Thank You Thursday ~ Peer Review ~ Bad Dawg

I wanted to share another book I just loved. It's short, sweet, and totally worth reading again and again and again.

Bad Dawg by Lena Austin
Changeling Press Paranormal, Contemporary, M/M, anal sex Short Story

One OTR trucker. One leather-clad biker. One very special town... Finding himself stranded in the middle of Nowhere, Kansas, Loren comes face to face with his favorite fantasy. Hard to say which turns him on more, the '69 Shovelhead, or Bad Dawg -- the bronze god of a biker in the seat.

But can there be any future for men whose livelihoods pull them in opposite directions? And what's with all the Prairie Dawgs all over the place?

Now I'll start this review with this: I love short stories. Love them. Throw in a furry critter and I'm golden. This book had both.

Ms. Austin's story has lots of heart, lots of heat and a biker. How cool is that? I know truckers, so the character of Loren was easy to relate to. He's realistic and loveable, even with his idiosyncrasies. Then there's Bad Dawg himself. The guy is rough. He's a biker, he's supposed to be. But there's something about it--it's almost cuddly and I couldn't not read more. I loved him.

The idea of a prairie dog shifter intrigued me. Pairing a burly biker with a quiet trucker was something I didn't know how Ms. Austin would pull off, but she did and with gusto. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next and when I found out there was more to the story...I was sold!

Grab a copy of this short story for your reader and keep it handy for a chilly night. It's sure to warm you up!

Thank you! Did you know there's more of Loren and BD? Yep, they got a holiday story, "Haulin' Hawg." (grin)http://changelingpress.com/product.php?&upt=book&ubid=1283
