped chest.

His hands were rough against her smooth skin as he slipped the straps of her dress down her arms. Her breasts rose in anticipation. Tucker planted wet, nipping kisses on her swollen nipples.

"Yes. Please. More," she moaned.

He slid out of his shirt and continued to kiss her. She arched her neck to give him access to the sensitive spot on her shoulders. He was the only lover she had ever known, but at this moment, she was sure he was the best. Her cheeks flushed and her heart pounded in her chest.

Weak-kneed, she rested her head on his chest and breathed in his scent. "Make love to me, Tucker."

"Yes." He shucked his khakis and boxers in on swift motion, revealing the reaction she created. Megan slid out of her dress and pressed her body along his. She wrapped her fingers around his cock, stroking and teasing him.

"You feel so good," he gasped. "Lean back and relax." He ran his hand along her wet slit. His breath tickled her flushed skin. She sucked in a sharp breath. Tucker nudged her legs apart. He used two fingers to probe her slick, wet opening. Her muscles tightened around him.

"You’re so pretty and wet." He lowered his lips to tease her with his mouth. He licked and probed her until she found release.

Megan shuddered and gripped his shoulders.

"Yes, baby," he coaxed. "Go with it."

She shivered at his words and the orgasm that overtook her.

"I want to be inside you," he said.

She nodded. "I want that, too. Right now."

Tucker started slowly, but quickly began to thrust into her as his climax built. They came together in a simultaneous orgasm. He collapsed on top of her and sighed. His sandy hair, damped with sweat, hung over his forehead.

"I love you." He lowered his lips to hers. "God, I love you."

"I love you, too." She wrapped her arms around his neck. They stayed tangled up in each other for a few moments longer, until he covered her with his dress shirt and slid on his khakis. Sated, she kissed his neck and snuggled up in the crook of his arm before falling asleep.

As much as she loved him, Megan knew they would part. The day had been too magical to last forever. She sighed, brushed a rogue tear away, and continued to walk away from him. Still, she couldn’t deny that she still had a torch for Tucker.

Monday Moans

I thought I'd stop by today for a short post. I'm in between races and have a moment of free time. I'm a crew chief co the Blitz Racing teams. My good friend Tucker races for us, too. Its a good place to be. Great people. Great resources. Ok, there is one person there... I don't know. I care about her, but I'm married to the race team... I am my job. I don't think she gets that. Then again, I don't always get it. I'm scared to tell her I care ave scare to tell her my secrets. I have some ghosts in my... past that I don't think she'd approve if right off. Sucks. I think I love her. I mean I can't see life without her, I'm just not how to keep her in my life.... Enough for now.

Monday Moans

Oh that man! I just read last week's Monday Moans piece. Tucker Poston. I swear. The man will be the death of me.

I should probably introduce myself before I clamor on about him. How do you do? My name is Megan Rodney. I am the full owner of Blitz Racing. We run two full time stock truck teams (think stock cars, but trucks instead). I've got one full time driver who is young and well...you saw what Tucker wrote (but no, not Tucker). I think the world of Mathew, but he's a definitely a rookie. I said two teams. Yes, I have two. The second team is currently without a driver because the former driver...well, let's just say he didn't fit in a Blitz (tends to happen when the ego outgrows the talent and the driver spends more time in the pits and the coach than he does on track). So you could say I'm driver hunting.

Don't for one moment get that confused with man hunting. Did that, got burned royally twice, and not going through it again. With who? My ex-husband the oversexed and terror of the asphalt track, Rick Rodney. Let's say he spent more time with his junk out and about than he did at home. The other? That would be Tucker, but it's not a very long story or terribly exciting one so I'll keep it quiet.

He'd like a home at Blitz? So he can pad his resume and move on, no doubt.

**Sigh** I loved him once. Maybe even part of me still does, but it doesn't change the past. I want a man to stand beside me at the track, want to be in pictures because he loves me not the media, and the same man to cuddle me close at night when the Ohio winds pick up and snow flies. Find me that man and I'm golden.

Tucker?

Ummmm....

We'll see.

Monday Moans

Ah the craziness begins. If you're like me, it's actually just finished. Confused? I can see you cocking your head like my dog, Dega.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Tucker Poston and I race stock cars for a living. Well, sort of. You see, the season just ended yesterday. I love Miami in fall. It's still like a mild spring day. Plus there's the sea salty air and the acrid tire smoke. So, the festivities and the thrill of the season are over. The hard work is ahead because we have to prepare for next season. Thanksgiving? Christmas? Yeah, they're coming up, but not as essential as tire tests and dyno testing. Come on. I'm a competitor. I want to win, not watch the race from the bleachers.

But that's part of my problem. Yeah...you see, my team decided I wasn't amounting to the next best thing to sliced bread. Sucks. I'm free to seek other employment. Translation: find another team and don't the door slam you in the butt on the way out. Fine. I've got my skills and I can drive when the machinery is up to par. I've got some options. She just doesn't realize it yet.

Megan.

I'm telling you, Megan Rodney was my future back when I was young and dumb and full of vinegar. Was. Yeah, you read that right. She was until I jacked it up. I got a bit ahead of myself and thought I didn't need her love and support. Heck, she was just a kid like me when I started out. But she loved me back then. My ego got the best of me and I pushed her aside thinking the glitz and glamour were more important. They ain't what they're cracked up to be.

You might be thinking at this point that I plan to crawl back to her to get a job.

Bingo.

But, that's not the only thing and certainly not the important part. Yes, she owns a team and yes, she's looking for development talent. Difference? I might need a ride, but I'm also willing to beg if it means being more than just her driver. I want everything. I want the house, the dogs, and the beautiful girl.

This ain't regular rubbin' is racin'. This is the chance to make my life what it should've been from the start.

I'll let you go. I've got a team owner to woo.

Later.
