Monday Morning Armchair Quarterback - Preseason, Week Three

This week has been hard for Cleveland area teams. First, the Gladiators, the arena football team, blew the Arena Football version of the Super Bowl...in Cleveland. The Browns showed why they've been nicknamed the Clowns in the past. Sigh. At least the Indians won their games.

But this is about football. Grin. The Bengals aren't playing until the late game, so as of this posting I don't know the score. I'm watching, but I don't know the end score.

While I'm watching, I'll present the Honorable Mentions.

"Some penetration into the back end."
Code phrase for anal sex.

"Delivers the blow."
That's the one on his or her knees.

"big back bangs it inside the twenty."
Now we're talking about a gangbang.

"Went right to his partner for Thanksgiving day."
That's sweet.

Now, it's time for the funnies. I love these.

"Forced it up into triple coverage."
A fourway! Nice!

"A nice hole up the middle."
Usually the hole is good in the middle.

"he does it as well as I've seen from anyone else."
Now we're critiquing the players. Nice.

"Whole host of new receivers this year."
Sounds like the starting line up for porn.

"Gets some sort of chemistry going."
Awww. Another sweet one.

"Gang tackled and thrown to the ground."
He probably liked it. Kink can be good.

Now for that Doozy of the Week...

"Lays down the wood there."
Either he's taking his dick out or he's playing with a toy. Can we watch?

Thanks for reading the Football Funnies for the week.
On a sad note, this is the last set of games before the cuts to the roster. Some will persevere, but others will be cut. I'm sorry to see you go, but I'm glad to watch you play.

Come on, Cincy! Let's win ONE preseason game and spank that season so we can get into the post season and win one there, too!!

Caption This!

I've always loved those caption this challenges on Facebook, so I thought I'd come up with a few for the hump day. Here's week one!

Racing Quotes of the Week... on Friday!

Image credit: ensup / 123RF Stock Photo

These are from the Unlimited and were funny as heck. :-) Love this stuff and hope you do, too.

"...Aggressive since the drop of the green..."
Well, I'd certainly hope so. It was a green.

"...dived into a hole..."
Isn't that what it was there for?

"...thought he had a hole, went into a hole, didn’t make it..."
That's a lot of hole play. Maybe better switch it up.

"...just hangs up and sends H to the front..."
Maybe it was his turn?

"...L is loose..."
Now that's not nice. He might be a very tight guy. You don't know for sure. Or do you?

"...engine boy..."
I hoped they were referring to the engineer or something, but it really sounds bad.

Thanks for reading and make sure you stay tuned for the next set of quotes next week. Fun from the 500!!!
Enjoy!

Dropped the Ball...But I Read a Book!

I usually have a Sunday Snog and a Suit Up Sunday Post up today. Usually.
Except life got out of hand (imagine that) and I'm still getting caught up. I wrote a little (very little) and totally forgot to set up posts. Yeah, crazy.

The allergies are acting up. The child has poison ivy on his PALMS. We attended a wedding (which was fun) and had a vacation. Got to see family we haven't seen in forever. Went to a dog-n-suds (haven't been to one of those in a long time) Got to see more racing. Dodged the poison ivy on the child. But I'm pooped. Holy cow. I swear going away requires a set period of recoup afterwards.

But I had some time where writing wasn't going to happen - too many eyes watching that really don't appreciate my having blue hair, much less writing 'those dirty books' - to I read. Yep, that's why the book cover is up there. I read Lesley-Ann Jones' book, Mercury. If you haven't figured out by now, I love Freddie. Wish he hadn't passed, even though he succeeded in doing what many have tried - he went out on top and has become a legend - not flaming out with a crash and burn. Started the book Friday and have 1/3 left. Love it. Why? It's not the end-all, be-all on Freddie. No one, short of Freddie himself could tell that, and even he'd be cagey about it. But it's intersting. There's more than just a bio here. It's like being there at the same time. I liked it. Hope to finish it tonight. :-)

Where In the World Was....Wendi Zwaduk

So where was I all last week? You might have noticed I pretty much dropped off the face of the blog-o-sphere. Wasn't on the 'net much either. Well, being carsick tends to keep one off the computer. But you were wondering where I was. Ahh... Well, I was here:
CHARLOTTE!!!

That's right. I went to the races in Charlotte, NC. Was it a blast? Heck yeah, man. Not only were we at the Z Max Drag Strip (didn't see a drag race...sorry), but I did get to see my big block modifieds, the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and the World of Outlaws Late Models.

It's loud, dirty (hey, it's on the dirt track, what do you expect?) and so much fun. I think I had about 7 layers of clothes on, but oh well. Went to a couple race shops (RCR and Stewart-Haas), visited the Richard Childress Winery and got one of those plastic cups that looks like one from a take out place. Yeah, C convinced me I wanted one.

Even saw an alien, I think. Or it was my youngling. Not sure. BHe found the camera and decided he had to be independent. Doesn't bother me. Funny pic. :-)

Speaking of children...while I was down there, no I didn't get pregnant (that's a closed topic), but if you were at the Lori Foster event this past June and talked to me and my BFF Chris, you probably noticed she WAS pregnant. She's not anymore. She had the small person on my bday!! Yeah, talk about a crazy fun present. But being an Auntie, I can give the squawker back. Love him, sugar him up when he gets bigger, and send him home. I'm evil.

Okay so I know this is really blurry, but it was REALLY cold. At least my driver, Tim McCreadie won the Big Block Modified Race BOTH NIGHTS!!! Yeah, I was stoked. Plus he's a cutie patootie!

Well, that was my week. I didn't get anything done on my NaNo story. Imagine that. Being cooped up in the RV an sitting sideways with little moving air isn't conducive to writing. Didn't help the youngling snagged my notebook to write HIS books. Oh well. Guests the rest of the week, but I'll have a Friday Flirt up. Megan's first ever MM story comes out on Friday! Stay tuned. :-)
