Editing and Reviewing - It's a Great Life

I got at least one of the things on my list accomplished. I got a contract for my novel. Very cool. Now I'm in the midst of edits and it's not horrible. It could be a lot worse and I figure what's being changed is for the better.

My crit partner, Kathleen, is an absolute champ. She keeps my confidence up when it really wants to dip. I love my other crit partners, Kealie, Tonya, and Ashley (aka Elaine), just as much.

I remembered earlier today that I still had three major reviews out for LASR. Yikes! Thank God for laptops and pdf's. Whew! Got them done and ready to move on to more.

Seems like I get really pumped working on one thing and then forget the rest of the stuff I need to do. But hey, a lot on the plate means I'm busy, so I'm not complaining.

But then again - to complain... Yes, i do have a complaint or two, but nothing I can honestly do much about. I know, I know... sounds silly. But my shows are coming to the end, via end of the season. Yes, I am addicted to CSI:Miami, CSI: NY, and Law and Order (the original one). If you saw my eye candy through the year, you'd know that by now.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Jon Togo, Rory Cochrane (I cried when he was killed off), Eddie Cahill, AJ Buckley, and Jeremy Sisto. I even suffered through a made-for-tv version of Julius Caesar because Jeremy played Caesar. He was hot, but the rest of the production stunk.

Oh well...

Enough of my complaining. I'm off to edit land

Toodles.

Sharing the love all around.

It was sorta funny but not when they killed off Speed because I had to explain it to my 6 yr old why mommy cried at the tv. he still doesn't get it, but that's okay.

But Wolfe is good in his own ways.
