EXCERPT:
“Hello, Jenna.”
Holy shit, he is my date. A lump formed in her throat and she stared at the man at the bottom of the stairs. Drake Martin. The bane of her existence and the only man she’d never been able to get out of her mind.
She tripped down the final step and lurched forward. Instead of hitting the ground, she sagged into his arms and bit back a cry before righting herself. So much for confidence and poise. Few situations handed her curveballs the way being with him did.
With one clumsy move on her part and his answering grin, he managed to wipe out the aplomb she’d fought so hard to learn. “Steps are still your downfall, aren’t they?” He brushed a curl from her eyes. “I forgot how beautiful you are.”
He’d shaken something deep down inside her. The part of her she thought she’d buried when she walked away from him—the bad girl who let go of her past and craved his sensual punishment. “How did…?” Damn it. She hadn’t meant to sound clueless. “I mean, hi.”
“Hello, sweetheart. How did what?” His brows rose. “How did you end up here? That’s my fault.” Drake shrugged and the corner of his mouth curled into a half smile. “The airport has memories for us. I thought it was fitting.”
“Actually, I wanted to know how Madame Eve knew to have the plane bring me here—to you.” Her chest heaved and she took a few long breaths to calm down. “I haven’t told anyone.”
He inched closer to her, enough that his breath skittered on her skin. His eyes darkened. “I told her.”
Being around him was too dangerous. He knew things about her that no one else knew, especially where to cut the deepest. Even with all she’s learned since they’d been apart, trusting him still scared her. But damn, she wanted to fall into his arms. And not by accident.
Throwing her hands in the air, she shook her head. “Well, I’m here.”

QUESTION TIME!

You might be wondering what Christmas lights have to do with an erotic romance, especially one that takes place at an airport. Well, lots.

DH was a pilot at a small airport when we started dating. I remember going to the airport to fly for dates. Granted we didn't go too far, but we had a good time and he got practice. For our dates otherwise, we'd hang out in our dorm rooms. Yep, we met in college. And one of the things I remember was his penchant for decorating with Christmas lights. So when the couple has their date, courtesy of Madame Eve, there had to be Christmas lights.

Now, if you're in a relationship, what are some of the little things that makes you think of your partner? If you're not, that's okay. What are little things you like done for you? Let me know in the comments. Each comment gets you entered to win the reader!

And for your viewing pleasure, here's a great video, courtesy of JoAnne Kenrick

And since I have your attention, here's a little bit about One More Night.

Fantastic Review For One More Night

Got a fantastic review for One More Night and I can't wait to share it with you!

"This story was such a sincere and understanding reality of how our insecurities from the past can be worked out when there is communication in a relationship. Whether it is about personal issues with your family up bringing baggage or your sexual appetites, there is nothing that love can’t fix especially when love connects you with your soul mate – after all, love does conquer all.

Jenna and Drake's erotic passion burns the pages up, the erotic foreplay, spankings, one on one love making and anal action had me spellbound. The tenderness and understanding Drake gave Jenna after getting everything out in the open left me craving for more of their on going future. I look forward to reading more of Wendi Zwaduk’s work."

And now for that Excerpt!

“I spend more time here than my apartment. I should let the lease run out and move into the break room next door. I thought about putting in a trailer at the end of the parking lot, but I haven’t gotten around to it. I’m not much for modular housing.” “You don’t care where you live as long as the house is bolted to the ground. Is there a plot of land across the road? You could build a nice home there.”

“True.” He waved her into his office. “What do you think?”

The whole building screamed class—from the ebony-tiled floors to the chic black pin striping on the walls. She let go of his arm and clasped her hands together. Under the formalities of being an office, his space showed his originality. Models of famous aircraft dangled from the the ceiling. Framed images of his aircraft decorated the walls along with a smattering of awards, and an enormous map of the state. But no photos of people.

The cheesy Christmas lights encircling the window snagged her attention. When they’d dated, Drake always had a set of the tiny bulbs. He’d loved the way the lights filled the room with soft color. A sheet covered the desk, creating a fancy table complete with fried chicken and biscuits. Tears misted in her eyes. He’d done the same spread the night he popped the question—the night she ran away.

“You remembered.”

“Thought we’d get to eat dinner this time.” Drake closed the office door then crossed the room to his desk. When he sat down in his office chair, his face lost all color for a moment and his brow creased. “Long day.”

“Do you want to stick with that answer or come up with something new?” “I’ll stay in the holding pattern for a little longer.”

“Sure.” She tossed her shoes onto the carpet. The chicken smelled divine, but she wasn’t in the mood to eat. They had one night and by God, she was going to take all she could get. Answers could come later.

Jenna moved the chicken to the side and grabbed the cord to close the blinds. “Since this is supposed to be a one-night stand, why don’t we try a few things we never got around to doing? We’ve never played airline CEO and the naughty receptionist.”

And now for that snog!!

“Drake?”

Shock spiraled through his veins. “I didn’t hear you. Taking lessons from your cat?” “I took off my shoes.” Jenna inched up beside him and tossed her stilettos onto the floor. “Help me up?”

“You want to be here now?”

“I do. I planned all these things I wanted to say to you when I saw you again and I let my emotions get to me. I’m sorry I got snarky with you.” She flattened her hands on the counter and hopped onto the Formica surface. “There.”

“Nice.”

“I owe you a proper hello.” She rubbed her nose along his. “Hi, Drake. I’ve missed you.” She captured his mouth in a kiss.

Tingles surged down his spine. Heat settled in his belly and a groan bubbled in his throat. He smoothed his hands along her sides. Without breaking the kiss, she leaned closer and licked the seam of his lips. God, he loved when she took the lead. A glimpse of creamy skin caught his attention and he palmed her thigh.

Jenna shifted to the edge of the counter and wrapped her legs around him. Moving in time with her, he wedged one hand between their bodies and massaged circles down her belly to her pussy. His other hand touched the damp silk of her panties. He swallowed her gasp. The aroma of her arousal floated through the air. He memorized the way she smelled, like cinnamon and musk.

She broke the kiss first and rested her forehead on his. “You bring out the bad girl in me. I forgot how much I liked it.”

If he shoved her panties to the side, she’d let him grope her there in the reception room. He resisted the urge to go too far and moved her dress to repair her modesty. “You’re good at being bad.”
