Dead in a Park
by B.L. Blair

When Leah Norwood finds the body of Donald Collins in the city park, she doesn’t know he is a
distant relative. Young Donnie was a jewel thief and a career criminal. Hidden in the lining of his suit jacket was an exact replica of a ring that has been in Leah’s family for over a hundred years. After her home is burglarized, the sexy chief of police is convinced the ruby ring has something to do with the murder.

Leah wants to find out what happened to Donnie, but why would someone kill for a hundred year old ring? She discovers a connection between Donnie and the drug-dealing Cantono family, between the Cantono family and a jewelry appraiser, and between the jewelry appraiser and one of her own employees. Chief Griggs might be onto something. All clues lead back to the family ring.

And now for an excerpt:

“According to my grandfather, who was Albert’s oldest son, Arthur refused to give Albert his share of the money and after Arthur died, Rose took off with it. After Rose disappeared, Albert changed and he refused to discuss the money or Rose ever again.”

“If she took the money, my grandmother never saw it.”

“She didn’t take the money,” Wade said.

“You seem very sure of that.”

“I am. My grandfather died five months ago. He lived in the same house all of his life. It had been Albert’s house as well. When we were cleaning it out, we found a box with a letter from Rose and a sketchbook.”

“Really?” I asked excitedly. My grandmother had often talked about her father’s sketches. She had been nine when he died, but she remembered looking through his books and watching him draw.

Wade nodded. “The letter was dated a month after Rose disappeared. She told Albert that the money was gone, and that she had left the gems where Arthur had hidden them. She said they had caused their family nothing but pain. She begged him to leave them and her alone. With the letter, she sent the sketchbook.”

“When Arthur died, his jewelry was in high demand. Those sketches would have been worth a good deal,” I said. “He never sold them?”

“No,” Wade replied. “As far as I can tell, they’re all still there. The letter and the sketchbook were wrapped in an old cloth and stored in a box. The letter was postmarked Dallas, Texas.”

We were both silent as I took it all in. When I looked back at Wade, he was watching me. I smiled slightly. “He let her go.”

Wild Irish Heart
by Tricia O'Malley

It is time…

An ancient book, a power untouched, and a heart unloved lead Keelin O'Brien from her graduate studies in Boston to a small village on the coast of Southern Ireland. Determined to unearth the secrets lying hidden in the enchanted waters of the cove, Keelin has little time for a surly Irishman who infuriates her during the day and haunts her fantasies at night.

Inexplicably drawn to the woman who has stepped from his dreams and into his world, Flynn fights a stubborn battle against his increasing attraction for Keelin. Forces unknown have better plans for the two.

Only the secrets of the cove can show Keelin who she really is, the beauty of her mysterious power, and a love that will break the bounds of what she knows.

From New York Times Bestselling author, Tricia O'Malley, comes a new romance series set on the rocky shores of Ireland.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And now for an Excerpt:
"I suppose I should thank you," Keelin stuttered. She tried to regain her composure as she lifted her chin at him.
"Of all the…how do I end up with the woman that is stubborn as all get-out?"
 Flynn said to himself as he started the motor and whipped towards shore. Keelin pulled the towel that he had handed around her and tried to get warm.
"You know, most women would have thrown themselves on me in gratitude. You know, promising anything I wanted? Offers of undying devotion? Baked goods? No. You can barely thank me." Flynn glared at her.
Keelin stared regally at him from across the boat.
"I am sure I would have been fine. I just needed to cut across the current is all, and I was a bit disoriented."
"A bit? You were a quarter mile out! You were shark bait. A goner! What were you even thinking? Are you insane?" Flynn lost it as they motored quietly into the cove. His shouts echoed off the walls of the empty cove and Ronan went silent on the beach.
"Hey! You aren't the boss of me! I'll have you know that I am a trained diver. I study this. This is what I do."
"Trained? Hardly! If you were trained you would know not to go diving alone and perhaps maybe to study the waters ahead of time and know that there is a nine-knot current that runs outside the cove. Had I not been out fishing today and heard your cry for help you would have been gone in minutes!" Flynn cut the motor and raged at her.
Keelin stood up on shaky legs and yelled at him.
"I'll have you know that I am a professional!"
"A professional pain in the ass!"
They were nose to nose in the rocking boat. Keelin's breath huffed out and her chest heaved.
Flynn sighed and laid his forehead against hers, surprising her.
"Just. Just don't ever do that again. Please."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And now for an Excerpt

Hades kissed his wife, Persephone, one last time before reluctantly relinquishing her above ground, where her mother impatiently waited.

“Behave while I’m gone, Hades.” Persephone traced a pink-kissed nail along her husband’s dark jawline.

He was loathe to shave too often as the rough stubble against her skin excited her. “Six months is ridiculously long,” he murmured against her lush lips. “Find a way to meet me at the meadow.”

Mischief danced in her eyes as she stepped onto the boat which would ferry her along the River Styx, leading her out of the Underworld. “It’s a date,” she purred, blowing her husband a sultry kiss.

That woman slays me. He watched until she was out of sight. Once his bride was gone, his attention returned to his beloved Underworld and the current state it was in.

Hades leapt onto his chariot. A resounding crack split the air as he commanded his four black horses to lead him past boiling lava pits and stalagmites to the deepest, fiery pits of the abyss—Tartarus.

Creatures scampered out of his way. Fallen angels and demons went about their business—lest they draw his anger—as he thundered past. Tormented screams echoed off cavernous walls and pools of fiery despair. His pulse roared in his veins. He reveled at what he was about to see…

The Fates’ curse had begun.

Reining his steeds to a halt, he dismounted, his black boots crunching on a mixture of bones and jagged pieces of rock. Amidst the prisons, the things of nightmares tortured imprisoned souls.

A laugh rumbled up from his gut and rolled out. He threw back his head then ran his hands through his black hair, freeing it from its tie. Pers wasn’t here right now, due to his brother, Zeus’s, acquiescence to Demeter.

Hades ignored the slow burn in his chest at the thought of his wife being gone for six long months and focused on the game of persecuting his brother instead, for he knew a thing or two about Aiesa’s offspring that Zeus did not.

An ear-splitting scream rent the air, snapping Hades out of his thoughts. New souls.

He knew who sent them. Although he benefitted from so many entering his domain, his brother would not be happy.

What a perfect time to pay Zeus a visit.

Cover Reveal ~ A Duchess in Name by Amanda Weaver

It's a Cover Reveal featuring A Duchess in Name by Amanda Weaver. There are prizes involved! What? You could win a $20 Amazon or B/N GC to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour.
All you have to do is comment! Very cool. Want more chances to win? Follow the tour here: http://goddessfishpromotions.blogspot.com/2015/10/book-blast-duchess-in-name-by-amanda.html

A Duchess in Name
by Amanda Weaver

Victoria Carson never expected love. An American heiress and graduate of Lady Grantham's finishing
school, she's been groomed since birth to marry an English title--the grander the better. So when the man chosen for her, the forbidding Earl of Dunnley, seems to hate her on sight, she understands that it can't matter. Love can have no place in this arrangement.

Andrew Hargrave has little use for his title, and even less for his cold, disinterested parents. Determined to make his own way, he's devoted to his life in Italy, working as an archaeologist. Until the collapse of his family's fortune drags him back to England, to a marriage he never wanted and a woman he doesn't care to know.

Wild attraction is an unwanted complication for them both, though it forms the most fragile of bonds. Their marriage of convenience isn't so intolerable after all--but it may not be enough when the deception that bound them is finally revealed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And now for an excerpt:
“Goodnight, Miss Carson.”
“Goodnight, Your Lordship.”
He held onto her hand for a beat too long, that delicious roughness of his palm heating hers. Her stomach erupted in butterflies. Utter romantic nonsense. It was a handshake. She glanced up at his face and their eyes met. The butterflies vanished and her stomach dropped clean to her feet. Her feet were rooted in place, but her body swayed slightly, as if being tugged toward him by an invisible thread. A muscle in his cheek twitched. Then, to her shock, he leaned in and kissed her cheek.
Her skin warmed beneath his lips and a delicious tingle shot down the back of her neck. It was only a moment, a brush of his lips against her cheek, but it heated her all the way down to the soles of her feet. Well, there was her answer about his touch. That tiny kiss was ricocheting through her body, laying waste to her good sense.
He drew back two scant inches, his eyes meeting hers in the dull gold glow of the gaslight wall sconces behind her. She could feel his breath on her mouth. There was only his beautiful, strong face and those shockingly blue eyes and his lips, which had made her feel so much at the slightest touch. She swayed toward him again. His eyelids lowered, his gaze dropping to her mouth.
The Raven Room
by Ana Medeiros
Anything you can imagine. Everything you crave. For the members of The Raven Room, it’s every fantasy fulfilled. But for some, that desire is a matter of life and death.
Drawn by needs he cannot control, Julian ventures to The Raven Room, a secret and exclusive sex club in the underbelly of Chicago. It goes beyond sex. It goes beyond kink. The Raven Room is the only place where Julian finds release from the dangerous urges that threaten to destroy the successful life he’s worked so hard to build.
When the police link the Raven Room to the death of a young woman, it threatens to expose a number of powerful people—people who would kill to stay anonymous...
Meredith’s body can’t get enough of Julian. He has opened her sexual horizons to tempting new possibilities. But out of bed she’s an aspiring journalist, and The Raven Room is the story she’s been looking for. By writing an exposé on the club and its elite clientele, she plans to launch her career.
As Meredith embarks on a sexual journey into the forbidden world that Julian inhabits, questions emerge, and dark appetites threaten to swallow her whole.  How much can she trust the man who has laid bare her erotic nature and how much will she sacrifice in order to protect him?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And now for an Excerpt:

He still thought of them.
Julian woke up that morning covered in a thin layer of sweat,
feeling like he couldn’t breathe. He forced himself to inhale and
sat on the bed with his head hanging forward between his tense
shoulders. He kept his eyes closed, afraid to open them. Maybe he
was still in the house. The fast pounding of his heart against his
chest was making his whole body throb. It hurt. He ran his fingers
through his hair and rested his damp forehead on his arm.
Julian opened his eyes. Unwrapping the covers from around
his lower body, he got up and made his way to the window at the
opposite end of the dark room. He drew the heavy, grey curtains and
the dull, early winter morning light surrounded him. He squinted
and the feeling of the hardwood floor against his bare feet brought
him unexpected comfort. He had always liked the cold.
It was another snowy day in Chicago. Through the floor–to ceiling
bedroom windows on his eighty-fifth floor condo on North
Wabash Avenue, he had full view of the eastern side of the city.
Though it was early, the streets below were already hectic with
traffic and pedestrians, all trying to move as fast as they could. To
Julian they looked like scattered, lost toys. Sometimes he would
concentrate, trying to hear the faint buzz of city noise, but that far
up it was impossible. There was only silence. He felt detached from
all the life unfolding at his feet, but he never got tired of watching
it. The view was magnificent. It didn’t matter how often or for how
long he stared at it. The city skyline was a sight that never failed to
move him.

Timeless Passion
by Kayden Claremont

Museum director Tasha Banner needs a miracle. Without a great deal of luck and even more money,
the pioneer museum will close. But when they demonstrate a Scottish New Year’s tradition, a tall, dark, and yummy stranger walks through the door. Have the faeries sent her a miracle wrapped around the man of her dreams or will altering time bring disaster to them all?

Blacksmith Dougal MacBride walks into his home after a long day and finds strangers celebrating Hogmanay when it’s just days before Christmas. Confused beyond belief and incredibly aroused by the curvaceous bundle in front of his hearth, he is torn between the need to return to his time or remain in the present with the woman who may be his soul mate.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And now for an Excerpt:
“Mac, you can’t be serious.” Tasha looked at him. He definitely looked the part with his clothing and speech but that was impossible. “If he was really Dougal MacBride, he’d be 200 years old.
Look at him. He’s a thirty-year-old gym jock.”
“A what?” asked Dougal.
       “What if he is really from the past?” Mac lowered her voice and shrugged. “We wished for help and he showed up.”
Tasha glanced at Dougal. He did look like he belonged in this log cabin. “He can’t be.”
“You have to admit, he looks and sounds authentic enough.”
Every time she looked at him, Tasha wanted to push him onto the rope bed and ride the hell out of him. “So do people in the movies, but they aren’t real either.”
“’Tis rude to be talking about me while I’m standing in front of ye.” Dougal glowered at them.
Mac pulled Tasha to her feet and led her across the room toward Dougal. “Mr. MacBride, I’m Mackenzie Smith, Mac for short, and this is Tasha Banner.” She extended her hand to Dougal. “Pleased to meet you.”
Dougal glanced down at Mac’s hand but didn’t take it.
Mac dropped her hand to her side when he failed to grasp it. “We, Tasha and I, wished for the faeries to help us save the village museum and you walked through the door. The faeries have smiled on us this fine day.” “Mac stop,” said Tasha.
Book Tour ~ From Prussia with Love by Tina Christopher
Check out the work of Tina Christopher. You'll love it. What's more, you'll love that you can win prizes by interacting with the tour stop! What can you win? Tina Christopher will be awarding a steampunk jewelry set, which contains a necklace and a pair of earrings as well as a 8 book collection of her books to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour. Follow the tour here for more chances to win: http://goddessfishpromotions.blogspot.com/2015/09/vbt-from-prussia-with-love-by-tina.html
First, here's my interview with Tina!
 Describe yourself in three words.
Passionate. Supportive. Reliable.
Cast your book.  Tell us who would play the main characters in a movie and why.
This is tough. I’ve tried doing this before, but no real person matches the image I have in my head. So here are the closest matches:
For Garrett it would have to be a mixture of Chris Hemsworth (have you seen him without his shirt?!) and Daniel Craig (he has that edge I imagine Garrett has)
For Clara it would be a mixture of Alexandra Daddario (she matches Clara’s description and she was pretty kick-ass in the Percy Jackson movies) and Cate Blanchett (she has this elegance and confidence Clara has).
3   What’s your favorite love scene from a movie?
I may be evicted from the League of Romance Writers, but I’m not a big fan of romantic movies. I prefer action movies. Something is blown up or evil is being eviscerated by a sword and I’m in. Action movies also have all the best one-liners. Here is one of my favourite scenes:
4   What’s your wildest fantasy?
I’ve always wondered about the possibility of discovery. What would it feel like to have wild, passionate sex beside a crowd of people? Any moment it someone could come around the corner and see us…
If you were to lose one of your senses, which would you rather lose and why?
That’s a difficult question. After thinking about it for a bit I think I’d go with my sense of hearing. I can’t imagine not being able to see. I love art and the beauty of nature. Hiking in the wilderness. I like listening to music, but it doesn’t fill me with the same sense of awe as the visual world does. I think I could adapt to not being able to hear.
And now for the quickies--fast, loose and dirty!
Boxers or Briefs? Boxers
Pajamas or nude? Pajamas
Hairy chests or smooth? A sprinkling of hair.
Alpha or Beta? Alpha.
Now for a little bit about From Prussia With Love
From Prussia With Love
by Tina Christopher
Clara Redbeck has one goal: to prove to the sods at work—and to herself—that the best man for the job can be a woman. To do that, she must prevent a traitor from blowing London to bits. If only the dashing first mate of the dirigible she’d been tasked to plunder didn’t set her aflame.
Garrett Dewhurst has one goal: to execute the coup of a lifetime. His plans do not include a spanking dalliance with the most intriguing woman he has ever met.
With each encounter, the fire between them burns hotter and their need grows stronger. Finally, the cramped cabin aboard the Bismarck becomes their intimate playground, where Garrett introduces Clara to the pleasure of submission and they explore their passion in every way possible.
Clara and Garrett want a future together, but each holds a secret that if revealed could cost them everything. When danger closes in, they have to choose between protecting themselves or the whole of London.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And now for an Excerpt:

Garrett tugged on her hand when she wanted to hurry on and slowed her to a normal walk. “We’re nearly there, love. No need to rush now.”

She looked at him and groaned. “You have got to be kidding, Garrett! You can’t seriously want to go slow?”

He didn’t, not really, but he hovered too close to the edge and needed to find control. And he loved playing with her. He smiled and knew the result was not charming or nice. “You did say the last time that going slow had some advantages.” He offered her his arm. “And we’d be a little obvious if we hurried through the streets like our clothes were on fire.”

Clara took his arm but grumbled. She was cute when she pouted. He was wise enough not to mention that to her. She did carry a gun and was a little unpredictable in her current state.

For the next ten minutes, they walked, a touch slower than absolutely necessary, and with each step the tension between them thickened. They exchanged no words. Instead he imagined everything he wanted to do to her, thankful his long coat disguised his response.

A couple of times they had to step around street-cleans. With their flat metal bodies and numerous appendages, they were perfect for cleaning up the city.

Clara skirted one with a grimace. “They always remind me of spiders. Any moment I expect them to turn on me, wrap me in their web, and drag me back to their lair.”

Garrett swallowed his smile and paused beside one that barely reached his ankle. “Yes, I completely understand.” He tapped it with his toe. “We should install surveillance across the city to ensure our citizens are safe.”

Tina Christopher spent her early years flitting across the Channel between Germany and

Like most writers, Tina often hears voices in her head, but it took the encouragement of an editor friend to have her actually put fingers to keyboard. While those first stories will never see the light of day, she’s subsequently honed her craft and learned to build not just worlds, but entire galaxies. History has always been an area of interest for her, and she’s enjoys few things more than imagining what could happen when history and future meet.

When not imagining far-away worlds and scorching-hot encounters, Tina can be found on her sofa working through her never-ending TBR pile or venturing into the real world—whether to a nearby café or a passport-required destination.
