So What's So Great About True Blood?

Okay, I have a very good friend who convinced me that I needed to watch True Blood. Soooooooo...... I got a copy from the library.

And...

I like the show. It's interesting and has me snagged. I'm not big into the whole New Moon craze. I'm not an Edward or whoever the other guy is. (see? I don't even know their names.) Tara cracks me up. And the sheriff is hysterical. He's got some of the best one-liners. And Jason? Well, I know a few guys just like him and its amusing to see him deal with his...er...issues.

But I don't totally get the whole Eric thing. I mean, so far most everyone I talked to seems to think that Eric is just the unliving end. Bad boys rule.

Um...

I'm more in the Sam camp. I have no idea what he is yet (because I haven't seen ALL the episodes yet). I mean, I'm not super big into shape shifters although I rather like vampires (Can't you tell?). But Sam intrigues me and I want to keep watching because even though I assume he won't end up with the heroine... I still want to see him have his HEA.

So for now, I'm going back to watching the rest of Season One. So far, I can't stop.
