Hunky Hero Time!

The hop is all about hunky heroes. I'll share one of my books that I think has my hunkiest (is that a word?) hero in it in a few, but here are some of my pics for hunky men.

And...

And one more...

Aren't they all yummy? I think so. And to add to the yumminess, my vote for hunkiest hero is Storm Richardson from My Immortal. It was hard to pick just one, but that's mine.

Who do you vote for your hunkiest hero? Leave that in the comments along with your name and your email and you're in the hopper for the pdf of My Immortal. I'd love it if you followed me on twitter, facebook, the blog, but I don't expect it for you to win. You do it because you want to. And because they are fantastic please stop by Riverina Romantics and so you can keep going, here's the linky code for the rest of the hop:

Ten Things You Didn't Know About...My Immortal

Thought I'd touch on my novella, My Immortal, this week. This was a favorite to write (aren't they all) and I loved Storm's character. I've told the story about how he informed me he was a vampire plenty of times, but here's some factoids you might not have known....

10. Stevie's name comes from Stevie Nicks. Yup. Can't tell I listened to a lot of Fleetwood Mac, can you?

9. Stevie's name is also what my folks wanted to call me, but my mother outlawed the name. Dunno...guess I don't look much like a Stephanie anyway.

8. Persing is a little tribute to my great gramma. It's her maiden name.

7. The main drag of the town is remarkably like the main drag of the town I grew up in.

6. I've always wanted a Camaro...so Stevie got one instead.

5. The name Bruce Tripp was snagged from NASCAR. If you watched the Camping World Truck Series, there is a crew chief named Tripp Bruce. 100% honest truth.

4. Storm didn't bother to tell me right away he was from Salem and it was a pain because then I had to research him and listen to him cackle when I got information wrong.

3. There's a driver mentioned in the story, Tucker Poston. He's the very first character I ever came up with for a romance novel. He's also got his own story coming out August 15th from TEB.

2. I found out the editor wanted to contract the story through an IM at 2 AM my time. Yeah, I squeed really softly. Scared the living berserkers out of my BFF when I IM'ed her.

1. Allan and Todd haven't bothered to tell me if they are a couple or not. Todd's response was a grunt and Allan said "a couple of what?" Men. And Gypsy wants to be involved with both, but they aren't exactly sure what to make of her yet.

Here's the blurb:
What’s a girl to do when she finds out the man of her dreams is a 340 year old vampire?

Run like hell or offer her heart.

Being a vampire hasn’t been easy for Storm Richardson. He’s not programmed to kill or harm, unless he needs to feed. When he meets Stephanie “Stevie” Persing, he knows he’s found his mate. But if he crosses the line between work and play, he risks losing the only person who matters—her.

Stevie’s been in love with Storm since the moment she laid eyes on him. He’s brooding, intense, and her one weakness. But is her heart too steep a price to pay for his love, especially when she discovers his deepest secrets?

This book contains minimal scenes of rape in a flashback. Includes smokin’ hot sex in a hot tub, a pickup truck, and the shower.

Monday Moans and a Release

I'd say get your head out of the gutter, but why? It's fun to be dirty. Now normally, this would be my Monday Moan day. I'd let characters come, play, and meet you all. Storm and Stevie, from My Immortal. I blacked out the windows and kept the room cool for Storm, since he's not used to being up right now.

Today is the realease of my first paranormal novel, you guessed it, My Immortal. Click on the cover or title to purchase.

But that's not all. I'm also taking the book out on a tour. Goddess Fish created a blog tour for me and the book. Want to follow? Click here or on the cover badge.

Follow me and comment and you can win a copy of My Immortal. In fact, I'd love it if you came along for the ride. The first stop, the TODAY stop is to You Gotta Read. I can't wait and hope to see you there.

Monday Moans

Just a moment while I flip on a light. The gentle glow of the computer screen just isn't enough for me to see what I need to type and since I'm better at spying than typing anyway.

Ok, I'm back. So I'm sure you're wondering who Wendi let loose on her blog. Drum roll please! I'm Storm Richardson, nice to make your acquaintance. I'm posting this now because I am a vampire.

Shocked? Well, so is Stevie, but I'm gently convincing her its not a bad thing. I could look at her all night, feel her soft skin against mine, smell the sweet rose of her... Oh, but you want more about me...ahem.

What do you want to know? I like rock and roll music... the darker the better. (You saw that coming, didn't you? Meh.) I prefer to work by moonlight rather than lamplight. I've had at least five jobs in my deadtime. What? I've boxed, worked on a train--loading and unloading, and private investigating, among others.

At one time, I was a Puritan and lived through the Salem Witch Trials. I sleep nude and prefer to be cuddled up to someone warm--Stevie.

Want to know more about me? Well, I guess you have to read my story My Immortal. Since I'm the immortal, it looks like you have to figure out who I belong to. But I tell you, in my 340 years, no regrets.

Ah, but it's also almost 4. I need to pull the curtains and settle in for the day.

Good day. See you in the night time.
