Yep, I'm waiting.
I subbed a new medium length work and I'm waiting.
I also resubbed a short work. Yes, I'm waiting.
To pass the time, I wrote a short and subbed that too. But that one is a recent sub, so I don't expect an immediate response.
But still...
Seems like I spend a lot of time waiting. Don't get me wrong, I don't JUST wait. That would be boring and silly.
I work on my cop and my vampire. I also am working on my farmer (I love my farmer). I can't still idle.
What do you do when you have to wait? How do you deal with the uncertainty and that feeling that maybe the MS wasn't all you thought it could be?
Let me know!
Toodles.

Just keep writing and try to forget about your submissions. Keep moving forward, don't look back.
Thanks! You made my day. Will do.
Well, I got three acceptances tonight. Yipee! Crazy in Love, Carnal Lust, and Bad Conduct (the resubmission).
Fortunately, I only had to wait a week to hear on all three of these. Meanwhile, I was editing another book, and I wrote two short stories I submitted for promo (now waiting on word about those.)
I've also been tweeting and blogging and blog hopping and chatting this week - I just had a new release last Monday - "Sorry Charlie" in "Friction" at Total-E-Bound.com
You're right. After submitting one work, dig in on another.
I can't wait to read about your farmer. :)
I want to bug the editor abou the resub, but am afraid to. Eeek!
Congrats on the contracts. Very cool! Proud of ya!
