Cover Addict and Loving It

I just read Regina Carlysle's blog about being a cover addict and I must admit I'm guilty, but not at all ashamed. When I venture to the store in hopes if snatching a new romance to read, of course I have my faves - Lori Foster, Kresley Cole, Erin McCarthy, Janice Maynard, Carly Phillips, and Jennifer Crusie, to name a few - but I'm also tempted when I see the new Harlequin's each month, especially the Blaze novels.

Yes, I am a sucker for a hard body with little chest hair and a Stetson. Call me crazy, but I don't care.

I picked up Kimberly Raye's Drop Dead Sexy simply because I liked the man on the cover. Okay, I enjoyed her work until then too. Once I opened the book, I found it was one of my all time faves! So sue me. The man drew me in and now I have all the books from that series, save for Tex Appeal. Oh, I did read it and savored it, but I didn't quite get to the store in time to buy it. Darn it.

The same thing happened with Kresley Cole's A Hunger Like No Other. The man on the cover looked like Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails). For some reason he caught my eye. I loved that book instantly too.

The same goes for Lora Leigh's elite op's boys and her SEALS. Hard body. T, D, & H, I'm sold.

So enough blustering about my addictions. I have to go back to the bat cave to work on my own writing.

OMG, *snicker* That Drop Dead Gorgeous book... yeah, I bought it for the same reason and loved it. Maybe we were seperated at birth......

Could be because that was one fine cover! And the book was pretty darn hot too.
